The place is small and there is very limited space to have coffee inside. Still, it is our favorite coffee place. Espresso drinks are the specialty here. The staff has changed for a few rounds since the store opened, and they have been a pleasant bunch, especially at this location. This location may be the first ever store of Le Cafe.

Le Cafe has great coffee. I can't say the best based on other places but the staff is so nice and speedy I plan on going back next trip to NY. The avocado toast was great, perfect bread. While we were in the city we tried the lavender late & the chai late both hot and iced. Both were 5/5 each time. Give this coffee spot a try! Typical NY spot that does not have alot of seating.

Can not recommend the atmosphere. The south american ladies (especially the one woth tatoos on both arms) have a very bad and disrespectful behavior with the customers. In challenging situations they get very aggressive. Fire them and hire new staff.

I think this coffee shop is alright. The staff is really friendly. But there is no bathroom. It’s more of a to go coffee shop. I had their pumpkin spice coffee which was alright and their savory scone that was also alright. But the person next to me really liked their breakfast sandwich.

I came in to this location today (9/13/23) around 3:30ish. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk. She made me an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. I told the only worker there (Hispanic female with long black hair) that I just wanted it hot. I didn't say Iced vanilla latte. I should have specified myself that I wanted a hot vanilla latte with oat. She then got frustrated and told me, "next time say hot!" I asked her, " say again?!?" Pretending I didn't hear her sly comment thur my headphones which were turned off. She stood shut. Needless to say there will not be a "Next Time." I work in the hospitality industry too and I never let a patron see me frustrated. Nor do I say a sly comment towards them.

3 people behind counter, no other customers in store. Only one guy filling orders. They prioritize grubhub over in person. I waited for a full 15 minutes after paying while 2 of the 3 people working there just stood around doing nothing and the one guy filling orders worked on an incredibly complicated 30 ingredient avocado toast which he painstakingly packaged up for delivery. Never again, what a waste of time and money. And the bagel suggested I was in Oklahoma not NYC.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Le Cafe Coffee! This is my first time going to a coffee shop in Manhattan and I will definitely be back. I didn't know what to order since there is a large variety of tea, coffee, and lattes. I wanted to get tea so I asked the barista to surprise me. Rasheed made me a London fog tea made with earl grey tea. It was tasty and exactly what I was looking for. Rasheed was inviting, friendly, and quick. I would strongly recommend this establishment!

I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for years. I can’t quite explain what it is, but this place gets everything right. It’s as if this shop found some kind of magic formula where they have consistently great coffee, snacks and pastries, and the people working here are really awesome as well, many of whom have been there a long time and seem to really enjoy what they do. Everything is efficient here, it’s set up with just enough space so that you can get in and out, or stay for a few moments. Because of all of these factors and more, this Le Cafe Coffee is my go-to; I highly recommend it.

My husband and I live right by this coffee place and have been customers for a few years. My husband gets us coffees and light breakfast every Saturday and Sunday. Last Saturday he was checking out his 75 usd bill for coffee and light bites to-go (since this place is tiny, no seating no bathrooms etc) the barrista, who knows us, asks him « was there something wrong with the service » my husband shocked asks « no why » she says « because you never leave any tip » (which is untrue by the way) my husband says « it’s a take-away place so I didn’t think its customary » regardless , my husband extremely embarrassed in front of other customers left - and never going back. Listen lady, we do tip handsomely, we are not cheap and you should not embarrass your customers. This is a to-go coffee place, you take your coffee and drinks from the fridge and walk out. I didn’t know tip for these places was considered customary since there’s no service involved. We are not going back.

We had our meeting this morning in this coffee shop. The place was very serene, and had the best of coffee than anywhere else in the city! We had their blueberry cheesecake, and it was delicious! The employees always wear their smiles and very accommodating. Our waiter, Andrew, keeps coming back to make sure we have everything, and if we need something! Thanks, Andrew!

Got a rose iced oat latte. The coffee was decent but I couldn't taste any of the rose flavor. FYI this is more of a to-go spot since there is very little space inside!

A very nice place to have coffee. The zaatar is a must try. I was helped by their Barista - Hannibal, an amazing guy. Would definitely recommend this place.

I'm in that part of town every Thursday afternoon and I always stop in if I have the time.

I am beyond disgusted. I've ignored the occasional little mistakes and mishaps with my orders since I've been coming here because I don't like to make a big deal over things but this time the barista left a penny in my drink which is obviously so very unsanitary and I didn't notice until I finished the drink. I went back right away to explain what happened and because I drunk the latte there's nothing they can do. Seriously. That's not okay in any way. Please CHECK YOUR DRINKS CAREFULLY BEFORE LEAVING THIS PLACE

Overall a great tiny coffe place with good pastry selection and super helpful and friendly service. 4 stars only because it is not too cozy inside, just 5 stools and a long counter table along the wall. But if you want to grab and go - it is awesome. I especially loved my za'atar croissant, very unique and savoury. The lady barista was very accommodating for my matcha preparation request. They have good selection of milk alternatives: pistachio, coconut, soy, oat, almond.

Shut the door on me at 3:05 pm when they claim they close at 4.

I’ve been here a couple of times and I can say they have a high quality coffee. It is freshly made every time, the ladies are super nice and helpful - they do super cool latte art -, the avocado toast is super tasty and the place is super clean! highly recommend!!

I LOVE this coffee shop - I found it a year and half ago and have been there virtually every day since. I love La Colombe coffee, the taste is quality. The workers are fantastic, I consider them friends at this point and the service is always impeccable. Would highly recommend!!!!

I ordered a latte from Le Cafe recently. This was not a shop that was previously in my coffee rotation, but it will be now! Not only was my drink well-made but the barista, Hannibal, was also an absolute delight to interact with. It’s rare to find such amazing customer service in these kinds of shops, but Hannibal went above and beyond. I will start making Le Cafe my regular coffee stop.
