The Moma museum store is great with a huge variety of unique art products, good prices and many wonderful ideas for gifts but they don't get used to wrap presents, which is very uncomfortable and annoying. I took 5 presents for different people and although I asked 5 separately bags to wrap them on my own and of course i would pay for them, they refused, so i had to offer them to my friends with no bag at all. There was no logic at that and they didn't explained the reason. When someone wants to buy more than one present what is he supposed to do in order to have been wrapped? To come several times at the store and buy each one separately?

Always that place where anyone can find something - be it unique, beautiful, that something you couldn't find anywhere else. Some stuff really hits the spot of 'I never knew I needed that but I must have it now' and sometimes it's just a nice place to visit and browse.

Terrible service. Shipped 3 items separately to Canada using the same invoice 3 times which resulted in me having to overpay duties by 3 times. Refused to refund me the overpayment. I sent them backup documents multiple times and they ignored them. Do not use for international shipping. More recently purchased MOMA Albers nesting tables through a Canadian gallery and they were all defective. Crooked and non centered glass tops as well as one leg that was not screwed on correctly. Wow. All marketing and zero substance.

Good place to spend time and keep yourself cool or warm. But don't spend money here, it is stupid. Whatever you want to buy, you get it on Ebay, Amazon or taobao.

The store sells merchandise related to the art displayed in the museum, such as 'Starry Night' by Van Gogh. The store is spacious and clean.

Underground store in the Moma. Numerous selections for souvenirs and merchandise. The members may get an extra discount, so you need to confirm before your visit. Quite crowded for narrow space. Attitude of staffs were average.

I was here specifically to pick up an Andy Warhol print I'd seen while visiting MoMA earlier in the week. It wasn't in the Musuem Store but an employee offered to up to the MoMA gift shop, where it was in stock, and brought it down for me! It was a gift for my boyfriend who wasn't able to join me on my work trip to NYC and we both really appreciate how he went above & beyond for an inexpensive print. He didn't even act like it was any trouble, great customer service. They have an amazing selection of art themed gifts, I got my mom & sister each a magnet and myself a very reasonably priced "once you experience art, you are never the same" tote bag. Will definitely return next time I'm in NYC.

I love this shop, though a lot of the stock is the same as last year. Interesting books and unusual items. Got many Christmas presents here as I visited in December. A must-see if in the area.

The MoMA museum store is the best there is in the city. It has the best curated selection of items museum and non museum related things. Great for gifting others and yourself :)

It's so modern that they sell things that literally don't exist yet. It's like ultra modern. To the point of being the future of your life... If you buy the items of course.

Excellence in the layout of Automania Exhibit. We were extremely excited. Welcoming Staff members showed us where to go, we felt assured. Will visit again, God willing.

Variety of interesting designs! Prices are quite high. As a student traveling with my own savings, I wished they have more small gifts with affordable price. I found some of those, but they were very limited.

It's a pity if you visit MoMA but don't visit the store or find something for yourself

This is one of my favorite places to shop in Manhattan...I visit often. I am a member of the museum so I get a nice discount in the store and I love this place. If you are looking for a unique and different gift for someone, I swear they have something for just about everyone. My house is full of stuff from here. Of course you can order online but if you have a chance to visit the store, it is really worth the trip because the store is packed with such amazing stuff, I feel like a little kid in a great toy shop. Also to mention...the staff in the store are truly amazing. They are very friendly, interested in helping you if you need help, and really go out of their way to make sure any questions that you may have are answered. I think today it is very hard to hire great employees but there are really great employees in this store. Of course it is in a great location so it is a great visit... the museum is fantastic, the restaurants on both sides of the store, Fogo de Chau and The Modern, are amazing as well.

Associate NSallm was extremely rude during a return. After one associate charged my card for the return, Nsallm was extremely difficult and did not want to not take my return. I bought the item the day prior. 90 day return policy…… The item was in perfect condition. After reading the return policy my return was issued. This took way too long.

I highly enjoyed the store and the selection, and even though I wasn't able to purchase everything I wanted due to shipping concerns (me being a out-of-towner and all), I will say that the online store was extremely easy to navigate and the pieces I ordered arrived well-packed and without issue. However, that's where this fairy-tale review ends. I specifically ordered a framed Basquiat, and they sent me a well-framed and very good looking reproduction. I may be a simple Midwesterner, but when I order art I expect it to be the piece I'm ordering, not something that just came off the office copier right next to scans of the intern's rear end. I got more orders placed, and I'm expecting the real deal this time. Don't make me come back there and spend more money on a culturally enlightening tour of the gallery.

The video game exhibition was a little underwhelming - was hoping for more! Pac Man was cool :)

Was really impressed with this store. Great selection of items and well presented. More of a commercial store than a store for modern art buffs. But nonetheless a great shopping experience. Music was modern and pumping out a speaker that was for sale - untypical of a museum store and quite refreshing. I know there are a few MOMA stores in NYC - this one in Soho is a great store to visit.
