Cozy, old-Irish aesthetic bar that has a wide selection of beers and whiskeys. Plenty of seating here with both bar options and tables made of vintage looking wooden booths. The drinks here were good and while I didn’t try any of the food, it seemed popular amongst the other patrons. Great location for anyone looking to pop in after work with coworkers or on their way home.

Cool old school pub serving great beers (and Guinness of course), delicious Irish coffee and hearty food.

The bouncer really ruined the experience before we got in here. Sarcastic and condescending, he practically yelled at me to take my ID out of the window in my wallet. It’s unfortunate when you have to be emotional support for cranky dudes outside of half-decent bars. Not very interested in returning here, because the cute interior wasn’t enough to turn the weird experience around.

The best Irish pub in New York. Best Guiness in the city. The Swift is one of the reasons that New York is the best City to live a lockdown in! Because we can still travel without traveling. Going to the Swift is going to Ireland: a temperature of the Guiness that makes it so creamy like you can have it only in ireland. A hospitality, the most insane curry potatoes and everything lovable about life: laugh, conversations, great music, great food. Honestly one of the best treasures the city has.

Best pint I’ve had in Manhattan and 10/10 bar man. Recommended Iona to us which was deadly as well.

Mike really is the best bartender this place has had since the Shane and Simon years. Jack and Carl were great, but Mike has their personality in spades, and makes a solid drink. I love this bar always and forever

Great bar. Wonderful ambiance: wooden benches and tables, a nice bar with brass taps, a larger back room with more seating. Very good tap selection, ranging from American Craft to a few imports. For those people who desire foreign beers, Swift has a very decent bottle list. Bartenders are attentive and pretty knowledsgeable. I’ve had the food here a few times and it has been delicious each time. Prices are par for the Manhattan course, but certainly not exorbitant. Come to this bar to enjoy quality beers and the atmosphere, and grab a bite while you’re at it. Highly recommended.

Nice pub.. but I could not order a pint - only a small beer.

The place to be. Killer sausage rolls. Gorgeous Guinness. Got to rock up, stumble over one of my idols, bought him a pint and got told Happy New Year, best day of my life. Place rules.

One of the best places for a pint of Guinness in this grand city of New York! And by God the food is blessing on the palate and I’d be eejit to not mention the live music

Cool place no tv’s unless the menu wasn’t updated, the bartender skimmed a buck off each drink I ordered (2) unless the menu and overhead chalkboard prices hadn’t been updated.. didn’t bother to ask why

One of the best Irish bars in New York. A great, unique location. Beautiful finishes inside and the outdoor space is very well done. Great for the summer and winter. Guinness always on point.

Great Irish pub. The Guinness is delicious. The live Irish music made me feel like I was back in Ireland.

A true crown jewel of the NYC bar scene - a classical Irish pub faithful to the spirit and intellect of Jonathan Swift, one with no TVs to be seen anywhere (thank God), a great offering of whiskys and an even greater atmosphere. Rob, the guy who usually bartends when I'm there, is a true gent and a man of humor and skill, and he makes a damned good old fashioned. Swift's is probably one of the few watering holes I am happy to sit in first as a place to gather my thoughts and second to drink. Sláinte.

A great spot for drinks and a bite with friends! We stopped in as a party of 5 around happy hour time on a Friday and were able to grab a table right away. The drinks, food, and service were all great. I particularly loved the tomato flatbread!

Great authentic Irish bar. It’s a bit cramped sometimes but they have loads of room in the back. The sausage rolls are great with jamb on the side.

Fabulous. Originally from Dublin I’ve spent the last 30 years trying to find a legit Irish pub in the states and this is one of the few. Fabulous atmosphere and great Guinness and great company. Kate is great

Great for a quick drink and bite. Definitely the noho version of an Irish pub: elevated and high quality while still being warm and casual. They've done a great job with the outdoor seating area too.

Never knew that Jonathan Swift was a bar theme that could work, but it really did! Good service, good beer, good live music.

Swift's is a reliable neighborhood spot that is one of the more authentic British Pubs in downtown Manhattan. They pour the perfect Guiness, have a decent beer selection, a pretty good whiskey/spirits selection and better than average pub grub. The music is one of my favorite aspects; they play a cool mix of Brit Pop and Cool Britannia Rock. Added bonus: the staff rocks, professional & personable. Stop by if you ever find yourself on The Bowery.

Excellent first visit. Had a great time drinking La Chouffe on tap. My partner found a delicious local sour to imbibe. I will definitely be making my way back to this spot the next time I’m in town.

A dimly lit bar with a cozy vibe and decent beer/cocktail selection. Good for casual meetups and group hangouts. Friendly service, if a bit slow due to lack of staff.

An out of the way and actually quiet bar with amazing food. The bar is well-stocked and worth a visit for excellent food and drinks.

It was cool! It was pretty busy for a week night, which surprised me. The music was too loud to have quality conversations, which is too bad since this bar advertises that it's big on conversing.

Used to really like this place. Has become really lame in terms of crowd that hangs out there and people that work there. Last time I went the bartender gave my credit card to a random person whom made a bunch of charges to it and left with it. When I went to close out they told me I already closed out. I wasn’t rude or anything to them but for some reason the bartender became incredibly aggressive towards me for no reason. All of the people that work there tried to gas light me into thinking I took my card. Terrible service and miserable people.
