The place is located in great area. The owner is very nice and helpful. It has professional people offering variety of cosmetic needs, such as laser hair removal, salons, permanent makeup, etc,. I highly recommend this place.

Interesting setup: a group of small independent hair salons in the basement of high rise. Clean shared bathrooms. I’ve been getting my haircut by Della at Expectations & Innovations (Suite 8) for decades.

Went to see Hair by Tinika Sadiku and I loved how my hair turned out! She took care of my hair and gave me exactly what I asked for! I will definitely being using her services when I get married!

I go to art nails up and I see Sandra. Great location. Easy to get to and only a few doors from pio pio so I can get chicken after. Lots of small salon businesses in one location. Stairs going into a basement though I think they have a way to access if handicapped. A little expensive however worth it and by NYC standards reasonable.these are some of the nails I’ve had done there

It's a unique space that houses several studios where individuals offer beauty services like hair coloring, laser hair removal, barbering, etc. Great place for soemone looking to get their beauty on, OR for someone who is licensed and needs a place to service their clients.

I found my girl Sona! She’s here at Sola Salons and her threading and waxing services are top notch. Sona’s Beauty Boutique. You will always leave satisfied. The space is intimate so you get even more of that special treatment as when she was in a larger salon.

Very disappointed with my hair color done by Juan Jaramillo. I asked for salt & pepper hair color and received white hair. Juan suggested I come back in two weeks to fix the problem but when I reached out to schedule an appointment he basically rambled on how’s he right and I’m wrong, deal with it. I spent over $500 and Juan did nothing to fix my hair. I 100% do not recommend Juan. If possible, please look elsewhere for your hair color needs.

I’m so happy that my eyebrow guru Sona is back in business at Sola Salon after her 13 years at Unique Threading in Chelsea. I have been seeing Sona for threading services for 7 years, she also offers facials, waxing and is the best in the business. I routinely receive compliments on my beautiful eyebrows and I will never go to anyone else. Her new space at Sola is clean and zen and I couldn’t recommend it more. Congrats Sona!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Sola Salon Studios, a shared space that lacked professionalism. My stylist, Maria, washed my hair with cold water and then asked me to wait in a cold hallway for a supposed quick 6-minute wax she was giving another client. Instead, she spent nearly an hour talking to the client, ignoring my discomfort. When I asked to wait indoors due to the cold, she told me she was too busy. Frustrated and cold, I left with wet hair and sought help at a neighboring salon. The environment here is unprofessional with dirty towels and annoying construction noise from above. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

If you're looking for someone passionate about her craft in eyebrow shaping and threading, then look no further. Sona is your girl. I've been seeing Sona for a while now and honestly, my eyebrows have never looked better. I never leave Sona feeling upset because she listens to her clients' requests!! I'm always happy with the result after each visit. I'm working on making my eyebrows more symmetrical and Sona always gives me good tips on how I can achieve that in between my appointments. Her space is private and quiet. She is also one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. You'll have that undivided attention to detail you need that you won't find in any other salon. I only trust Sona for my eyebrow and threading needs!
