Lovely, cute and quiet escape from the city noises. Great for relaxing and for having lunch. You can even buy some snacks at a little shack in the park (really good fries)! Always extremely clean, I highly appreciate that.

Every time I visit NYC, I like to spend time checking out new (to me) parks. On this trip, I found a couple that had waterfalls which seemed unique for a city. It's a very small park, but it's cute. The waterfall adds a nice element to it. There isn't really grass or anything here, but there are plenty of trees so it's nicely shaded. I'm not sure I'd add it as a must visit, but it would be a nice spot to eat lunch.

Such a peaceful, quiet place to step off the busy midtown streets. We found the breakfast here to be delicious and affordable. Wonderful place to sit on the patio when the weather is nice - and we even sat there in the rain and had a great time. Friendly groundskeeper and restaurant owner. Definitely a hidden gem on the streets of NYC.

This has been on my bucket list for a while and it felt like a nice full circle moment to experience this pieces of isolation from the city. I absolutely loved getting to sit here and eat some lunch. There was no one else around aside from the park attendants. The waterfall drowns out any of the city noise. It was extremely peaceful and sounds like you really are near a natural waterfall.

I visited here 3.26.23, for the first time I was disappointed, the beauty of the park/waterfall was obstructed because of the scaffold I wasn’t sure if they were renovating the park or the building adjacent to it but yeh…

The unexpected nature of this pocket park enhances the healing relaxation that the space imparts. A springtime visit will offer beautiful austerity with bright tulip blossoms contacted with the brisk air and cool rush of the waterfall.

Beautiful 'hole in the wall' public space featuring a voluminous waterfall, lots of seating, and a small food vendor. As of August 2017, construction platforms over half the park are an eye sore, but once complete, it'll be a perfect little oasis in Midtown.

A tranquil place in the middle of the bustling city. Beautiful wall with falling water, spent almost 2 hours here relaxing. I observed people bring their own coffee, soft drinks, food and have it here. It is almost an upscale restaurant ambience but open to public. Wish, there was a restroom here.

Great public space to escape the busyness of the city. During the day there’s a canteen that serves bagels, pastries, small sandwiches, and coffee. The waterfall makes the space so peaceful and ideal for taking a break or meeting up with someone.

I'm 68 years old. When l was about 8yr old, my mother would bring us my siblings to paley park. It was always on a hot summer Sunday. Can't believe the water spring is still flowing 😉

The large wall waterfall here silences the constant NYC street noise. There's plenty of seats here to grab a breather, as well as a small shop selling basic food and drink. We spent much longer than expected here, as it was just so relaxing.

Love, love, LOVE this pocket park!!! It's one of the few places you can light up a cigar outside in NYC. I know they stopped during covid, but I hope they are allowing smoke again. Coming back to the city this week.

One of our favorite things in New York City. The waterfall was tranquil and simple. A welcome sanctuary nestled in the hectic city.

This is one of the relaxing spots in the urban area. A waterfall in the back of the park. And they keep it so clean.

Hidden gem in the middle of Midtown that I came upon by accident. Completely free for anyone to stop by and chill for a bit. Lots of seating and great place to take pics. Also a quick bites type restaurant here you can grab a sandwich or drink.

A nice quiet spot for a quick rest in NYC. Would be 4 stars but only 3 stars right now 'cos the park is still half covered in scaffolding.

Just a few yards off Fifth Avenue in the center of Midtown manhattan’s shopping and hotel district and steps away from world famous landmarks like Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Trump Tower!

I used to go here many moons ago. I called it, "The Waterfall Park". It was still there in the 1990's. I sat there and did what I always had done. The restaurant wasn't open. That's where I learned who and where water fountains were made Halsey Taylor- Warren Ohio. It still looks frozen in time.

I love the view. It's easy to climb but will be slipper when wet so becareful. It has quite the view on top of the city surrounding central park. Great rest area and has alot of people who are also just relaxing and chilling

It is a gem-like park hidden in the busy city center. This is a place where you can relax and have coffee or snacks while listening to the cool sound of water.
