I was here i week ago for the show of Cathrine Russell. I really like this club, because is pretty new, with an amazing acustics! The food aligned with all the others jazz club, so nothing of special, but the cocktail was good! The staff is all friendly and delightful. I think that the price for entrance and food is cheaper instead others more historic and famous NYC club, but for me the Dizzy’s Club is really better….also because you have a great view on Central Park, instead of the others, where normally you will not find any windows!

We went there at night, pretty late, after 11pm. Prices were reasonable and they gave us a table not far from the stage. Enjoyed the jazz music from various musicians. Best late night activity in NYC. Since subway service in NYC operates 24 hours, so we took subway train back to the bnb without problem.

This club is not cheap but... the acoustics are simply amazing, the vibe is great and classy and the performances top of the notch!!! Only minor downside is the food: very average and not healthy options available: this is the only reason I am giving a 4 stars, had the food been good this would be a 5 stars review. Recommended

We came here for our anniversary. The music was great! The food & drinks was okay. I'm a little disappointed that when you pay for your table it tells you to go straight upstairs and wait to be seated. We had to stand on the line across from the Elevators. Minutes before we was able to go upstairs the guard allowed a lady and her companion to cut the line. That's not fair to those that was there before 9:00pm And my name wasn't on the list even though I bought my seats a month in advance. So I had to show proof I paid.

Great music! BUT… this whole club feels like a badly organised college party. While in line to get in, this impolite woman yells to everyone to wear their mask. But once you get into the club, there’s no masks anymore. While we were intensively listening to this great concert, one of the waiters yells into our ears, trying to sell us more drinks. While all of our glasses were still at least half full! During the last 15 minutes of the concert they already bring you the check. This place has no vibe, no hang. The concert is over, and immediately they start to clean up the club. While all of us felt like drinking another drink after the gig… SAD! They could be more friendly and they could make some more money by staying open a little longer. Well, at least the music was great… Don’t go for anything else than the concert.

This was the highlight of my trip to New York. I came here once with my friend, and then again with my other friends. It was so good, the appetizers were extremely tasty, and the jazz was incredible. The city views through the windows are so nice, and once I met a guy here who goes to Julliard who added me on Venmo!

Wonderful service all around, from greeters, bartenders, cooks, and our server Quenton. Additional to the phenomenal live music, and NYC views. Tonight was so memorable and romantic! Thank you dizzy! The musicians you had playing tonight were amazing!!! Even if your not into Jazz, this place will have you coming back. The intimate atmosphere was fantastic and one not to miss. Definitely will be back soon!

What an amazing venue. Stunning views with great music! The staff was very professional and kind and were always willing to help without being pushy. The food was pretty good but you really aren'tcoming for the food. Our party had the gumbo as a main course, the fried chicken, and the grilled branzino and were worth having again.

Dizzy’s club is the Lincoln-Centered-affiliated space that hosts jazz ensembles and musicians. The venue is located in the Deutsche Bank building (at Columbus circle) but then take the elevator to the fifth floor. The performance space is like a restaurant/bar with food and drinks served before the show (called “a set”) and service remains available during the music. The club has a beautiful view of Central Park and part of the Manhattan skyline… and the music will almost always be spectacular.

Had a good time at the club over Labor Day 2023. Very cool, intimate setting for jazz. Attentive and friendly service. Although we didn't have food, the cocktails we had were very good. My only complaint is that the concert was only one set, just a little over an hour. For the high admission fee, I would have preferred a longer set. Or lower the price accordingly.

Just amazing. Beautifully designed club, with a view on Central Park and Manhattan skyline behind the stage (one can think it’s a screen behind, not the actual view). The jazz performance was of the highest quality, with great sound. Cocktails are close to perfection. Mostly classics with a little twist and perfectly made. The food is also excellent. Came in just on time, but the performance started 2 minutes earlier, so it’s better to come 10-15 minutes in advance.

Full house (Five stars). Named after the jazz legend "Dizzy Gillespie" this venue has what you need for a good jazz night. High rising location, amazing view of Columbus circle and central park and many seating options. The staff are super friendly and service is excellent. A hot spot for jazz fans like myself. Little pricey and you need to book in advance, tickets go fast.

As one of the best jazz clubs in the city, Dizzy’s is absolutely fantastic. The food and ambiance are very good. The music is truly incredible, some of the best live jazz in New York. I suggest you come early to get a better table. It’s first come first serve.

Nice club with great atmosphere but really disorganized. We arrived in good time for the 9.30 show, the doors are supposed to open at 9.00. Although first in the queue we were finally admitted at 9.20 only to find there were enough people already in the club such that the seats we had paid for were taken. After complaining about the situation we were able to sit in the correct seats. It's a bit of a shambles.

Dizzy's is a must see. I go every time I travel to NYC and recommend it to anyone in town. It's a more intimate jazz experience with different performances depending on the night - definitely worth reserving in advance. There's a great view and it's not crowded or loud, so it's an incredible immersive experience. Glad they were able to reopen after a break from live performances during COVID.

Incredibly stunning venue! The skyline views are just wow! We watched Bokani Dyer and his group - they were amazing! Very much enjoyed the atmosphere, seating and cocktails! Ordered jambola - it was fantastic! Highly recommend for a jazz show and for food and drinks!

It was my first time at Dizzy's and I will absolutely be back! The music is phenomenal!!! I went to the first show of the evening with doors opening at 6pm. I recommend arriving near door open time vs the show start time to get a table closer to the stage. You also are better off finishing your dinner before the show starts anyways as you will likely be entranced by the performers. The food was good, but not great. The best thing we ordered was the mac and cheese bites with the tomato soup. There's also an off menu drink called the category 5 that's a delicious passion fruit concoction. Dizzy's is perfect for a regular night out and special occasions!

Intimate, modern space that’s 50% old-skool jazz dive and 50% municipal high school on top of a shopping centre. Direct access from the shopping centre is ok, straight to the 5th floor, then the club is like a modern cinema at the entrance and then opens into a cosy room (seating about 200) with a small stage on front of windows with great views over the park and Columbus circle. The approach is to eat and drink for an hour and then enjoy the act. If you’re at or close to the bar then you have the advantage of high seats and a great view, with the disadvantage of service clatter and the noisiest dishwasher in Manhattan! However as an intimate and accessible venue it would be hard to beat. Oh and prices are reasonable too.

We visited this place over Memorial Day weekend. We saw some really good jazz musicians preform. The music was great the food and the drinks were perfect. You have to call and make a reservation. Also make sure to arrive early to you reservation because even though you made a reservation you still have to wait in line. And if you’re one of the first ones in line and made a reservation at the bar you get your pick of the bar seats. Great place, great food, good service. I would recommend to anyone looking for something to do in the city with some good music.

The musicians were good. Came here for my birthday and I have a vague feeling that I have actually been here couple of years back. There was a cover of $40 per person, which was definitely fine. Additionally, however, you had to spend at least $21 per person, which would be ok, but the selection was not great, plus there was no warning on when it was the last call to order, so we ended up paying for nothing. The view is pretty. I would recommend getting there on an earlier side to get a better table (also tables are sometimes shared). Too few toilets.

Was here over the weekend for an amazing show- The Monk Project and it was great! The space is intimate and dimly lit with beautiful views of the city/ Central Park. The stage is center with really good acoustics. The show was a 10! The service was a 4, maybe 5. Drinks took a while which was ok but then the server says the BAR lost the ticket so we never received our last drinks. The banana bread was burned and dry. A server that is in tune with his clients would have noticed immediately rather than me cancelling the request 20 minutes later. Go for the show/ music.

Nice! We saw Carlos Henriquez Nonet and they were superb. The club itself is small and the cocktails were good, at NYC prices. Had we known there would be a line, a wait downstairs at the elevators, a wait upstairs to enter.... all with no, zero, information, signage, service of any kind... we would have arrived earlier. Really, if you are going for the first time you are truly left on your own to figure it all out. Be prepared for rude security guards, no information and ambivalent service until you actually enter the club.

We visited on 28th November 2023 & saw a fantastic quartet of Romero Lubambo, Reuben Rogers, Helio Alves & Edu Ribeiro. They were amazing. Different from any Jazz I had heard before. The staff were lovely, the cheesecake was delicious & the Gingerbread cider was something I had never tried before.

What a wonderful time. Not only was the music and atmosphere great, but the staff made the experience amazing. We booked a large party and the email communication was accommodating and great. Even though we were late, they welcomed us with open arms. We were there for a wedding and the staff went to the ends of the earth to make the experience unforgettable for everyone, but especially the bride and groom. Food and drinks were great. We highly recommend Dizzy's and hope you have as magical a time as we all did.

I have visited Dizzy's three times. Overall, it has an elevated vibe, with awesome live jazz performances. Unfortunately, my high ratings do not extend beyond the music and atmosphere. Service is slow and somewhat lackluster. The food and drinks are okay but in my opinion, not worth the price tag. The food menu is limited to a few items. I'd recommend going for the music alone. I can't recall if there is a per-person minimum, but if there is, I'd suggest spending just that amount and grabbing food/drinks elsewhere.

Such a lovely soundscape. Food was delish. Ambiance was totally a vibe, in itself. Felt like I was on hollow ground w/all the prolific photographs x storytellings of generations before. Such a range of caliber. Bonus: It filled my heart’s cup, as a birthday treat. What a gem!

I'm having an AMAZING experience here! My drinks are FANTASTIC and the shrimp and sausage andouille & banana bread by Chef Elroy was DIVINE. The service with Brandon was absolutely PHENOMENAL. It's definitely an all in all great experience here at Dizzys.

Thank you for this exceptional space, vivid, open, fresh, inviting. Every seat in the house offers a good viewing and listening experience facing the stage. Tables, bar and stools all available for patrons. Reservations recommended. Food and drinks good. Nice view over Dupont Circle. What a great evening!

The Club is great. You sit at your table and be served with a wide range of foods and drunk to choose from. Tonight, the jazz music was very extreme. You like or don't like it. Jazz is not my style of music, but I was intrigued by the1st band. The leader had written jazz music for strings. Each violin znd the one cello played their own separate parts and the leader played the saxophone. It all fitted in well. The effort of writing all the movements was a masterpiece. The second banc was different, with a organist, drums, 2 saxophonists and a trumpet. They started to play one piece shich lasted nearly one hour. We left , like others, before the end. Great first experience, for me .

Not a small cozy club, but definitely a pleasant venue with great views and absolutely world-class performers. The pricing of $45 + $20 minimum purchase per set of about an hour of music is a little annoying but apparently fairly standard. More pleasant venue than bay area's Yoshi's Oakland.
