High value - amazing food at appropriate prices. Rotisserie chicken is the best. So is their green sauce! Ceviche is also amazing here. Wouldn’t recommend the avocado-shrimp appetizer. Would highly recommend the shrimp chowder soup, was delicious & uniquely flavorful. Restaurant has 2 floors, plenty is indoor seating.

Been coming here for years and they never disappoint! The food, ambiance and service is really! There grilled chicken is to die for! Love the ceviche as well. And my favorite is another dish with seafood, which I don’t remember the name but you can see from the pictures. Their sangria is tasty and strong! Highly recommend this place!

Great spot for food. I enjoyed the meals and felt like the service was great. There is a really nice atmosphere in the restaurant and you have the option to sit up in a balcony or down on the ground floor. I believe they were opened later at night for dining in which was a plus as well. I would recommend for a tasty meal to visit Pio Pio!

The food is exceptionality tasteful. The atmosphere is beautiful! - But the service was horrible this last time! I won’t take away from this establishment because of one bad experience. But management needs to correct this! Even after speaking with the Manger! I was astonish on what the server told management ! Just to make the customer seem that there wrong! So that’s why I’m leaving a 3-Star (for Bad Service) ! All my past experiences at this location have always been nothing but perfect!

I have not been back to this Pio Pio in a while, but it still is one of my favorite places to go! We must have been hungry because we got a lot of food....Everything was so good!!! Make sure you try the green sauce...you'll want to put that $hìt on everything (yes that's Franks red hot sauce slogan) lol . Great food, great service and a great place to go with the family. Oh, and I recommend Red Sangria :)

Excellent food and service. My fourth time in NYC and third time at PIO PIO. It’s a little too loud. The empanadas were not that great. All other dishes were absolutely delicious 🤤

Love this place and I am addicted to their green sauce! Chicken is always so flavorful and juicy! Sides are very large and definitely feeds two people. It's one of my go to places! Also the Tres Leches cake is amazing

Pio Pio Peruvian restaurant on Mid Town west side. The good: - very good rotisserie chicken, baked just right - The west side location has a large and roomy basement - We had a pitcher of the sangria -> Red ... mixed very well - fantastic green sauce, goes well with everything - delicious garlic sauce The not so good: - the avocado salad, while ok, the sliced carrots, cucumbers, radish and cabbage were all sliced up but lacked any dressing. - the Sangria pitcher was a bit pricy at $40 Summary: a solid restaurant with delicious rotisserie chicken

Pio Pio has fantastic and attentive staff. They walked around continuously checking up to make sure you have everything you need. The food was super tasty! We did a variety of different plates to try. Drinks were strong but for the price it was worth it. Overall had a fantastic experience here and will likely come again when staying in NYC!

Got their Matador combo for $55. So much food!! Avocado salad was fresh, rotisserie chicken was flavorful, juicy and tender. Service was quick, food came out so quickly. Meal with drinks and dessert after tax plus tips was $90 for two people. Great value for the price.

Food is SO good and fresh. Service is also really good (what a rarity in Ny these days). People are super friendly and they really recommend dishes that are yummy. I will be back!

I enjoyed this restaurant. My boyfriend and I had entrees and an appetizer. The food didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was lively. The fish was moist with a crispy bottom. The other dish had fresh seafood that included scallops in a tasty sauce. The appetizer was great with perfectly seasoned tender beef and potatoes. What a delicious and flavorful meal.

Overall this spot is the perfect dining experience. Could not recommend more highly for an affordable spot to enjoy high quality food! Also the Sangria is delicious and STRONG!

Great place… I literally went there on my last day in Manhattan. the service offer by Thomas was great and really appreciated it, food delicious first time trying Peruvian food. I want to give extra thanks for Thomas great waiter. Sadly i have a terrible headache and I have to get the rest of the food to go but even though I asked to hold it (the to go bag) because i needed to get some pain killers or something. And came back and I forgot to buy a bottle of water or something 🤣 i had a terrible headache but Thomas went above and beyond with his service that offered me some water just went I was about to leave. So a got overall a great experience I will definitely be back. Thanks Pio Pio for having such a nice people working here the ladies at the front desk also were so nice. Delicious food and great taste… if you meet Thomas you will be definitely get a great service but I’m sure that all the staff would be great as well. Thanks!

Chicken a little salty. Lomo not like my mom's. Forgot to bring 1 order. Atmosphere festive. Pisco sour, I've had better. Pitcher Sangria good.

Ive been to this place before but the last time i went the place was packed and the food was very bland compared to other occasions. The server had just started working at this location and was visibly overwhelmed by the amount of people that night and barely paid attention to us.

We first discovered Pio Pio 8 years ago and coincidentally ended up back here on the exact same day without realizing. If you are looking for a delicious Peruvian restaurant in Manhattan, this is it. The added bonus is the beautiful atmosphere which seems to be an underground setting with beautiful design. The ambiance is sophisticated and the manager working today was very attentive and accommodating. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful place to dine. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and amazing food. The staff was not only courteous but super fast. Ordered several dishes and drinks, served in what appeared to be less than 3 minutes, amazing service.

The rotisserie chicken is absolutely delicious and the price is reasonable too. Sangria was a little strong but good. The only problem is that there were a lot of tables but not enough waiters. The high ceiling dining room was beautiful.

I like the place, very spacious, service was excellent, food was delicious and the drinks too. I spent a total of $128 for 2. The atmosphere was ok, noisy. Your competing with the music, people talking and the sound of plates crashing into a bin. didn’t like the bathroom appearance or the high tables by the bar. They weren’t very comfortable to sit in for the kind of meal we were consuming and the “C” grade on the outside window was a little off putting. We took a chance and we were assuming the “C” grade is coming from a few violations which the restaurant is working on fixing. I see the menu changed to include allergy warning and the bathroom is getting fixed as well to meet code. I would definitely go back, hopefully the grade will change in the next months.

Wanted to try Peruvian cuisine, searched the web, found Pio Pio 8. Lovely ambience, very very courteous and good staff, and the food... Just delicious. The presentation and taste was too good. Just a tourist to NY else would have visited them again.

This restaurant really deserves the 5 stars I gave it. I visited on my birthday and the food did not disappoint. The steak and chicken has flavor like no other. The chaufa rice is incredible. They gave me a cake due to the birthday and it was perfectly made, it was perfectly moist and spongy. The atmosphere is very professional and the service was amazing, everyone was very nice and the food came out quickly. I recommend coming here. It is definitely worth the price.

Went here for a Friday date night. Typically with two people, I normally order one appetizer and one dish per person. However, we shouldn't have ordered the appetizer since the portions are very large. As an appetizer we ordered empanadas de pollo. These were two large empanadas completely filled with chicken and spices. It was served with a nice creamy/spicy sauce and about five sprigs of arugula. We ordered the lomo saltado which is a sliced filet mignon with veggies, and rice. This was such a delicious dish with a great sauce served on top. I also ordered arroz con mariscos which is their seafood paella. This was a large and great tasting dish, with enough seafood for every bite(see pic). For dessert we got chocolate cake and a side of ice cream. I'm not the biggest fan of cake but combo was so good and I recommend trying this dessert while you are here.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service! We went for dinner and even if it was crowded, they found a table for us and the service was super fast! Food is really good! I’ll definitely go again

Amazing food and service. I went here with my family for my graduation meal and we had an excellent time. Our waiter was super attentive, drinks were good and most importantly the food was delicious. We usually go to the one in Queens but this location felt a little more special. Will definitely return!
