finally
checked
this
place
off
of
my
list!
the
bar
is
dimly
lit,
intimate,
and
ornate,
perfect
for
dates
of
small
gatherings.
we
were
promptly
seated
for
a
5pm
reservation
on
a
saturday
afternoon.
the
menu
had
a
huge
selection
and
we
were
kinda
overwhelmed
to
be
honest.
our
server
was
really
helpful
and
knowledgeable.
we
got
the
following
to
try:
-Barricaded
Mountaintop:
a
Negroni-like
drink
with
a
bergamot
twist.
loved
it!
-Happy
Trails:
a
Whiskey
Sour-like
drink
with
apricot,
yuzu,
pineapple,
and
fennel.
it
was
delicious!
-Stay
Gold:
with
bourbon,
ginger,
lime.
it
gave
me
the
impression
of
a
Kentucky
Mule,
sans
mint.
it
was
very
gingery,
which
i
like,
but
my
friend
is
not
a
huge
fan
of.
-Screen
Door
Slam:
an
Old-Fashioned
like
drink,
but
with
addition
of
Aperol
and
Absinthe.
i
think
all
the
drinks
were
quite
inventive
and
had
a
nice
range.
service
was
great
too.
i
think
my
only
grip
is
how
pricey
it
is.
drinks
are
$19
a
pop.
as
someone
who
loves
cocktails
and
making
cocktails
at
home,
i'm
not
too
impressed
by
the
liquors
that
they
used.
they're
not
the
most
unique
or
interesting
(Maker's
Mark
Bourbon,
Reyka
Vodka,
Suntory
Toki
[tho
i
do
love
Suntory
Toki,
etc.]).
overall,
still
a
good
time
and
will
return.
