4/5 Food of C. 1 year ago on Google
Ellen’s
Stardust
Diner
has
been
on
my
NYC
bucket
list
for
years,
and
I
finally
had
the
chance
to
visit
last
night!
We
were
a
bit
worried
when
we
saw
the
long
line
wrapped
around
the
corner,
but
it
was
only
5:30pm
and
figured
we
would
take
the
chance.
I
was
honestly
impressed
at
how
quickly
the
lined
moved
-
it
was
only
about
a
40
min
wait,
and
the
staff
was
great
at
going
down
the
line
and
asking
for
party
sizes
to
get
people
in
as
quickly
as
possible.
It
was
a
hot
day,
and
unfortunately
the
air
conditioning
was
not
working,
so
it
was
pretty
stuffy
in
the
diner.
It
was
tough
to
find
something
appealing
on
the
menu
because
the
thought
of
hot,
heavy
food
wasn’t
exactly
what
I
wanted.
I
landed
on
a
corned
beef
sandwich
and
my
mom
chose
the
Reuben.
We
came
in
with
low
expectations
for
the
food,
expecting
it
to
be
more
about
the
experience,
but
it
really
wasn’t
bad!
I
had
a
great
milkshake
too,
and
my
mom
enjoyed
her
egg
cream.
The
wait
staff
was
so
talented
with
every
song
they
sang,
and
it
was
like
a
constant
party.
Our
small
table
was
very
close
to
the
parties
next
to
us,
and
the
wait
staff
was
often
dancing
on
the
booth
right
behind
me,
so
as
long
as
you’re
comfortable
with
that,
you’ll
have
a
great
time!
It
really
was
a
unique
experience
that
I’m
glad
I
did,
especially
because
my
mom
and
I
really
enjoy
Broadway.
