Lovely park with an AstroTurf track, public bathrooms, lawns, sports facilities and picnic tables. Nice views of Brooklyn and the East River. A great place for a morning workout in busy New York.

The track is open again! (10/17) And it looks and feels great. Very bouncy, won't flood anymore, great field, and the new fountains are much improved. Very happy to see it's return.

I really liked running along the East River and completing my workout at this track. It's a beautiful outdoor setting. The track is a quality, quarter-mile, cushioned surface. I love that there are people of all ages and abilities exercising here. Water fountains are working. There are viewing stands. A section in the corner has work out area where you can do some basic strength training.

I'm a professional runner and love running at this track, maybe because I expected a track in Manhattan to be pretty bad but this track seems to be rarely busy and with friendly people and nice views, construction around us a bit annoying but that's new york

Great 400m track right by the East River, there are even water fountains by the track. Just wish it was more accessible by subway.

Love taking my dog here. They are in the middle of raising the park so it may be messed up at the moment. Hopefully the next version will be even better.

Little difficult to get to and, as of 2023.04.19, thet3 is some heavier construction nearby. But other than that it's a nice field with bleachers, turf, soccer goals with nets, long jump with sand pit. And it's right by the river so on nice days the track is an amazing place to run

Always go there to ruin my sprints. Not many ppl, which is a plus, and if you live in fidi like I do, it's only 20 minutes bike ride.. perfect warmup and cool-off routine

Very nice walkway and view of the East River. Good for walking. jogging and bike riding. Will be much better when extended below the Williamsburg bridge.

Needs an urgent renovation. They are already working. The sidewalk at the electric plant, after Avenue C is ver narrow, scary. Then your have a nice park, but only for around 10 blocks.

Beautiful view of the river and well used picnic and ball fields. Many families use the area for picnics and birthday parties. There are restrooms maintained by the city parks department.

One of my favorite parks of NYC! One of the few places that offer an outdoor track. Track is well kept and offers all types of runners to get some miles in.

Track is great. Abundant bathrooms. Plus, most of the runners know to respect the faster runners in the inside lane. Great view and no major damage to the track itself.

Nothing special, just your average 400 meter track. An average view surrounded by a fast paced city. Yet it grows on you. The bonds you make with each lap you complete and the chase of making each turn a second faster, leads to the eventual reward created by your dedication of pain and tireless love. Whether it's the run or the chase that you prefer, or what lies after the finish line, you are the spark that has to happen when the first step is taken.
