I was just expecting the shakes to be amazing. However, everything was beyond expectations. The fried pickles were the best fried pickles I have ever had. The burger was perfect, and those shakes.... were incredible. It is now one of my favorite restaurants! Definitely go here if you get the chance.

Without question the best burger and shake place we have ever been to. My wife and I are food people, we love good food, interesting recipes, and locations. We planned ahead to go to Black Tap on a recent trip to NYC. Black Tap is way worth the wait without question. The food was fantastic. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was top notch. If you are going to be in NYC do yourself a favor and hit up Black Tap you won’t be disappointed.

We had a pleasant experience here. The service was fast and friendly! They give you a good amount of food. I got the Texan burger and it was delicious. Crispy bacon, moist bun, melted cheese, and a thick onion ring. I highly recommend getting the spicy mayo, dill sauce and special sauce for dipping your fries into. The classic peanut butter shake was average. Bigger shakes seem like the way to go. Chicken tenders were seasoned well. I’ll come back!

Milkshake was amazing. Worth every bit of diabetes. My partner had the burger that won awards and said it was very tasty. The chicken tenders weren't that great, but it was nice it came with 3 different sauces. I think this is def an Instagram burger and milkshake spot, I'd skip the chicken.

The food was incredible. The Greg Norman Burger is easily one of the best I've ever had in my entire life. Rachel was a sweet, gracious waitress as well. Highly recommend coming back to try the other burgers and milkshakes!

What an amazing burger spot this is. I’ve visited Black Tap a few times, and they never cease to amaze me. The food was great, but there weren’t many available options for different dietary needs. The service was really good, and the price wasn’t too bad. There was a wait time but it goes by pretty quickly. I would recommend visiting this location, and I’m sure the other locations are similar or better.

I tried the Texan burger and it was delicious. I loved the giant onion ring in the burger. The fries were so crispy as well. The cake shake was so good. If you love vanilla icing and funfetti cake, you have to try it!

3 words......Amazing, Amazing, AMAZING! The food was awesome and the shakes were equally just as good! Be careful when ordering as the portions are pretty big. I ate one half of my Kobe burger and the other half I saved for dinner. It's not as small as it appears. There seems to be a downstairs area I had no clue about until we were leaving. You can also sit outside. The waiters were awesome as well. Overall everything about this place is amazing.

I had the wagyu steakhouse burger with fries. Good burger and decent fries. The A1 sauce is served on the side and personally I found it overpowers the burger, so I didn't use much. Their tap system was not working and apparently hadn't been for ~4 days, so all but one of the draft beers were unavailable. The server was friendly and amusing.

I went to the Broome street location 6 years ago and today I decided to frequent it again ever since the pandemic forced me to stay indoors for a good amount of time. I distinctively remember the Bison burger I ordered at that time but this time they don't have it in their menu. I was kind of disappointed but it was a blessing in disguise. I ordered the Mulberry Street burger since it was an "award winning burger". I like it!!! I ordered it medium rare and it was great. There were prosciutto and provolone that balanced the whole thing. The burger was a bit spicy but the flavors work. As for drinks they have the Boozy Irish Coffee shake which was really, really good. I highly recommend them both. I managed to scoff down the burger but couldn't finish off the fries. Too much for me. I couldn't even down the whole shake. Unless you are really hungry, you will definitely leave something behind.

Place is small, but they offer seating at the bar, and the menu mainly focus on burgers, shakes, few appetizer options available. Burger was very tasty, but we asked for both with Sunnyside egg or at least runny yolk, and the eggs were cooked to death (see picture). Staff seemed rushed, no upsell, follow up or genuine hospitality.

I never had such an amazing and over the top milkshake before. They go all out on the shakes, which are enough to serve 3 people. I highly recommend getting a milkshake here, you won't regret it. It's pricey, but you get a lot in return. Other than that, the burgers and beers were great too, but nothing out of the ordinary. Staff was friendly and quick, but it never felt rushed, which is a big plus. Overall, we had a great time here.

Too good. It felt like heaven in my mouth. Got the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and 2 old fashioned burger, simply mind blowing. And leave some space in your tummy to get the Oreo Crazy Shake which is also amazing. Overall, will come back again!

The burgers🍔, fried mozzarella & Shakes🍨 are great❕️The only thing is that the place is small & there's always a long wait for a table but besides that I have to say this is 1️⃣ of my go to spots when I'm in Soho.🍔🍟🧀🍨

Great burgers. The Korean Wings are awesome. Rediculously good milkshakes. Nothing fancy, but the food is really good.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The Greg Norman was delicious. High quality meat, cooked perfectly and with some delicious blue cheese. Great offer of beers too. The prize here though is the mega shake. No words. All quality here. You won't be disappointed.

We did not have a reservation Saturday night around 6:30 and was told it would be a 20-30 minute wait. Gave them our number and was told they would call. 30 minutes pass and we hadn’t been called yet and we went back to check, and they had written down the wrong number. Luckily they then seated us immediately. We ordered the Brooklyn blackout, the strawberry lemonade, Nashville wings, and two burgers. Everything was delicious and very filling. The milkshake was so unique, it’s definitely something you have to try when you go! The wings were crispy and spicy. The burgers were cooked well. Would go back, just make sure they take your number down correctly.

Got the wagyu burger and maaaaaaan was it juicy. Great flavor and extremely filling. Could barely walk after I ate it😅 (not really) Was a neat spot with a great atmosphere. Appeals to a more “younger” with the aesthetic and music playlist. Goto for a date😉

The burgers and shakes was absolutely delicious, fresh and on point!!! Very nice cozy place, music selection is excellent. Staff is friendly and attentive, I recommend all New Yorkers and visitors to stop in, prices are definitely reasonable!!!

Shake was delicious but the food was just okay. Fries were very very salty, even though I had ask for no salt to be added and the chicken wings were a little hard. Definitely go for the shakes not the food.

This place was excellent. The burgers and fries were so good! Also had the fried pickles as a starter. Wow, they were good! They also have an impossible burger for vegetarians. Go, you won’t be disappointed.

Really tasty burgers and phenomenal milkshakes. The French fries deserve a shout out too they were perfectly salted and tasted amazing. Very limited seating on the inside but their staff is so friendly and the food is great.

What a great place to share a shake with friends! We tried several of their crazy shakes and really loved the birthday cake one and the Cookie one! We also had to get a couple of baskets of fries with ALL of their special sauces! The dill sauce was my favorite!

  • 4/5 Jos van K. 2 years ago on Google
Burger was great and the shakes are crazy, see pictures all over. Just adding a picture of the atmosphere. The place was open in the basement only, which gave a nice vibe to it! Staff friendliness could have been better, though they did seem to be quite busy with orders for deliveries. There’s always next time because we will be coming back!
