I don’t know how to explain this restaurant to express my real feelings It was above and beyond my expectations Awesome perfect spectacular great delicious add as much as good adjectives you can to my list The best of best Such a wow Service was awesome, staff super friendly, ambiance was unique Have no idea how to explain this place Speechless 😶 I didn’t like the dessert I chose but still the best experience in total Thank you Ai Fiori for making my night so special

I came to Ai Fiori back in 21 when they held a singular Michelin star and the food was pretty good. I opted for the tasting menu which proved to have some tasty plates. Unfortunately, they no longer have Michelin recognition and have been downgraded all the way to a simple Michelin review but it would still be worth a try. Something dramatic must have happened in the kitchen with a staff change, ingredients source, or simply got too comfortable after they got their star because they even got skipped over for Michelins bib gourmand recognition which is under the first star.

I celebrated my birthday at Ai Fiori and we had an amazing time there. I highly recommend the 4 course tasting menu which you can pick one choice from each category. I am not a food critic but if I were they definitely deserve the Michelin star. Everything we ordered was beyond delicious. Photos do not do them justice. You just got to go and try. The service is 10/10. Very attentive. FYI, as weird as it sounds, the bread that came with our dinner was probably the best bread I’ve ever tasted.

Me and my wife went to Ai Fiori for our anniversary. They printed a special menu for us. We chose Prix Fixe + Wine pairing. All wines chosen by the sommelier were a perfect match with the menu we selected. Foods are authentic and traditional but with very creative twists--they feel comforting but at the same time very much new. Food, wine, service, the atmosphere, decorations, lighting--everything is in a perfect harmony. Definitely visiting there again. And I absolutely recommend this place for any special occasion.

A solid upscale meal that was a bit too safe for my taste. I had the chef's tasting menu. All the food was good, a couple of things were great. I liked the more experimental dishes more, but there were few of those. The fish and the meat were not very flavorful; the caramele pasta and the dessert were, as well as the small bites, were much more interesting. The service was quick and attentive, but not very warm, mostly concerned with efficiency.

Everything was perfect. The restaurant atmosphere, the cleanness, the decoration, the lighting and staff was very attentive. Everything was perfect. The wine selection is extensive, food menu very simple but delicious.

I have dined here multiple times and highly recommend. It's a great restaurant to dine at after shopping on 5th Avenue and before seeing a broadway show. Beautiful floral ambiance. Incredible cuisine & service - the spaghetti with blue crab is my favorite. Also Bar Fiori is their bar and a great spot for drinks either after work, pre-dinner, or after dinner.

Visited this Michelin star restaurant during our trip to NYC. We enjoyed our time here, you can really see the little details of effort - I always appreciate when restaurants have a centrepiece with real flowers. And their custom logo plates. The food was delicious, of course, definitely could go easier on the butter. I would highly recommend the Lobster soup, Spaghetti with blue crab, and the Fusili pasta. Delicious! Sadly the desserts were disappointing. The 3 of us dined and we each had an appetizer, a main, and dessert. Total came up to $800 with tip (wine was $220). Truthfully I didn’t think the service matched the price point. Our server made sure our waters were filled and the empty dishes were taken but just felt like he was there to do a job more than to provide a service. Nevertheless we had a great time and left satisfied.

Everything here was next level amazing. Our server was extremely helpful and helped us choose the 4 course prix fixe over the chef's tasting menu since we got to select our own dishes and try twice as many things by sharing. The wine pairing were perfect and even unexpected sometimes. I feel like it has ruined me for all other food because it was just that good.

My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday evening with a dinner reservation. Ambience and service was absolutely AMAZING. We ordered the Chef's Tasting menu and I'd say we have a bit more of an Asian palette so our preferences and experience can definitely vary from person to person. Some dishes I'd like to highlight is the swordfish, risotto, and deer? or duck (unfortunately don't remember) but those represented great flavors, textures and temperature. Melted in the mouth. The cucumber radish dish definitely has potential - I do wish it was a little bit colder to give it a more refreshing, clean taste. The fish with cauliflower on top also has great potential. Enjoyed the fish in itself but the flavors didn't feel like they blended as thoroughly. Desserts were solid. Overall was a lovely first time experience here

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to... I was delighted with visiting this chic place... I liked everything: the interior, atmosphere, service, dishes, serving dishes, quality of food... I celebrated my birthday... I will definitely come back here again... I recommend it to everyone...

Tried the 4 course menu. The starter was vellutata, yhe lobster soup, which was served amazing. Then I had the blue crab spaghetti, one of the best pastas in town. As a main course I preferred the veal chops. The portion was really big. As a dessert I highly recommend torta di limone. All these meals were really well with red wine (valpolicella ripasso).

We tried vegetarian tasting menu and all the courses apart from salad and desert were bland. Risotto was not buttery and felt like boiled rice with mushrooms; ravioli was soft but filing needed more taste; polenta was nice but veggie with polenta was over cooked and tasted bitter. We did not felt like Michelin star restaurant cooking. Presentation of dishes was good although each dish was brought out by different person and last 2 individuals did not even explain us what our dish was. Lastly, the server gave us our check which has additional items worth $120 that we had to request to be adjusted since it was not for our table. Overall, very moderate experience and would request chef to improve the taste, and serving staff to be more professional about guests to deserve a Michelin star.

Not Michelin quality. We chose fixed 4 courses option. While my first course Risotto was 9/10 and Tartare was 8/10, the aged sirloin I paid extra for was absolutely garbage. It was stringy and tough. Maybe the tasing menu option perhaps a better choice? All 4 people in my party did not like the main course. Although the server did offer us a different 3rd course but we were full at at point and didn’t have time to sit around waiting for a replacement. Over all I don’t recommend this establishment

Very high quality Italian restaurant with exquisite dishes. The setting is immaculate with fresh flowers throughout. Highly recommend original pastas as well as homemade desserts. A true jewel right in the heart of Manhattan on 5th Avenue!

I haven’t had a meal this good in a long time! After having a couple of recent bad experiences at other fine dining establishments (with prix fixes 2-3xs the price of Ai Fiori), I got a last minute reservation here and was really blown away by the quality of the food and the friendly and top-notch service. We were pleasantly delighted dish after dish, and were made to feel super comfortable and attended to by the wait staff. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful experience. The service was most upscale, professional and courteous. Given current pandemic times, it was nice to see only 2-3 other tables dining with us indoors, and we'll spaced out on the other side of the room. The experience was intimate. Despite our late dinner start, at 8;45, our dinner and dessert never felt rushed. I would recommend the lobster soup to start and the chocolate "cane's for desert... Unique items !

Fine Dining restaurant with all the bells and whistles, with excellent service and ambience. I have definitely had tastier Italian fare, though at much simpler restaurants

The service was outstanding. We chose the chef's tasting menu. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience and Michael Angelo (the server) and Arette (sommelier) were amazing.

Food is excellent! I was pleasantly surprised with how consistent the quality was - every dish we tried was amazing. I personally recommend lobster soup, pastas and chamomile mousse dessert 🍮 Service was attentive and not annoying - great! We were not rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy the evening.

You're initially enthralled walking through the entrance of the Langham hotel, and up the spiral staircase to Ai Fiori. The decor calls back to a mid century sensibility, but was cheapened by plastic plants tucked throughout. Off to the right is Bar Fiori, and to your left is Ai Fiori, it's tables and layout feeling both spaced out and crowded at the same time. The food was almost impressive and there were some highlights in the pasta and rissoto. The spaghetti with bluecrab was good enough to come back for and had the right amount of spice from the Calabrian spices. The Rissoto was cooked just right and we loved the crunch and saltiness from the parmesan crisp. The entres was where the meal was disappointing. The Tagliata wasn't cooked well and tasted bitter and chewy. The mushrooms tasted the same and also salty, both likely done in by a burnt reduction. Nothing leaves you wanting more than a poorly cooked steak. My wife's Halibut tasted mediocre and didn't feel inspiring. Overall, Ai Fiori would be suitable as an expensed business dinner, but a miss if you're looking to celebrate a special evening.

A very refined restaurant, world class service, the food is delicious, it is a delight for the senses. The price is is just for what you receive. If you want to try a high end restaurant, this is a great option.

Ai Fiori has been my favorite restaurant in the city, so far. The food is fantastic, the service is attentive, and the ambiance is astute! I’d advise choosing the four course price fixe option; I went with that and it was the perfect amount of food. I started with the Vellutata - a lobster soup. It was fantastic! The lobster, tomato, truffle, and croutons worked together perfectly. From there, I chose their tortellini. This dish was also incredible! Next, I had the Fiori burger with potatoes on the side. I personally thought that the large bun took away from the burger itself. I think a lighter bun would have served the burger better. With that said, it was still very good. I finished up with their chocolate dessert. It quite possibly was the best dessert I’ve had at a restaurant. If you have enough room after dinner, definitely get this! I was thoroughly satisfied with the service the entire night. Our waters/drinks were always full, we were checked on the right amount, and the servers were always friendly! The hostess was also welcoming and happy to see us! They truly treat you like family. The sleek interior features dark hardwoods and a gorgeous assortment of flowers. This mix creates such an elegant environment that was a pleasure to be a part of! Ai Fiori is perfect for a date night, special occasion, anniversary, etc. I would love to come back soon!

This review is exclusively for the bar. We were at Bar Fiori just before going crosstown with friends for a meal. We had drinks and wanted some bar snacks. Unfortunately they no longer offer complimentary snacks like popcorn of yesteryear. So we ordered Steak Tartare and Fluke with Caviar.....Unbelievable GREAT!!!! We caution that service takes a while after 6pm...they are short staffed like everyone else.

Everything about our experience here was amazing: great space, great atmosphere, great service (we LOVED our waiter), very accommodating to our food preferences. The ONLY reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I don't feel like there were a lot of options on the menu. The entrees were very meat or seafood heavy, and although I'm not vegetarian, I don't eat seafood and I prefer lighter meat over a steak. I wish there had been a vegetarian or poultry option for the entree.

We came to New York for my wives b day to see Broadway shows. So I slipped in a few trips to some Michielin rated restaurants for myself. This was my 1st experience at one. Let me just say it did not disappoint. Our server Ishmael was fabulous...very knowledgeable and super patient with 2 nubes. I do recommend getting the chefs picks or the pick 4 course on your own. You can't beat the price and you get to try more than 1 thing. I got the caviar 1st ...risotto 2nd...their signature dish which is a buttered lobster called Astiche. Let me say I am a risotto lover and they put some apple in here and it blew my mind. My wife got the butternut squash which is seasonal. The atmosphere and service were out of this world. One suggestion we would make is on the table they put fake flowers ...they go through a lot of trouble to make a difference...so real fresh cut flowers would be a nice e touch. If you are in the city check this place out and ask for Ishmael!

Very nice place to celebrate a special occasion. Service, food, and everything else was perfect. We ordered the tasting menu and it saved us the trouble of deciding what to order, plus we got to taste several delicious plates. I would totally recommend it.

Ai Fiori May have ruined steaks for me. It was really that good. Best steak I’ve had in my life paired with probably the best service I’ve had. Was an amazing experience all around - highly recommend checking them out. Filet Mignon and the chocolate mousse are a MUST.

Only had breakfast at this location but would love to return for dinner. Traditional breakfast was straight forward but quite tasty nonetheless. We visited when they had a Michelin star but did not feel like the service met that designation. Clientele in this location also did not dress appropriately for the venue in my opinion. Lovely decor and the restaurant has a nice view. Looking forward to returning to try out their revamped dinner menu.

  • 5/5 Samuel P. 9 months ago on Google
The food... the food was absolutely amazing. First time where I felt that the price I paid despite the portions of the food was worth the quality of the food. The ambiance was great, service was wonderful and patient . 100% recommending the place to other people and will be back again. I can't emphasize enough, the food was great. If you're looking for a nice classy place to go to to have a date or meeting, this is definitely a place to check out.

They’re currently doing a collaboration with Marea and it’s a must try. The service is as always impeccable. For us the most notable dishes were the trofie nero and the scallops. Everything was rich and decadent while still staying very light.

My wife and I had dinner at Ai Fiori a few nights ago. We had not tried it before. The experience was excellent. The room is very understated but very attractive. The sound level was not loud, but not quiet - it was just a nice lively but acceptable background din. The wine list is pretty impressive. Our meals were quite good. The service was attentive. Ai Fiori, translated to ‘Among the Flowers’ in Italian, showcases the modern interpretations of French and Italian Riviera cuisine. The menu highlights signature hand-made pastas, emphasizes seasonal ingredients, and features traditional regional dishes inspired by land and sea. Ai Fiori is located on the Second Floor of the Langham Hotel on Fifth Ave. Ai Fiori has a Grand Award-winning wine list, which boasts over 1000 selections. In addition to the main dining room, Bar Fiori and its lounge area offer guests the opportunity to experience Ai Fiori in a more casual environment, whether to enjoy a craft cocktail and snack or a full meal. Ai Fiori plays host to elegant private events and offers many different attractive setups to consider based on the size of the party and occasion. We are dedicated to making each business, social, or personal event memorable and suited to your needs. Ai Fiori received three stars from The New York Times as well as Michelin Star recognition the past several years. The restaurant was also included in Esquire Magazine’s 2011 List of Best New Restaurants in America. Additionally, New York Post critic Steve Cuozzo labeled the signature dish Astice the “greatest dish in the world.” Ai Fiori also ranks among Zagat’s Best Italian in NYC, and the Forbes Travel Guide awarded it four stars.

Excellent food and service from the staff. World class service at this Michelin restaurant . AI Frior is also hosting the menus of Marea this summer was. Had the four course fix price dinner. Exceptional environment, food and taste

High-end quality and service by this restaurant located inside the Langham Hotel in Manhatten. The iconic entrance takes you up a spiral staircase, eloquently decorated for the season, or, elevators are available to enter from the opposite side past the check-in counter for the hotel. The bar area is great for small gatherings of parties up to four. For larger groups, there are several adjoining rooms, each offering its own unique decor and size, including one dining area built into the wine storage racks. I had their signature burger and potatoes - which is a perfect size to fill you up, yet leave you craving more! The bar has a wide selection of spirits, wines and beer. Indoor seating only, as the restaurant is on the second floor.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Great drinks and the food was delicious! We all did the 4 course menu and each dish was a perfect combination of flavors. The staff was amazing too! The manager made a recommendation for a wine pairing for my entree that was absolutely perfect. Will definitely return!

This place is classy and located inside a hotel. The host was also sweet and kind when we arrived. The tables are big and far apart, loved the extra bit of light on each table, so a few things irked me about Michelin- restaurant. First, after we got menus, no one came to explain the menu to us. The food was quite good, but fell slightly short of my expectations for Michelin Star Restaurant. Service wasn’t bad but it was far from Michelin level. Good restaurant but don’t go there with too much high expectation.

  • 5/5 B. L. 1 year ago on Google
The restaurant is surprisingly big. Great for large parties. It is easy to book tables so that's definitely a plus! We did the chef's tasting menu and we loved every course. I would go again with a group of friends. The presentation of the food was beautifully delivered on every plate. The staff was very attentive to us and extremely nice.

First time eating pasta dinner with my sister a week ago. I love there pasta so much! But a little bit too salty. I wish it could be creamy a little bit! The cocktails are great! Fancy room inside!

I had such a great evening at Ai Fiori. Octopus was great, duck was great(Especially with medium-well/well cooked) and deserts were amazing. But the very best part was the service. It’s 15/10. I haven’t seen this great service in nyc since/after the Covid. All of staffs were very friendly and nice, they were on the top of everything and our main staff, Ishmael, made our night. Very thorough, considerate and just great. I’m definitely coming back!
