Tried the Shake Shack on Columbus and theres no complaints from me with the exception you can not eat inside (Sept. 24, 2021), unlike the Shake Shack on 86th. I had a Cheese Burger, crispy French Fries and a Chocolate Malt. It was juicy and good. The staff was helpful and polite. If im in the area I will return. I would have gave it 5 stars if seating was allowed inside.

This Shake Shack is located right next to the American Natural History Museum, that’s why we decided to stop here to grab a quick lunch before heading in. The staff immediately welcomed us with a smile and directed us to the kiosks to order. We just had a couple burgers and fries. Everything was good, not sophisticated or anything, simple but good! The fries were swimming in cheese which for us was a bit too much but that’s absolutely personal taste. We paid roughly 20$ for a satisfying and filling lunch, great stop!

I’m always a fan of Shake Shack. The food is pretty reliably good. This visit was no different. The only issues at this location was some of their communication/signs. They have a giant neon sign that has an arrow pointing people to pick up orders at one counter, but I watched as they told every person who came up to the counter to do that to go to a different counter for a pickup. On top of that, they were sold out of things without anything being marked as such on any menus or signs. Outside of those frustrations, the food was good, and even though it was packed, there was still quite a bit of seating here. Definitely give the Korean chicken sandwich while it’s being served. It’s pretty fantastic.

This is the 2nd time eating Shake Shack, we ordered right meals which we love. Last year, the 1st time, we didn’t know what to order here; therefore, we ordered the meals we didn’t like. Anyway, I am happy to try it again this time. I think I would like Shake Shack.

Cashier and employees have really poor attitudes and no customer service skills. I asked a simple question of how long is a typical wait time for food a day the worker didn't even acknowledge me and walked away. 😒 The food is descent and the shakes are great.

Wanted to try to see what the fuss is all about. It’s just another burger place. Burger was nice and juicy. Fries were crispy. The strawberry milkshake didn’t have enough strawberry flavour. It was more vanilla than strawberry.

Completely mess, fried chicken is so small that the piece is smaller than a ping pong ball. I had three and had to eat something else in other place. People standing eating and it's impossible to walk inside. Never come back there.

We all know what it is, Shake Shack is consistently good but this is about shouting out the staff. Last Saturday (8/12) around 2pm there was a logjam of people in the lobby, elbow to elbow. It was impossible to create an orderly line but the staff did a good job sorting us all out. Naturally, in a high pressure environment like that there will be conflict and a little ruckus broke out in the kitchen..which was quickly put down by who I’m assuming was the manager. She firmly set everyone straight without freaking out and the machine kept rolling. Good work 👍🏼

The food was lovely, but the wait was horrendous! We arrived at 12:30, queued for 15 minutes and spent a further 30 waiting for our food. By the time it was ready, we were ravenous. They also ran out of buns while we were there, so there was a backlog of orders while they waited for delivery. A really convenient place to eat if you are visiting the national history museum, but don't expect quick service!

My first time trying their food and was surprised. The drink was very tasty. Not a fan of their fries though, a little too dry for my liking. However, this is the best burger I've ever had!

Mixed feelings about the food. Had higher expectations for the bourbon and shake stack. The mushroom patty was a redeeming factor though. The curly fries were pretty good, but not really worth the price. The milk shake was far too sweet, we ended up chucking out after trying to finish half of it (and we rarely waste food so 😢)

Great burgers! Nice location. Service was a bit slow. Had the new double burger with crispy echallote. The cheese fries and bacon fries are amazing.

Quick burger and fries after a long visit to American Museum of Natural History. Good burgers, great shakes and a short wait. Some additional seating downstairs.

This place is always amazing. Burgers are grilled to perfection. The fries are crispy. And the shakes are the perfect way to end a meal!

The burgers are good but is not the end of the world. The shakes are good and creamy, my favorite was the tiramisu. They have restrooms downstairs. Is VERY crowded, I recommend you order online and pick up. The service is good though. Burgers does not include fries, you gotta pay them separately.

Shake Shack in the Upper West Side was consistent with their quality of food, BUT The service was waaaaaaay too slow and they couldn’t keep up with their orders. Our group of 4 ordered 4 burgers, 1 fried and 1 lemonade. It took them 4️⃣5️⃣ MINUTES to prepare. When we asked to follow up, they didn’t know what we happening. The people around us were waiting and complaining too.

Waited more than 30 mins for couple sandwich which seems to be so hyped. I remember the original shake shack at Madison SQ park when they started, it was very tasty. Sadly not any more. It just waste of time waiting for unreasonably hyped priced sad looking sandwiches for more than 30 mins to get… chicken sandwich was too salty, i did not even finish

As this was our first time in NYC…we had to have a culinary classics: Shack Shack. As Californians, we had to compare this burger to In & Out. They are both amazing…but the flavors are SO very distinct, it’s not something we could separate. In & Out has a specific flavor. Shake Shack is slightly saltier and a smash burger so you get these delicious crusty bits. We had the double served straight up, with the chocolate malt and after careful consideration both agreed that Shake Shack came out ahead by a nose. I love a good chocolate malt, and this one was stellar. We visited on Columbus Day and the place was swamped so we had to wait about 15 min for our order but the staff handled it with Grace and friendliness. Kudos! We took our order across the street to one of the many benches and ate with the local delivery guys at the next bench. Something I HIGHLY recommend.

The chocolate shake was so good! This was a bit of a splurge for me, but I don’t think I would get the burger again even though it was a really good. Little trick: downstairs there are a bunch of tables that not a lot of people use, so it’s nice and quiet! I would get the shakes again and I recommend dipping the fries in the shake :) !

There was a big waiting line as expected for something near the museum, but we managed to do our order in the self order machines. The food was good but unfortunately they skipped my order and I waited for 30 min to get the food after getting the text that it was ready to pick up. It was very disorganized and a lot of people were getting the texts that their order was ready but it was talking at least extra 15 min for the orders to be ready. I do not give one star because there was one employee really nice that checked my order and saw the mistake and prepared it, I guess he was the manager. I asked two other employees about my order but none of them answered me.

The burgers are great! But they have Slow service & no communication. Greasy chicken to where it wasn't edible. Nobody was on the cash register. And my shake was literally just milk.

Food was good! Daughter had chicken bites and said they were the best she's had. I wasn't too hungry and had a hotdog. It was good. The staff were great. Was there with a friend who was in wheelchair and a lady who works there told her to let her know if she needed anything including the bathroom as it was downstairs she said she would carry her down if she needed to. It was not needed but the offer was appreciated.

Great burger and drink venue. Really tasty vegan burger option, nice crinkle cut fries. Mango and passion drink was just a squash though but all ok. Staff were friendly, service (waiting in line for order) seemed slower than Mcd’s but food was better and more expensive.

great shake shack burger store. two levels - so there are always enough sitting places. shake shack even give me a new limo drink when i accidentally dropped my drink. The burger was always great and dilicious - price little bit high as usual.

One of the very few American fast food chains I'd love to have in Europe. Great crinkle cut fries and burgers! And the strawberry milkshake was pretty good too

Stopped in for lunch after walking the American Museum of Natural History. The walk up kiosks made ordering easy especially at the height of lunch time. While the first floor seating was taken we were able to find plenty of open seating downstairs. The tables were not properly cleaned in-between customers but with the high traffic area we didn't mind doing a quick wipe down. Our food was read in less than 10 mins. Chicken sandwich and chicken bites were hot and tasty. Fries were not hot, more room temperature and subpar. The shake flavor selection was small. We choose the mini size and it was a perfect way to end our meal.

Love it! Love it! Love it! The burger at Shake Shack is absolutely delicious and all the stores have the same quality level. Definitely recommend it.

It was my first time visiting a shake shack. The woman helping me (Vanessa M) was so helpful. She answered all my questions about the menu options and was so friendly and kind (some of the other employees were talking and seemed like they didn't want to be bothered). Vanessa M made sure I was happy with my order and that everything was to my liking. I wish that staff at other fast food restaurants were as nice as Vanessa M was to me. Vanessa, thank you for such a wonderful experience. The burgers and shakes were delicious and I absolutely will be back!

My fiancé came in and wanted to order directly with someone, and the employee's all stared at her debating whether or not they wanted to take our order or not very unprofessional horrible customer service. You will be waiting 25minutes. Alots of customers waiting to take there order.

I managed to get here when it wasn't too busy. The burgers are as always great. This franchise has certainly come a long way from its origins at Madison Square Park.

Another shake Shack but it’s a good one. The location is great, just across the street from the American Museum of Natural History so after a busy afternoon of viewing and considering various natural objects and scenarios, you can pop in for a bite to eat and take the weight off your aching feet. The food is as good as you would expect from Shake Shack, juicy burgers, crispy fries and good shakes. Service is friendly and speedy and the decor of the restaurant is nice. Need a rest after museum fatigue? Come on in to Shake Shack.
