4 years ago, I would have given this hotel 5 stars. The service and amenities have declined dramatically since. No room service, even if you ask. We stayed 6 nights, and *finally* got new towels on day 4, after asking every single day.

My brother had his baby shower here during Brunch. I don't think we heard a single person not say how good the food was, there were A LOT of options, and having been here before multiple times, I'm very pleased that the brunch options change with the seasons. Never boring you with the same food from years ago, yet constantly delicious.

I never stayed in a hotel but, through many years, celebrated many family birthdays and anniversaries at brunch at the Simsbury Inn restaurant. So it was another celebration on 08/06/2023. Even though the menu seems pretty much the same as before, the quality of food was not up to par. Some food was tasty like lox, cold shrimps, some was not at all. The service was so so, the waitress would check with us rarely. I had to ask multiple times for things that should've been provided without me asking for it. Live music this time was too loud (it was a different piano player) and not professionally played, according to some family members who are musicians. We would be better off with the radio station music at acceptable sound level. Very disappointing.

What a lovely inn! Went for a weekend trip for my birthday and loved it! Quaint with historic touches, great flatscreen TV and 4 post very comfy bed. Shower had great pressure. Loved the basic breakfast that's included. Would stay here again for sure!

Great happy hour bar. Beautiful location in a quintessential small Ct town. Close to the city and great place to stay if your going to be Leaf Hopping in the fall!

We utilized a wedding Room Block at The Simsbury Inn in October 2023 and they were FANTASTIC. We worked with Jeanine Mossey leading up to the wedding weekend, and she was extremely professional, prompt, and made the entire room block process so easy. Our guests raved about the cleanliness, service, and quality of The Simsbury Inn. We cannot recommend The Simsbury Inn enough!! Thank you so much for making our wedding weekend amazing!

Stayed here this past weekend the night of my wedding- rooms was great! I called a week ahead panicking because our accommodations elsewhere didn’t work out, and staff at the Simsbury Inn were able to find me a room even though they were fully booked on my wedding night! The breakfast was amazing- we can’t wait to come back and use the pool and jacuzzi!!

We got married across the street at The Riverview and hosted a hotel block at The Simsbury Inn. Although we had a small group of people the staff made us feel special, offering space for an after party is desired, champagne and a card on the wedding night, and making everything smooth even though we didn’t get married with them. Our only feedback is the inclusion of photos of the rooms to help plan better when booking and setting up a room block, especially with the suites! We were surprised (perhaps by our own omission) to find only 1 bed in the 2 room suite. Everything else was great. Thanks!

Classy smothered in finesse. This venue is so smooth, it makes smoke look sharp. As an Event DJ, I visit a lot of venues. I love witnessing the respect Lenox & his team give to their Guests. If you’re looking for a statement piece of a venue for an event, look no further. Their Ballroom is spacious & can seat every guest on your list. Their patio is both outdoors & indoors with a lovely sunroom, keeping your Social hour classy. Once you’ve celebrated, be sure to book a room & enjoy every minute of it.

Very dated property. If you do stay there you need to make sure you ask to have your room cleaned each day….meaning the day of. You can’t ask the night before or when you checkin. Ensure you don’t leave something behind, they tell you when you call that they pitch anything right away. Stay in West Hartford at the Delamar you’ll love it.

Comfortable, accommodating, historic hotel. I’ve stayed here numerous times through the years on work trips. The staff is very friendly and always available. The rooms are nice and clean and provide all the necessary items. Complimentary breakfast items are extensive and always fresh.

Hey..we stopped at Twiggs! The service was poor at best! Laura the bartender was extremely off her game if she has a game! There was a wedding going on...maybe they should have planned for that..poor planning on their part! Can't even get water refills! Ordered a Flatbread with chicken...paid $8 more for 3 measly shreads of chicken! Seriously!! This was the 2nd time we have had an experience like this here. Just not worth the trip or trouble!

Did not stay overnight but was here during the day for a conference. I just had to take a moment to recognize the wonderful staff and facilities! I had to take my lunch on the go during the conference and they were very accommodating and quick to respond to my special requests. Also, the food was delicious. Thank you!!

I am rating the party rooms. They are beautiful and spacious. Service was wonderful. We had a great time. We did not stay in the sleeping rooms because there a bit pricey.

The hotel was quite nice, and the rooms are spacious and comfy and the beds are top notch - you won’t want to get up in the morning. The breakfast was lackluster. The desk staff was incredibly nice and reminded us - every time - of the indoor pool and hot tub. Would absolutely stay here again.

A very nice, comfortable, colonial-style hotel. Some features felt a little dated (not many USB ports for charging electronics in the room), but nothing to interfere with your stay, and everything was clean and well maintained. I definitely recommend it to people staying in the area.
