We moved here from out here of state and were very nervous about finding the right place, but right from the start, Erin was super friendly and down-to-earth. We toured A LOT of apartment complexes in Essex county and none of them left the impression that Erin and Montclair Arms left on us. She remembered our names and made us feel like family. The building has the vintage feel due to being an older building, but has been really well maintained by the staff and they are constantly improving things. The building is very friendly and I could not recommend this more highly.

I am a 23 year resident of Montclair after selling my home I reached out to JCM Living. Erin Green the property manager responded promptly and met me at the building. This pre war apartment building is a rare find. High ceilings hard wood floors good bathrooms. The kind of apartment you can’t get near at any reasonable price in NYC. It is walkable, close to everything, a prime location. The laundry facilities were just updated with new machines and pleasant to use. Erin Green facilitated the process and paperwork efficiently. She is warm, helpful and a people person who connects with her clients. In the 18 months I have been a resident, Erin Green the property manager has been responsive and kept me and the community well informed. An issue with a dishwasher was promptly addressed and resolved to more than my satisfaction. I love my home here and love the formal dining room my apartment features. I haven’t rented for 23 years and I am having the best possible rental experience. I love that heat is included in the rent and this adds to the value. My apartment is well heated in the winter. The apartment is comfortable and beautiful. Thank you Erin Green for being everything I needed in this transaction and making a stressful move and transition pleasant.

Erin helped us be confident in our choice to move here. We were comfortable right when we met her and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready for us when we moved in (especially on moving day!) We love Montclair Arms and feel very safe here. The apartments are lovely and the neighborhood is fantastic! Erin is so helpful!!

My sister and I recently applied for a beautiful 2BR 1 bath apartment at Montclair Arms. The service provided by Beatrice was exceptional!! She was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs and was a joy to work with! The process was fast and seamless because Beatrice was extremely accommodating and very knowledgeable. Beatrice was able to work her magic and secure us the apartment that we really wanted. We are so grateful to Beatrice for all her hard work!!

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had in a rental. Erin held my hand throughout the rental process and was extremely communicative and supportive every step of the way. Move-in day was a breeze and Erin and the rest of the crew made sure everything was set including when I had a challenge with Verizon which they efficiently solved. The building is well-maintained, David the super has been great so far, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to rent here.

I have lived here for over 5 years, under a prior firm that did little but bare bones service/maintenance . Since the building's recent acquisition by JCM, marked improvement. Erin-part of the management team, has been highly responsive to questions/issues that have periodically arisen during her tenure, managing the property. Overall maintenance level of the building , has vastly improved under Erin's helm. Great place to live....

I called this place more than 6 times in 3 days and sent several messages trying to get information regarding leasing an apartment for our move out of state. Unbelievable that we have received no response, I can just imagine how living there would be needing maintenance. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had trying to find a new home for a job relocation! My husband and I have decided to go through corporate regarding the nonexistent communication and unseen follow up from Montclair.

Erin helped us every step of the way, from showing us the apartment to following up and guiding us through getting our dream space!
