The
interior
looked
wonderful,
with
a
distinctive,
luxurious
style,
fireplaces,
in
a
new
high-end
hotel,
but
that
is
as
far
as
the
'love
affair'
went.
This
might
be
good
for
groups,
but
was
not
good
for
my
spouse
and
I,
since
the
the
music
was
a
too
loud
and
the
service
was
poor.
We
left
shortly
after
arriving,
cancelling
our
order
of
crudite,
finishing
our
drinks,
then
heading
around
the
corner
for
a
meal
at
Marconi's.
The
good:
-
Gorgeous
interior,
with
distinctive
international
flavor.
-
The
proseccos
we
ordered
were
very
tasty.
-
The
hotel
staff,
doormen
and
concierges
were
helpful
The
gripes:
-
While
I
was
waiting
for
my
wife,
I
noticed
several
rough
edges,
outlet
cover
on
the
floor
that
did
not
close,
a
Macy's
box
on
the
counter,
and
iPad
plugged
into
the
wall,
which
made
this
gorgeous
environment
less
appealing.
-
When
I
asked
if
I
should
get
our
own
drinks,
I
was
told
by
a
concierge
that
someone
would
come
out.
Five
minutes
later,
no
one
came,
so
I
walked
up
to
the
bar
for
menus.
She
apologized
as
the
bartender
had
only
been
working
with
them
for
two
(2)
days.
-
After
sitting,
and
the
bartender
came
over,
we
asked
what
the
white
wine
on
the
menu
was
-
there
was
only
one
-
a
name
we
did
not
know,
but
neither
did
he.
