👍👍 The trip over to Staten Island should definitely be done when visiting New York. Even if you don't get off the ship at all and just drive back and forth. It's super cheap, you have an incredibly great view of One World, the Financial District and the Statue of Liberty and the whole thing is also won... The trip over to Staten Island should definitely be done when visiting New York. Even if you don't get off the ship at all and just drive back and forth. It's super cheap, you have an incredibly great view of One World, the Financial District and the Statue of Liberty and the whole thing is also wonderfully relaxing from the hustle and bustle of this wonderful, but now very crowded city.

Took this Ferry ride on a windy late Tuesday afternoon in April. Lovely views, not crowded at all. $4 each way. About 30 minutes start to finish.

The view from the ferry is absolutely stunning. You get pretty close to Statue of Liberty. Worth to the mansion that it’s free.

It’s free! It lasts 25-30 min and comes every 30 min on the weekends when we went. Good view of the statue of liberty and the brooklyn bridge 🌉 without having to pay a cent. 🤠👍

When I need a place to relax, I go over there it’s free. It’s beautiful go during sunset time so get on the ferry an hour before sunset and then on the way back I have the most beautiful view that you’ve ever had in your life. Amazing views, stunning, stunning, mind blowing breathtaking

Great way to get close to the Statue of Liberty - and it's free. Just translate and enjoy the Statue of Liberty and the sensational view of the skyline. When driving back you have to change and quickly so that you don't have to wait for the next ferry.

For only $2.75 you can take a cruise around several iconic landmarks including Coney Island and the go for a dip in the ocean at the Rockaways.

Unfortunately if you live on Staten Island you have to take the ferry more often than you will like to. The workers act miserable !! Lack any sign of empathy for riders. I was once 9 months pregnant coming home from a play and my family made it before the doors closed and I was legitimately a minute away and the workers attempted to close line me so that I wouldn’t enter the doors .. 9 months pregnant and all. Instead of letting me enter to join my family he instead allowed them to leave which makes no sense he was just being an a**. The ferry is either always late or early so the buses don’t align with the ferry either

This was a great ferry. We took it as a substitute for the boat tour because the tours were all sold out. You see a lot of the sights on the water, it is efficient and comfortable, and overall it gets the job done.

The best thing in New york is that it's free. The worst thing is that the St. George Station and the Manhattan station have a lot of homeless and mentally ill people mulling about, so don't let the kids wander off alone. There is a huge police presence but still to be safe. The ride itself is fun with some cool views of Manhattan, New Jersey, Staten Island, and the Verrizono Bridge. So keep your camera handy. The station themselves have some decent small bites to have. The ferry runs every 15 min on week days and every 30 min on weekends.

The use of the ferry is free, it serves as a kind of public transportation from Manhattan to Staten Island and back. You can climb it and see the Statue of Liberty, without getting there, but also without paying a dollar. Outside there are many people trying to catch tourists and take them to the statue itself. We were less interested in long lines, so the ferry was a great solution for an easy and free trip

It's wonderful, because it's free. You have to wait a long time and try to get in quickly so you can have a good place outside. You can take very good photos. I highly recommend visiting it between the afternoon and evening so you can have great postcards. Disembark quickly so that it is agile in the entry of new people.

Free New York City ferry service that takes you to Staten Island and back. It leaves every 20 minutes and despite the amount of people you can see at the station, there is enough space on each journey. It is a highly recommended trip since you can appreciate Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty for free and rest from the hustle and bustle of the city.

I really liked it, it was my first ferry trip, it is safe and pleasant. On the other hand, if you want to go up to see the Statue of Liberty, as was my case, it is advisable to be one of the first to board.

The view on a Ferry ride especially on a summer day is simply stunning. The lovely Manhattan skyscraper skyline with lovely building architecture should not be missed. Be it the breeze, the waves rocking the ferry boat is a thrilling experience for under 2.75 bucks. Good clean fun experience.

On time and easily trackable. Pretty much what I need from a transit service. On the top, the views on Manhattan skyline are perfect and you do get a lot of it.
