We cannot recommend Sonder enough. The rooms are way more spacious compared to Hilton or Marriott, and cheaper if you are staying longer. The kitchen is well appointed, with all the utensils you need. The bathroom is good sized, water pressure is great. The fantastic features include free washers and dryers, with free soap on the 7th floor, as well as a break area along with a fantastic view of NY from the top floor. The staff is very friendly, and can't beat the location.

Great location and great space. Would have been slightly more comfortable with better seating in the living/dining area. Bed was extremely comfortable. The HVAC unit in the bedroom did not work, only blew out cold air. The vendor came and supposedly fixed it, but didn't. Instructions on how to turn the dishwasher on would have been nice. The front desk staff (especially Amaya) were super helpful!

I enjoyed it. Space was decent with a separate living area. Only thing to add is that the moss feature directly above the sofa will drop some loose moss or leaves on the sofa. No issue with loud road noise or anything. Uber pickup is right on roadside.

Sonder is for people who are really staying longer than 5+ nights, it like sn Air B&B as a hotel all you door lock are on the app in fact everything is done on the app, from checking in/out, door codes, reporting problems and you chat to real people not AI. There are 2 washers and 3 dryers free to use, you may have to wait, but if there is a bag on top it is acceptable to remove the washing to the bag to free up and use the machine. In the same area the is a small cupboard with essentials if you run out dishwasher tablets, etc. The Hotel is in a great location you can here from JFK via the Airtrain to Howard's Beach Station and then the MTA A to Fulton Street Metro Station which is alot cheaper than a taxi. Fulton Street Metro Station (MTA 2,3,4,5,A,J &Z) about 3 doors up and get to the World Trade Center Observation entrance via the WTC (PATH Green & Red and MTA 1, N, & W) without going outside, good if it raining. For long stops worth a look in to.

I couldn’t have picked a more perfect hotel for my girls trip to NYC. First of all, it was BEAUTIFUL. Our room was HUGE and easily accommodated 3 people - the sofa was a sleeper sofa and extra pillows and blankets were already in the room so we didn’t have to ask for them. The kitchen had a 2-burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator, so we were able to cook some meals in the room to save money. It was fully stocked with all the dishes and utensils we needed. The view from the living room was exactly what I was looking for. Now about the location - I couldn’t have planned it better if I tried. There are multiple subway lines within steps of the front door of the hotel - one at each end of the block, and then the Fulton Center subway line about halfway down this block of John St on the same side as the hotel. You will not have to walk far at all to reach a subway. There’s a grocery store a few blocks down, a Duane Reade right next door, and an amazing pizza place called 2 Bros Pizza at the end of the block. It’s super close to the 9/11 Memorial, The Occulus, Wall Street, Battery Park, etc. It’s a great neighborhood to stay in because you’re away from the hustle and bustle of Midtown. Don’t forget to take advantage of the amazing rooftop!

I love this hotel brand and have stayed here 3 times. Room 504 is a giant corner room and my favorite so far. I've also stayed in 1103 which is a smaller room (studio) but still just as comfy! 801 was my most recent stay and while not my favorite one, still - you cannot beat the price for the space! The rooftop terrace is another fave aspect of this spot (15th floor). Very close to World Trade Center. Bummer they changed the creamer to powder, but there us a store right next door where you can grab some cream or any other groceries you may need. I love that I can take The A C or E train from Penn station right to this apartment hotel. Super convenient! This Sonder has a front desk staff. Always very nice and helpful. The video is of room 801. I pretty much only stay in Sonders now. I really enjoy the aspect of only needing a code to get in - it feels more secure and also gives you the feel that it's your own apartment.

Second time at City Hall Park and really had a wonderful experience. The location is great, you are close from everywhere with the subway lines five minutes away. The studio was spacious and easily accommodated the three of us. The place was very clean and had all the appliances and equipment needed. The staff at the reception was extremely helpful and nice. They helped me solve the problem with my refrigerated food at time of checkout. I will definitely be back!

I stayed 4 nights here and didn't get a single good night's sleep. The first room they checked me in had a ventilator right next to the bed that made rackets. I asked them to look into it and they moved me to another room (why they thought it was okay to put a guest in the first room is anyone's guess). The second room was marginally quieter but the windows were not soundproof at all so there was noise from the street ALL NIGHT. Being next to such a noisy street with constant traffic, construction, and sirens they really need to invest in better windows. Kudos for the clean, well-stocked rooms and responding to guests' request. It's also a stone throw from Fulton station so convenient to get around. But I'll never stay at this place again because I need to be able sleep to survive.

This place is basically a glorified hostel. Not worth the money at all. I arrived after a long cross country flight, wasn’t provided any information about check in until I got here and was handed a slip of paper but someone who didn’t even work for sonder at the front desk. I didn’t realize there are no humans on site everything is virtual, spent 30 minutes in the lobby checking in on my own then when I finally got my room code went upstairs to my room only to find the code wasn’t working. Had to call the 24/7 hotline was put in hold and had to wait another 30 minutes to get it resolved. Also everything in room is incredibly cheap and poorly cleaned. The bedding literally feels like sandpaper. NEVER AGAIN, no where near comparable to a hotel.

I can’t fault Sonder City Hall. It’s been a great experience. The rooms have been perfect and the bed is super comfy. I’ve been really impressed with the front desk especially Anita, she has gone above and beyond and we have really appreciated her efforts to help us. We will definitely stay here again and encourage family and friends to stay at Sonder City Hall. Thanks Anita and team. Cheers Paul

From now on, I can only stay at Sonders. Everything was wonderful. From being able to leave luggage, from the location, easy access to building before check in, rooftop. This by far was our best travel experience.

Originally I was staying at the flatiron location but had an issue with the shower. Luckily sonder concierge was able to rebook me within 24 hours at this location instead at no additional charge. The Customer service is really top notch. The location of this sonder is excellent - super close to Fulton center where you can catch all the subways. Super close to the Brooklyn bridge if you wanna walk over and watch the sun set behind the Statue of Liberty. The suite was a one bedroom with living room. AC worked great. Sheets and towels clean. I didn’t use the laundry but was nice to see it is free and they provide the detergent. The rooftop is stunning. Beautiful landscaping! If you’re staying here I recommend the Japanese curry take out place across the street! Super yummy chain from Japan

We had a wonderful stay at the Sonder City Hall Park. The staff was so warm and kind and really made us feel very at home during the weeks we spend here. Being able to do Laundry and make our own breakfast in the morning was so nice. With the Fulton street subway entrance downstairs it’s so easy to explore the city.

Our first time at Sonder, and probably won't be the last. The experience was amazing. The rooms was extremely spacious compared to anything else I saw in Manhattan, the price was comparable to much worse alternatives. Literally the only complaint I had during check-in is that we couldn't find salt/pepper in the room. The shower is great, the water flow is very strong, and everything is well thought of. The entire apartment is very well equipped, great kitchenette with quality kitchenware and everything was pristine clean and in very good condition. The bed was a delight, the overall sleeping experience was great. The TV was really simple to connect and stream to. The channels were also good. In the few cases we talked to the staff they were very helpful and we really appreciate their help. The waiting room with lockers is a great idea. It really feels like the hotel was designed with real people in mind. The location is awesome, right above many subway lines and near many restaurants and shops. The rooftop is a great place to get some views of the city and eat take-out. Overall a 10/10 experience, highly recommended.

Really great stay at Sonder City Hall. The studio was really spacious for 4 persons with really great views and the roof top was a gem! The place is nicely decorated and everything is there to ensure a good stay (the laundry room/lockers is great and has all the refill you need (coffee, tea, soap, etc) The window shades are not blackout though and it can be a bit noisy at time (it’s New York so it didn’t bother us too much). The main negative point I would say is the sofa bed: it is unbelievably uncomfortable, the mattress so thin you can feel all the springs and the noise is quite frankly horrible (we had to wear ear plugs).

Very nice hotel in very good location. It is still quite new so has a very good standard (which is not a given in NY!) worth the money. The staff is friendly, most of the things can be arranged via the app, things that you need are mostly in common area for easy use. There is a beautiful rooftop to enjoy. On the lower side, We couldn’t unfortunately arrange the late check out and for me the unbearable was the urine smell just outside of the hotel.

Our stay at City Hall Park was fabulous. The room was spacious, clean and super comfortable. The king bed was luxurious. The sonder was super close to the metro and we could take the subway everywhere. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time here! The kitchen was full with a really good equipment! The bath was great and the best part was the bedroom with huge and comfortable bed and also nice closet room. Great location, almost every metro line in 1 min walk. Highly recommended!!!

We had a great 2 week stay here. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. A shout out to Robbie and Lavonne in particular. Trouble shooting with printer hook up, getting settled, help with luggage, very pleasant. Anything we needed from the App concierge was quickly taken care of. Laundry was very convenient to use in building.

Convenient to World Trade Center Memorial, Eataly, subway, and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. Spacious apartment with all you need. Subway is so close and it is easy to get to multiple parts of manhattan and over to Brooklyn for dinners and shopping. Could use a few more lamps but that doesn’t take away from the comfort of the place. Common areas are super clean and well kept and the laundry is a great amenity. Would definitely stay again.

Incredibly comfortable & convenient. The location is great. Close to everything! Huge apartment (for NYC standards). It had a 24 hour real & virtual concierge. I extended my stay for one extra day. Full kitchen with 2 gas stoves, microwave and dishwasher. I requested a late checkout which was denied (only bummer) . I will definitely stay at this exact Sonder when I return to NYC and I will discover other Sonder properties around the world. The convenience of using the phone to book the stay, to chat with a concierge for ANYTHING, the beautiful, clean apartment, the amazing location, everything was extremely convenient. Even the use of the iPhone as a key was a great touch. As a World traveler, I highly recommend it! BTW, I stayed in apartment 159, top floor with my 2 boys (10 & 12). It was an unforgettable stay, thanks in big part to Sonder.
