I am thrilled that one of my friends told me about Keys to Fun and the 10- week "Introduction to Music Making" course it offers! We are more than 1/2 way through, and I have to say I love, love, love it! John, who is extremely personable and patient, is a terrific teacher. His lessons are very clear and easy to understand with each week's lesson building on what we have previously learned. The "homework" (ie. song) that we are given each week affords us the opportunity to practice the concepts taught. John has also been quite generous with his time beyond the regularly scheduled class time. Each of us has been given one-on-one time to go over any individual questions or problems we may be having with our practice or the instrument on which we have been practicing. I would definitely recommend Keys to Fun to anyone who is interested in learning how to play the piano, keyboard, or organ. I just got home a little while ago from this week's lesson and have already practiced. I cannot wait to return next week. Thank you, John. You sure do make learning fun!

I'm enjoying this piano class, it's helping me to get back to playing piano after a long hiatus. I also can get help with my Yamaha keyboard. Private lessons are also available. John is an excellent teacher. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely the best music teacher I've ever had! Only been playing the keyboard for a few years. Not easy when you have zero background experience in music. And you start learning as a senior! Group lessons are fantastic and extra support is always offered. There are review videos to watch which are very informative. I travel to the studio from Connecticut once a week and the trip is well worth it! I would recommend this program to anyone who wishes to enjoy music even if they've never tried before. I have also purchased a Yamaha piano from John and it was a pleasure doing business with him. It was easy for me, but I'm afraid not so much for him because he had to remove my older organ which was very heavy and awkward to move. That was so much appreciated! So again, I can't say enough about this wonderful program and it's teacher!

I started taking lessons from John at Keys to Fun around 5 months ago. I can’t describe the joy that I have found. John is a wonderful teacher , patient and kind. The lessons are fun and easy to learn. At the end of the first 10 week session we were playing 7 songs with 2 hands. I continue to take the lessons and play everyday .My family and friends enjoy listening to me play. John is also teaching my 7 year old granddaughter and I am amazed at how quickly she is learning to play. After the 2nd lesson she is already playing with both hands and reading the notes. I highly recommend anyone who has said they would like to play to try it , you will not regret it ! It truly has made my life better

I have been taking classes at Keys to Fun for four years. Its the best! I never thought I would be able to play an instrument, but with John Spencer's excellent teaching I have learned to play 154 songs. He is extremely patient and makes class fun. Have a wide selection of organs/pianos and keyboards and John - the owner - is always willing to let you try different models until you are completely happy with your choice. Always ready to help you (if required) to make the best selection for your needs. They also offer music lessons for all ages and here take particular care to make learning a really fun, easy and enjoyable experience. Many people make firm new friends when taking their group lessons. If you are thinking of buying an instrument or learning to play this is the place to visit. Highly recommended would give them 10 stars but you can only select 5!
