Not your everyday go to dining establishment, but definitely a treat to your senses when you go. The ambiance of the bar is eclectic. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations from the menu. The drink selections are amazing and robust. Price point for drinks are a bit high. I had the sakura maru and it was a nice citrus drink to cut the strong tastes of the food, almost like a palate cleanser. The chicken liver mousse was absolutely amazing! The presentation of the food was beautiful. The chicken burger with foie grois was the best item on the entree menu. The french fries were good but a touch too salty. The best part was the amazing cookies and cream ice cream! It's a scoop of vanilla ice cream rolled in cookie crumbles and frozen with nitrogen. They look like dinosaur eggs and are eaten as finger food!

My go to bar, which I miss dearly. Perfect date spot, beautiful bar, beautiful people and not pretentious in the slightest. Cocktails are are on point, food is always awesome I usually just grab a ham and cheese w/fries at the bar and some cocktails with friends or just cocktails on a date. The ambience is great, the service is great and it's pretty much the only bar I care to visit in new york anymore. Please open up soon.

We recently visited NYC and enjoyed a late lunch a the NoMad Bar at 28th Street and Broadway. This is a place that has been long recommended by those who post on the TripAdvisor New York City forum for their dry-aged burgers. As such, we made point to include a lunch here along with the likes of Minetta Tavern and Gramercy Tavern during this particular trip to New York. The NoMad Bar is walk-in only. We arrived around 2pm on a weekday and were seated immediately. Atmosphere is very nice, dark brown walls, a beautiful bar counter area and nice wooden booths with fair lighting. Service was attentive and timely throughout our meal. Having a bit of a reputation for their cocktails, we tried a couple of their signature drinks, finding them very sweet and friendly. I enjoyed the En Maison, NoMad's take of an Old-Fashioned best. This was a smooth blend of Japanese whisky and rye. Cocktail drinks at NoMad were tasty but somewhat enjoyed less to those at Gramercy Tavern the following day. As indicated, for food we ordered the dry-aged burgers at NoMad Bar. Ordered medium-rare, ours were served up medium rare to medium and the other just medium temperature. We much preferred the medium-rare to medium burger which, for obvious reasons, was able to preserve the nature flavours of the dry-aged beef. The patty gave off slight truffle aroma and taste and was very good to eat. The medium burger was still quite good as well, even if overgrilled. While these were good burgers, we enjoyed them less than the 'special' Black Label burger at Minetta Tavern as well as the burger tried at Gramercy Tavern. Fries served with the NoMad burgers were better than those at Minetta Tavern. In the end, NoMad Bar is a very nice spot for lunch in Manhattan. We'd have no problem eating here again during future visits to NYC but would target the other two taverns mentioned above first - at least for the burgers.

Nice bar if you can find the back room! Always crowded, but well worth the visit. Drinks are top-notch as are the mixologists. A great place to visit when in the neighborhood.

One of the best burgers I've ever had. You can see very few ingredients with the meat (cheese, onions, pickles), it's simple but super tasty. The place is expensive like so many other places in New York but this one is totally worth it. The fries and the ice cream sandwich (milk and honey) were also delicious. We had to wait a little bit for a table as we didn't have any reservation.

Absolutely loved! Food is delicious especially the hotdog, we tried several cocktails that were great too. We had a reservation but arrived early so we waited at the bar. The bar is quite big so it's convenient unlike other bars that get too crowded. Definitely recommended.

Great place for cocktails!! An almost hidden gem in NYC! The staff are very knowledgeable about the drinks and have a variety of cocktails on their menu. A must stop by if your in the area. Very classy bar with a chill atmosphere! Will definitely be back next trip out to the city!

Came here with a friend. We only got some drinks so we just sat at the bar. I got the blinker, the start me up and the seasonal eggnog. The blinker was good, a good mix of whisker and fruity flavors. The tear me up was a suggestion from the bartender after I asked for some refreshing drinks. It was pretty tasty as well. The seasonal eggnog was less impressive as it was less sweet but more alcoholic then I expected. Their menus changes often and most of their drinks were good. In general a good bar living to its name.

The environment is very charming and relaxing, especially with the glass dome letting in the sunshine and green plants decorations. The food is what I see on the healthy side though. Low calorie and carefully selected good quality ingredients, but a little bit less of flavors. The chicken sandwich is a bit dry, which I would not say it is not good. But if you are looking for the normal juicy strong flavor sandwich, it might not be the right option. The appetizers and desserts are great.

Great setting! Good food. 3 stars because it wasn't out of the world. The drink was okay! And the food was definitely delicious but super over priced! Did not seem worth it at the end of it all. One thing you must try is their carrot tartare: they do one hell of a job with that dish! It's amazing!
