I
recently
had
the
pleasure
of
spending
a
weekend
at
the
Devonfield
Inn,
and
I
have
to
say
it
was
an
absolutely
incredible
experience.
From
the
moment
we
arrived,
my
wife
and
I
were
blown
away
by
the
warmth
and
hospitality
of
the
innkeepers,
Doug
and
Jim.
Doug
was
incredibly
helpful,
providing
us
with
a
list
of
his
personal
favorites
in
the
area
every
morning,
which
allowed
us
to
discover
some
truly
amazing
places
that
we
would
never
have
found
on
our
own.
His
local
knowledge
and
passion
for
the
area
really
shone
through,
and
it
made
our
trip
all
the
more
special.
And
speaking
of
special,
Jim's
baking
is
truly
out
of
this
world.
Every
morning
we
were
treated
to
a
different,
delicious
cake
that
he
had
made
from
scratch.
And
let
me
tell
you,
these
weren't
your
run-of-the-mill
cakes
-
they
were
truly
works
of
art.
Breakfast
at
the
inn
was
an
absolute
showstopper,
with
each
dish
expertly
prepared
and
presented.
But
what
really
sets
the
Devonfield
Inn
apart
is
its
rich
history.
The
inn
is
housed
in
a
beautiful,
historic
mansion
that
once
hosted
the
Netherlands'
Queen
Wilhelmina.
The
building
is
impeccably
maintained
and
beautifully
decorated,
and
it
really
feels
like
you're
stepping
back
in
time
to
a
more
elegant
era.
All
in
all,
my
wife
and
I
had
an
unforgettable
weekend
at
the
Devonfield
Inn.
The
attention
to
detail,
warm
hospitality,
and
beautiful
surroundings
all
combined
to
create
an
experience
that
we'll
remember
for
years
to
come.
I
can't
recommend
this
place
highly
enough
-
it's
truly
a
gem.
