Core Principles is a great exercise program for individuals 50+ . The staff are wonderful and the exercise program can be challenging yet you can go at your own pace. Emily does a great job making sure that you are using good form and is always right there if you need any help. I would highly recommend giving it a try if you are looking for an exercise routine in a small / supportive and most importantly non- judge mental environment. If you have been putting off trying a program give Core Principles a try as it’s a wonderful place that will offer you lots of support with your health and fitness goals.

Let's face it, most people work out because it is good for you but not because it is fun. That isn't the case with Core Principles. The staff makes every class enjoyable while perfecting participants' technique and making sure that with each class you see progress towards your goals. In the three months that I have been working out there I have lost 10 pounds, I am so much stronger and have had made new friends with my fellow participants and the incredible trainers. And if you are real lucky Julia will even sing for you in her magnificent voice.

I have done yoga, pilates, aerobics, cardio and so many other styles of exercise. Of all the various exercise programs that I have tried Core Principles is the most effective by far. I work out twice a week with their incredible trainers who make the workout fun, friendly and very personalized. The groups are small. The trainers are basically one on one so there is no chance to get injured by doing the exercises the wrong way. The programs change every 5 weeks and vary from day to day so your muscles don't get bored doing the same workout all the time. Although I have only been at Core Principles for two months I am stronger and more limber. The program works and it is fun---definitely 5 stars.

I needed to get back to exercise after an extended Covid hiatus in order to prepare for knee surgery. The gentle and personalized group training helped immensely. I never felt stiff or sore yet I am getting back to pre-Covid strength and stamina after just six weeks. I love the small group approach and the structure of the workouts. I also love the friendly, supportive and knowledgeable staff. After surgery I intend to return. Good job CP! And thanks a million.

Core Principles has been a great gym to belong to. I had been working out on my own for years but this has been a great improvement. My flexibility and core strength have gotten so much better and the atmosphere is awesome - great instructors and the others working out are so down to earth. What is really great is that you are encouraged to keep pushing yourself harder, but it is totally at your own pace. I highly recommend!!

I’m so glad I found Core Principles in Stamford CT, and I will tell you why: Recently I moved from the Netherlands to Stamford. Therefore, I quitted my weekly Pilatus and Yoga work outs. Because I find it very hard to do a workout on my own, I’m so happy with the people of Core. First, I met Haylin and he introduced me to their way of workouts. In the small group training Emily is in charge and she is doing a great job. When necessary, she encourage you, or adjust/correct your posture so you’re sure you’re doing the right thing. When I had an issue with my shoulder, they all were so nice and helpful and caring. Emily is always s interested in me and when necessary easily capable to adjust the exercises. The core community is really friendly and I always feel at home there. I’m not even thinking about going to a regular gym; I don’t want to get lost with all the difficult equipment.

I have suffered from back pain for many years, but my doctors told me that i was not a good candidate for back surgery. I have tried many other methods as well, nothing has worked at all. I'm recently retired. and was really discouraged about potentially not being able to enjoy this new chapter in my life. That all changed when i joined Core Principles. within the first two sessions, I had already felt some relief. Now, I have no back pain, and I am able to enjoy golfing! My doctors told me I needed to strengthen my core, and I already feel a lot more strength in my abs. Core Principles was different from the other solutions that I tried. It's highly personalized, I get lots of attention from experienced coaches, and the programs are well crafted to help you get the most out of your time here. I workout with them twice a week. I feel amazing that i have come so far in only a few months, and I'm really looking forward to enjoying my retirement with this this newfound strength. Thank you so much CP!

When I first heard about Core Principles I was skeptical. I had worked with trainers before and didn’t get into it or I would workout alone and hurt myself. When I met Haylin and the team at CP, I was excited to learn that someone had a designed a fitness people for people over 50 who needed coaching and training. In a few months I have gained strength, toned muscles, learned to push myself and enjoyed working out for the first time in my life. Chronic pains have disappeared and I found something else fun to do with my wife. Haylin, Emily and Julia are amazing at creating a non-judgmental, fun and safe environment to help me be a better version of myself. With their help I’ve gone from hating workouts to understanding how important training is to the quality of my life. I have not done anything in my life that I find more valuable. 🙏🙏🙏

Core Principles is the “Cheers” of gyms — “everybody knows your name and they’re always glad you came.” CP offers a supportive and attentive small-group training experience in an immaculately-maintained facility. CP’s trainers are truly your partners in achieving your goals and work hard to promote a sense of community. In just over a month’s time, I have established a renewed dedication to a fitness routine. And I actually look forward to my sessions, especially at the end of a busy work day. CP embraces and empowers you.
