I wanted to rate the arcade separately for this review. So I wanted to share a really fun experience. Came here for part of my sons 9th birthday. For 50 some bucks 5 of us played for a few hours. The kids and adults had so much fun with a really good selection of arcades. My favorite was The Walking Dead. Everyone was masked and there were sanitizing stations everywhere. You can opt for credits on a credit or on an app. We will be coming back soon!

Good overall, but it can use some work. Good value for the games. You can load a physical game card or add credit to a digital card on Dave & Buster's smartphone application. A helpful staffer at the ticket window assisted me when I needed to transfer my digital card's balance to a physical card. The games are all in working order, and the bathrooms are clean. Dave & Buster's QR-code re-direct for ordering at the bar, however, does not work, as advertisement add-ons seem to prevent the page from loading. Pity being that ordering through a menu screen may be a surer bet than the distracted bartender (with just five customers including myself). Then again, gratuity is automatically added to the check, so there is zero incentive for barstaff to be responsive.

It was my daughter's birthday and we decided to stop by Dave & Buster's for lunch. We were a group of seven. We arrived at about 2pm and there was no line. We were greeted by security and a friendly host who showed us to our table. I suggested that we'd order from the Eat & Play Combo menu. Our server (Aaron) was fantastic. He was patient and quite funny. The food came in about 10 minutes which gave us plenty of time to chat amongst ourselves. The food was hot, savory and tasty. Everyone cleared their plates. There were a few party's going on and they seemed to be well supervised. The gameroom was electric. Flashing lights, bells ringing, screams and music filled the air. My daughter and her friends were in their element. After a few hours of playing games we used the restroom then headed home. 4 1/2 Stars.

We were in Times Square and decided to stop by because we've been wanting to go to. D&B. The restaurant and play area are on the 3rd floor but there are escalators for both up and down sides. The sports bar was welcoming and the service was very fast and friendly. Our hostess took our order quickly and brought drinks very fast. We had the appetizer plate of nachos. It was big enough for the 2 of us to share. I do spicy, my wife not so much, I found them very good, but just a touch too much heat for her. We then went to play a few games. If you're just going for the games, there is also a bar/adult beverages in there also. Big selection of games, but its not cheap. We had a great time, looking forward to visiting again.

Took my godson here the other day for the first time. The staff was very friendly and kind. Was impressed by the number of games they have and the technology used in the place. Everything is done on a card no more quarters and tickets. The food was decent and the menu was def kid friendly. The speed in which everything was prepared was also nice. The Ticket Exchange Shop had a wide variety of items pretty sure we spent a good 30-minutes in there trying to maximize the most amount of goodies. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained so important! Will def be back!

A classic arcade and fast food establishment. Kids can find endless arcade games and multiple Carnival games. You'll be surprised by how far and wide this venue is behind it's modest street entrance. Do note the atmosphere here is of a classic arcade with loud music, no windows and multiple flashing lights. You buy a card at the entrance (3$) and then load it up with money to spend playing. Each game you play can earn you points. When you're done, take your card to the prizes stand and you could use your earned points to take a small freebee back with you.

I’m only giving this place 2 stars because the food was actually very delicious. I ordered the Chimichurri bowl (seen in photo) and was very impressed. My boyfriend got the chicken parm and enjoyed it as well. They did bring someone else’s food order to our table and dropped it with our appetizer and walked away. It sat there for about 20 minutes before we were able to tell them of their mistake. I’m pretty sure they dropped it at the correct table without even replacing for a fresh plate. My boyfriend advised against it to the waiter who inquired if we had touched it and shrugged his shoulders when we said we had not - pretty careless. The gaming area is very small and crowded (We went on a Saturday night) Not many game options and several games were broken or working incorrectly. Bar staff was very unfriendly and inattentive. Bathrooms were disgusting and unclean.

Apart from the games nothing is good about this place. Understandable it is not a fine dine but the food service is just terrible here. When we went it was average crowded, our order took exactly 40 minutes, the servers were very unresponsive. I ordered fish and chips, the fish was mostly just thick oily tempura batter layer. I had to remove the oily crisp layer and just eat the fish. Definitely not a good dine in place. For games they have their app, it is easy money reload and tap to pay . Pretty convenient.

We had food and visited the arcade area after. Food was good, I had the flatbread pizza and my boyfriend had the buffalo wings (too spicy even for him). The service was very quick and friendly. The arcade area is good fun and has lots of choices. I just felt like there were lots of people with little babies and strollers blocking the way around the games (we went around 9pm). Some of the machines where faulty and need fixing but overall was a nice experience and I recommend a visit.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE! WAS huge fan of D&B until this visit. They charged $11 just to get in because of some boxing ppv event. Their credit card machines were having issues. Took over 20 minutes for server to take order for drinks. Place wasn't that busy. Server couldn't take order for game cards. Had to wait in line that was 20 people deep to use promotional coupon. After just buying game cards without discount, many games were out of service. Many broken games still take your money. Games with balls to throw only had 2 or three balls. NYC dave and busters SUCKS!!!! NEVER AGAIN. Update.... Went to their website after D&B suggested in reply to thus review. Entered all my info and pasted the text from this review. True to form, it would not allow over 500 characters. After erasing over half of my text, it still didn't work! Deja Vu.... Sheesh!!!!

I love the fact that you can play games while you eat and watch sports. It’s a cool concept for all ages. The location at Atlantic Terminal is big not the biggest I’ve been to in NY. The Times Sq D&B is grander with a nicer restaurant space and more games in the arcade. Food is well priced but can be more expensive if you want a full meal. The appetizers and meals were divine. Recommending this place for friends to just have fun, families with kids and lovers on dates.

Dave & Buster’s is an absolute amazing attraction and entertaining video arcade center. In September of 2018, I brought and treated myself and my wife at Dave & Buster’s (specifically the Times Square Branch) to celebrate her Happy Birthday Of 2018!!! Dave & Buster’s is packed with a huge selection of entertaining attractions and games. Both my wife and I enjoyed playing the Terminator, Jurassic Park & the Transformers games!!! We also enjoyed playing hand hockey and shooting hoops!!! My wife and I had great fun celebrating her birthday at Dave & Buster’s and we definitely recommend for video game fanatics to visit this great arcade!!!

I went yesterday February 3, 2024 with a group. I must say it has got to be the worse Dave and Busters nothing really worked right the Mario Kart was broken, the down the clown was broken and had only one ball, the tap the light game was broken, some coin slots broken, the bean bag machine game broken and missing bags. The service at the bar broken. Seriously it was that bad. I spent 60 on the card and couldn't even use all of it on games because of how bad it was. This is a main reason I pulled out my investments on Dave and Buster's (PLAY) stock. Not to mention last year's fiasco with them and food service.

My fiancée and I had a great experience, food is amazing the people who work there are just so sweet and welcoming. The games in the arcade were just awesome they had just added more new games to play, with our tickets we won a bluetooth speaker. We'll definitely come back soon.

Went here when on New York with work in Nov 2021. It’s a standard Dave and Busters but really great entertainment. Drink is fantastic and the food is fast but great. Great value for a couple of hours of good fun.

Went there today. Had a fantastic time with the kids. A little pricey but well worth it. Go twice a year. Take the kids, they'll love it! Centrally located in Manhattan. Great experience! 💯👍🏽

This place sucks because it has been 2 hours waiting for food for us and our kids. It is my nieces birthday and the obviously angry staff made the experience the worst. We tipped well but i don’t even think they deserve a cent. Inattentive staff that show that they don’t care. They didn’t clean the table nor and dishes. The people around us received food before us and mind you we spent 300$ and tipped 20 freaking percent. The so called birthday cake that came 2 hrs after ordering doesnt even have a lit candle. Don’t come here, don’t waste your time, don’t waste your money. Go somewhere else please.

We had a great time, price to game play options were fair. Prizes were good, but they could have had better under 500 points options. Staff was friendly as well.

Perfect for your arcade needs while in the Times Square area. Staff is friendly and the wait wasn’t long, which can be surprising for being in a big tourist area. Will definitely take my kids there again next time we are in New York City.

Always loads of fun! I love visiting Dave and Busters whenever I get the opportunity, this was my first visit in New York with my children and I was very impressed. There are several negative reviews on here and I'm not really sure what they were expecting?? If you want good food and a fun environment this is the place; if you're looking for fine dining maybe this isn't for you- But equally that is reflected in the price. I will definitely be returning as the eat and play promotion is great value

First timer... And it won’t be the last... Food was delicious and staff were friendly! Ordered the classic burger and triple bacon burger... Drink was non alcoholic strawberry lemonade, it was delicious!! For dessert the churros with caramel and chocolate dipping sauce ( tasted like Hershey chocolate syrup and canned caramel nothing special)... I would recommend this place... Food and Games what more could you want...

Terrible Have to order everything on your phone. Nobody ever stops by your table. Never got our kids drinks. Delivered wrong beer. Makes you tip/pay prior to ordering. No tip was deserved. Would never return.

This is the place to have fun on with your kids (or no kids!!). My two boys kept asking me to go back to Dave and Busters all week after our evening of food and arcades. They had so much fun and so did I. The food was great, the service excellent and the games were top notch.

Dave & Buster's combines arcade games with a restaurant and bar experience. The sports bar and restaurant area typically offer a diverse menu and a variety of drink, however the noise level in the establishment can be quite high due to the combination of arcade games and social activities. It’s a fun and nice arcade for people of all ages. You also have the opportunity to win tickets for prizes.

This place is fun, some machines are ripping you off and you pay but the game won’t start. The service wasn’t the best, we ordered 4 drinks, she made us 3 and then go to other couple, when we asked why isn’t she completing our order she said to us in rude way to be patient. The atmosphere in this place is nice though.

Terrible experience, terrible service. Adding to this since Dave & Buster's website only allows 500 characters.... "The place is very unprofessional and offers terrible service. We waited 20 minutes after getting sat before someone brought us menus or talked to us. After putting our order, a new server took over and wasn't attentive at all. After ordering food and 3 beers, it somehow took longer to get the beers than for the food order to come out. We had to go to the bar to get napkins for ourselves and ask a different waiter for silverware. The waitstaff were very inattentive to their tables, just chatting and hanging out, while we just had to fend for ourselves. It was over 40 minutes between sitting and getting food. Staff was unprofessional to the point that I saw a someone storm out the kitchen while another member tried to pull them back AND say a waiter chase another one, across the dining room and tackling them to the floor, which after one of them took their belt off to hit the other. It felt like being in a show on how to be the worst restaurant.... Such a waste of time and money "

My family enjoyed our time here and it was surprising to see that even families with very young kids were there near closing. Wednesdays had a very good special that we took advantage of and both kids found games that they enjoyed a lot of. Sad part is that we cannot use our leftover tokens in another country.

After a mishap with our movie tickets we ended up in a bit of a layover here. This place is tons of fun irregardless of some of the games in need of repair. Good food & super friendly staff.

Went in last night and it was half empty in the restaurant. Got seated real quickly but it was 10 minutes watching 4 servers stand around talking, one with his pants sagging down and full underwear showing, nobody took a drink order, brought water, nothing. We got up and walked out before our order could even be taken. There are so many options to eat in the area, save yourself and go elsewhere. The staff can't be bothered to work.

The best days to come here is on a Wednesday because the games are half off so you don't need to spend a lot of money. The most I spent to play 90% of the games was only $30. The food is ok. It's not the greatest but also it's not the worst but it is a little pricey. So it's best to come on a Wednesday to balance it out. Also they do offer military discount (veterans included) on the food only and as of writing this the discount is 15% just need to show proof.

I ordered the voodoo pasta and the noodles were over cooked and mushy. The waitress was nice but she didn't bring our change back and assumed the $7 was for her. Our bill was $17. Probably would have given it to her but that's not the point. Also said she didn't have change for a larger bill because she wasn't busy enough to break it. Would have been nice if she at least tried to ask one of the many other registers in the facility. Definitely not going back.

I went here last year for my birthday and I loved it. The best part about it was that it’s right above an Applebees, where I had a bourbon street steak and an Oreo shake on my birthday (and yes, that’s the same meal from the song Fancy Like by Walker Hayes).
