We booked the Michael Hart Band (via Hank Lane) and man, what a night. As notes and videos from our friends pour in, they only serve to confirm over and over again how the band KILLED IT at our wedding. I know there are so many cliches and superlatives we could use to further explain it, but it doesn’t feel like they would do justice to the performance. I completely sweat through my first shirt from dancing so much (thankfully someone suggested I bring 2). The entire band and crew were consummate professionals. They hit all the key requests we laid out in advance and crafted a master playlist that my wife and I loved, not to mention staying away from our rather extensive "do not play" list. The fact that our guests wanted an encore probably sums it up best!

We hired the Pete Sounders band for a wedding. Superb band very professional the sound was great and they had the whole dance floor jumping. Great band would highly recommend them for your next event

I personally used Hank Lane bands twice(2013&2019). The bands were off the charts great and the dance floors were full all night. I went to a wedding this past weekend at Oheka castle and the Hank Lane band was terrible. They were about a quarter of a beat off on every song. The dance floor was mostly empty throughout the night. Hopefully this is not the quality of entertainment Hank Lane is now offering.

We hired Bobby Atiko from Hank Lane Music to perform at our wedding at Oheka Castle and they not only rocked the house but everyone raved about the band for months after we got married. From our wedding a couple of our friends that got married in subsequent years hired the same band since they saw how great they were at our wedding. Most recently we hired Brooklyn Sound, a band that part of the Hank Lane umbrella for my wife’s 40th birthday party at Hendricks Tavern and they were fantastic. There is a reason why they are considered the top echelon of private bands in the tri-state area.

They were great at my wedding on Friday! I definitely recommend them! Ernest kept checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. He kept everyone one the dance floor. The whole band was terrific. Thank you so much for a wonderful wedding! If Ernest is booked, my friend used Downtown Band who was also fantastic. I would never use anyone but Hank Lane for a wedding.

Our experience with Hank Lane Music was incredible! ALl of their staff was great to work with! They were so helpful and knowledgeable and it made the process so easy for us. The band leader for our wedding, Pete Saunders was incredibly sweet and amazing to work with. The night of our wedding, band singers came out and sang and danced with the crowd! It was so great to see such enthusiasm from professionals who do this on a daily basis! Pete knew just what we wanted to hear and played each song incredibly well. Every song was better than the last. We received so many compliments from our guests that we wanted to throw another party just to hear the band play again! They took time to learn songs we requested and played them so well! We could not have asked for a better band and experience. These guys truly are the best in the business! From a letter we sent to the band afterwards: "Pete, you were so sweet and helpful in the last couple of weeks!! Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! You were truly amazing and we were so lucky to have you at our wedding!!!"
