Located at financial district area in NYC. It was a little difficult to find this place because I didn’t see the name of the restaurant on the building. I just guessed where it is based on the address on the building and follow the delicious smell 😁The pulled pork Benedict is delicious. It’s very lean (no fat at all), tender, juicy with BBQ sauce that’s sweet and a little tangy on sourdough bread. The portion is perfect. The avocado smash is healthy and delicious. You can add pouched egg and/or bacon. I tried matcha latte with pistachio milk for the first time. It’s actually pretty good. I usually like it with oat milk. They have all kinds of non dairy milk options. I love this breakfast place. I definitely go back when I’m in the area!

Overall good. Delicious food and great service. A bit overpriced for the quantity but still very good

I like the location with shades and breeze. They are friendly and considerable. Food was good! It’s one of the most popular places in that area. Reminds me of my life in Australia.

Great food! I loved the combination with mushrooms and pesto. I was expecting 2 pouched eggs instead of one, but that was me because I love eating eggs. After I finished eating, it was perfect quantity! My boyfriend had the second plate and it was also super tasty. The place itself is nice! We loved the experience 💛

A great spot to visit in NYC. As two Aussies craving a bit of home, this place was amazing! Stumbled across it on our travels and it truly has the Melbourne vibe. From the seating outdoors, meals (get the waffles!) and of course great coffee. Service was good and we definitely enjoyed our experience. 5/5.

We stopped here because it was super close to the Hotel we were staying at, the staff was excellent, super friendly. The food was delicious, and we ordered the mimosa pitcher, a must! We shared it (2-people) cheers! The only thing that was a no go was the hot chocolate.

This was our first breakfast/brunch while our trip to NY in the mid of January. Loved every piece we ate there!

Hole in the wall is one of my favorite places in nyc fro brunch however our experience in the fidi branch didn’t meet the expectations and wasn’t aligned with previous visits. First, I felt that the service was impatient (which is SO unlikely to them). They forgot to add avocado to one of the dishes so we had to remind them that. The poached eggs were over cooked so it wasn’t as good as usual (we didn’t send it back because service wasn’t welcoming). Good thing is that they have gluten free bread and they use oatly .

This was my 2nd time at Hole in the Wall. It’s a great casual brunch place especially on a sunny day. They have a good variety of options; I really like their lox salmon toast and the wild mushroom toast. We also enjoyed the blueberry smoothie. Not a big fan of the nutty espresso smoothie - it was too heavy for me. Try to get a seat outside if you can.

A terrific little spot for a delicious breakfast that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. This place was pretty small but the flavors were big and the portions were perfect for a quick weekday breakfast, the breakfast sandwich was amazing and tasted fresh and full of everything you wanted for a morning on the go. The espresso martini was a nice addition to our late, almost brunch time meal and the Benedict was made to absolute perfection, I highly recommend stopping by for that alone.

I was looking for a nice place to have a solo brunch. Came across this one on the google reviews, and it was so close to the hotel I was living in, so I walked there! Loved this place, great ambiance and perfect portion sizes. I had their waffles and peppermint tea! Loved them both, I might go back to try some their toasts and coffees next time!

We really wanted to try this place because it looked good online. We arrived when it was cold and rainy so outdoor seating wasn’t available which meant very few spots inside (not their fault) so we got on a waiting list and were told it would be a 30 min wait, it was much quicker than that! Super friendly staff Coffees were pretty good! I had a hot mocha and my husband had an espresso martini and he said it was different than normal ones but still good My food was okay (avocado toast) - lacked seasoning in my opinion. My husband loved his!

The friendly staff also took wonderful care of us. You can tell Hole in the Wall aims to sustain both body and spirit for Wall Streeters, tourists and residents alike. ☕️ It was amazing to find this peaceful neighborhood brunch spot amidst the rushing crowd.

A breakfast as diverse and vibrant as NYC itself. I had the kimchee scramble on toast and this one meal took me on a food journey I am still thinking about hours later. The food started out and I could feel the heat with an intense and bold flavor, but as I continued to eat the sweetness and salty flavors started to mingle in like a complex and unexpected symphony of flavor. Try this asap. You will not be disappointed.

The food was great ! super fast service, the staff nice but it is quiet stressful as they keep coming to your table every 5 seconds to check if you are done or not, so you´re not eating on your ease.

Heard about this place from a friend and finally came to check it out. It quite a wait until we got seated, even though there were a lot of seats inside. We got the BLAT and shrimp pasta, both of which I thought was okay but not amazing.

Haven’t been to Hole in the Wall in a while and stopped by today. Easy to say this is still my favorite brunch spot downtown. Amazing flat whites, treated ourselves to a Bloody Mary (perfect spice level) & mimosa and the food was on point. I recommend the chili scramble and pulled pork Benedict (this is a must try!!!). The whole team who helped us - Kat, Emma, Marisol and Gabby were super accommodating and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Great way to start a Sunday!!!

Amazing Aussie cafe in the Financial District. Really cute atmosphere with the friendliest staff. Food & coffee was delicious

The owner and staff are very friendly. The food is magnificent! There are little twists to normal dishes that make it taste entirely different. The atmosphere was cozy...very rustic vintage. There are only about 5 tables and they are pretty close together but patrons were respectful and kept as much distance as possible. I highly recommend Hole in The Wall and I will definitely be back!

If you are looking for an exceptionally good breakfast in Financial District served by real nice and helpful staff, Hole in the Wall is the perfect spot. We went there for breakfast once during our one week stay in NYC. I can recommend this place and it’s chili scrambled eggs!

My favorite place is a Hole in the wall in midtown and I wanted to try in downtown. In this place my experience was unsuccessful. The bread was overcooked and very dry, it was impossible to bite off or cut off with a knife. Next to me table was having the same problem. Maybe the chef is having a bad day...

OMG the food was amazing. My favorite dish was the waffles. The mascarpone cream complemented it very well. The bacon was a fairly thick cut which I enjoyed. Everything was cooked to perfection. I’m looking forward to going there once again…. And getting some more waffles!

Great coffee and food at this little gem in Fidi with a nice big courtyard out front. Expect a line for brunch on nice weekends at prime hours. The breakfast sammy and the pulled pork Benedict are amazing, so is mostly everything. Mixed Aussie and American staff are always super friendly.

Food is great and fresh, presentation is really nice. Portions aren’t huge for the price and the wait is pretty long - the restaurant is actually a hole in the wall with limited seating , which makes it hard to get a table but it’s a unique concept.

Extremely tasty mushroom toast with poached egg, and great coffee! Only sit down place in NYC that we didn’t get the bill without asking, which was refreshing. Unfortunately that was the only time we were kind of in a hurry and weren’t asked if we needed anything else (or the bill lol), which would’ve come in handy. Nevertheless, the waiter was extremely friendly, so no complaints.

Very well done guys! Super cool place to have a coffee, brunch or even a full meal! Go try this until the weather stays warm! Not sure if they’re keep the outdoor dining tables for longer once it gets colder. Hope they do, and maybe put some outdoor heater. Very much recommended!

The brunch was good but I wasn’t amazed as I think it will be. The service was a little slow because there was too many people but very friendly.

Everything came quick. If you wanna sit outside, you better go after 1 pm, cuz the sun goes away. Food was delicious

Hearty brunch location with really kind staff. All the food was rather fatty though definitely delicious. We got the Pulled Pork Benedict had heaping and delicious pulled pork. Chilli Scrambled Eggs had a generous helping of salsa and avocado with glistening scrambled eggs. The Brekkie roll was definitely on the heavier side of brekkie rolls I’ve had. The sweet potato fries were great but still rather oily and not super satisfying. For drinks we also had a good flat white. I’d recommend trying for a salad if you want something more balanced considering how heavy the food normally is. Or try another Australian brunch place since there’s so many alternatives in the city. Service was good, food was rather slow though the place was a fully packed. There was a small wait of about 30 mins for brunch on a Saturday (prime NY brunch time).

Tasty food and good service. Price is average. Good location and beautiful experience overall. There is a lot of variety in the menu and you can sit indoor or outdoor patio. Perfect spot for brunching.

Pretty yummy brunch food! Tried their scrambled egg (red sauce was a bit spicy but quite good) and also had their coffee with ice cream! I did come out smelling like brunch food 🤔
