👍👍 Sunset is great around here, watch out for skunks in the summer. Canadian Gooses like to hang out here in the winter.

Only undisturbed piece of shoreline in Manhattan. If you want to see what it looked like 400 years ago, come here.

Great little park area to read books, listen to music, and enjoy nature around you. This little park is very secluded and peaceful. However, when there’s a football game going on or a train passing by - you’ll quickly realize you still live in one of the busiest City in the world lol. Enjoy 🌳

Update: Seal Photo Very peaceful area even when you share it with others. Perfect for morning routines: meditation, yoga, circuit exercises, etc. plus there is the added bonus of very distracting wild life!

It was lovely. A nice breeze. I was there checking for locations and delivery of oyster castles. Small fish were swimming at the racing shell entrance. A great blue heron flew over.

This place is my escape from New York City. The only time it's really crowded are the summer holidays. Otherwise, it's a great space to chill, catch some reflection and sit in peace and quiet. Being part of Inwood Hill Park means that there are another 96 acres to roam and be adventurous!

This is a beautiful location with a garden, picnic tables and waterfront seating. There are places with sun or shade once you walk down the path from the entrance.

Where city meets nature. Perfect tiny little boardwalk for sitting at dusk. Also neqrby picnic tables. Most notably the showcase of Inwood’s most famous flippered one, Sealy the celebrity seal.

Cool park with a nice little walkway along the water. I noticed families of all ages walking, sitting, enjoying the dusk after sunset. It was a nice experience.

Waterfront park that's right next to Inwood Hill Park and the Dick Savitt Tennis Center. Plenty of sunshine and warm breezes to be had here. It's peaceful and provides views of Marble Hill, the Columbia C, Metro North Railroad and the Spuyten Duyvil Creek. Good place to take photos and for bringing the kids.

Peaceful and beautiful space. I walked through from Muscota Marsh to the Dyckman A train.
