Worst experience dining. There’s many things disappointed here. 1. It’s not a rooftop restaurant as advertised. We felt down since we see the table we got. 2. The service is not really good as upscale restaurant and the price. So pricey compared to the quality of food, drinks and the service. 3. We have ordered two recommended cocktails, they are the worst cocktails I had tried in my life. It’s tasteless like a water, there’s nothing in glass, just a ice and some liquid. It’s so poor drink in a tiny glass with full of ice for $21 cocktails. I saw most of tables returned their drinks (cocktails) so I don’t think we are the only one who doesn’t like the drinks. 4. We had a Surf & Turf, The steak is good but the lobster was so tough and dried like they were cooked and left over since many days. So so bad!! Unacceptable at all. 5. We were charged for just a crushed black pepper on top of our tiny steaks for $10. 6. The main course was served in room temperature. We expected something Wow for a Steak house. But it’s not, they just dumped a piece of steak and lobster with two cups of sauce. There’s no any food presentation or decoration for almost $100 one main dish, $79 for Surf and Turf + $18 asparagus + $5 black pepper + taxes. We paid about $300 for two people for this worst dining experience here. The money is no problem as long as you serve us with the same quality of food, drinks and the service. 7. First and last time here. You had ruined my night.

Had the most lavish experience at STK when visiting NYC two weeks ago. My server William was next level, hilarious & took care of me so well for my birthday!! The food & cocktails were BOMB as usual but it was the atmosphere and service that made it stand out! Thank you to the whole team and ask for William if you want dinner & a show!

I've been to STK at other locations but this one at west village is the best 👌. The industrial building with the inside decor 🙌 👌, service was exceptional, food and drinks were great. I came here for restaurant week 2024 (good menu with great options), they also have an amazing happy hour M-F until 6:30pm, with cozy lounge area and two bars, great to meet new people or grab a drink and bites after work. All drinks are top shelf 👌. Great restaurant to visit if you're around the area.

Definitely a good vibe. We ate on the roof which had a great atmosphere. The food was decent could have been a little better but was good for the most part. Our waiter was great, gave good suggestions on what to order including drinks. Music was good. Would go back.

We stopped at STK yesterday for my boyfriends birthday and I am so happy I made this choice! We have been too many steakhouses in different countries and states and although the service has been great, this time the service was outstanding! Atam, mike, and Alexander (my apologies if any of the names are misspelled) made us feel at home and we’re so attentive. There personalities were so welcoming and entertaining it was a joyful experience. My boyfriend had the biggest smile on the way out and I was happy he had a great birthday. The food and drinks were amazing we wished we could have eaten more but we left so full and satisfied. We will be coming back regularly.

Got there and was seated promptly. Our server Kevin was personable and attentive. Ambiance, lighting and music was was I was expecting. Food and drink came out very timely. I loved the experience and cannot wait to return.

Beautiful restaurant! Nice music. The staff on point with service. Very attentive to your needs. We hall had the steak. Very good and tender. I had waffle fries with cheese. My friends had the máshed potatoes. All the food was good. Drinks not so much. I had a margarita it was not great. My friends had a fruity Martini which was not good. Overall we had a great dinner.

First time at STK and I am looking forward to my next visit. Atom was an amazing waiter. He was attentive and answered all my questions thoroughly. Jeffrey also provided excellent service. They helped make the dining experience a memorable one. Also thank you to Ze for making my birthday extra special.

It was my first time eating STK downtown this past Saturday. The quality of the food and drinks was great and also the atmosphere. I highly recommend the Ny Strip steak, it was one of the best steaks i had in a long time. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. I wish I would of got his name. I would certainly request him next time. It makes such a big difference when you have a great server/waiter. However, Disappointed with the decline in dress standards, one would expect of such a nice restaurant. A lot of the people there were dressed in street clothes, looking like they came straight off the street corner. Most steak houses have a strict dress code, I was very surprised to know STK doesn't enforce a dress code. STK should to post a dress code or have a separate dining room for the less casual customers and another for the more appropriately dressed to the occasion, pricing and reputation of STK as a premier restaurant with excellent food, service and an ambiance that makes each visit memorable and inspires one to return.

Nick, Josh, & Josè made my first time at STK amazing!! The drinks and food were very good. I loved everything about this location. The service and the energy were beyond good. I loved the ambiance as well. Definitely will be returning!

This was the best birthday experience my girlfriend and I could ever ask for. It was her first birthday that we spent together in our new place and it was a memory we will cherish forever. STK is not just a restaurant but an entire experience. From the minute you walk in you are being treated as more than a customer, they are trying to bring you into a party, one in which you feel like you’ve known these people forever. Our server Dee was the best server I’ve ever had, and he made sure today was a special day for us and I couldn’t have appreciated it more, and the manager Sally was also very kind to come and wish my girl a happy birthday. This place is a certified top class restaurant but they still have an atmosphere that will make you feel at home. And I haven’t even gotten to the food yet! The chef here must have gotten some intel on what i eat and how I like my food prepared because it was to die for! The roasted lamb rack basically melts in your mouth, and the Mac and cheese is so good it’ll give grandma a run for her money. And if you are drinking, you MUST try the strawberry cobbler. Amazing experience thank you Dee!!! Next time you come here request Dee as your server if you wanna have a good time, I know I will!

Came here to celebrate our friends birthday and even though we were late we were still seated fairly quickly. The ambiance is nice and the staff is friendly. For drink I ordered the Strawberry Cobbler pretty good, and you get atleast 3 sips for $21. Our server recommended we get the family platter, which included 2 different steaks, shrimp, 2 lobster and sides. The Tomahawk Steak was not good. It was mostly charred. Everything else was fairly decent except the fact that the kitchen forgot one of our sides which we still never received, just like they forgot our appetizer. On top of the price we were told about the platter we received 4 butters @ $12 each and the PEPPER on top of our steak were $10 per steak. Almost an extra $70 for butter and a crack of pepper. That butter better have had healing abilities for that price. For 6 people we had a pretty hefty bill. I wish they would have given us a heads up about the extra charges . They also lost points for the table not being fully cleaned, and the lip prints on the wine glasses. Overall a 3.9.

My husband and I had dinner on their rooftop patio last night. The vibe was great, the sunset and the view was beautiful. The food was amazing! And our server William was awesome. He went above and beyond was very friendly and made our experience perfect.

We came here with my team for my bosses retirement party. we arrived just when they opened, we had prime seating at the front of the restaurant. Our server Jeffrey was amazing and very knowledgeable of all the menu serving he even suggested family style dining which we did and we absolutely loved it. The bar prepared the best martini I’ve ever had in my life, Chef Junior came out and introduced himself to us and that was just the icing on the cake. I really love and appreciate the hospitality and I will definitely be back to dine again.

Came here for my boyfriends birthday & had an amazing dinner! DelMonico steak, Mac & cheese, Yukon Mashed & asparagus were great! Bridget was our amazing server who made the best recommendations and was incredibly knowledgeable on the entire menu & food in general. We loved everything, especially Bridget!!!!

I recently visited STK for my 5 year anniversary, and I have to say that I was blown away by the service provided by our server, Atom. He was not only knowledgeable about the menu, but he was also very personable and was incredibly accommodating to our needs. The rib eyes we ordered were delicious and cooked to perfection, and the Strawberry Cobbler was delicious. Atom was able to make great recommendations based on our tastes. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for a romantic anniversary dinner, and Atom went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. He even provided complementary wine and dessert that were very both delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special occasion, and I would specifically request to have Atom as your server. He truly made the experience special for my partner and me. Thank you, Atom, for making our anniversary one to remember

It was the most terrible experience in a restaurant of this level. I mean 0 level. When we arrived at the restaurant and announced that we had a very important date, my boyfriend and I were asked to go up to the 4th floor and were seated at a table near the kitchen, where the waiters carried trays over our heads. We asked to change our table and were offered a table under a heater and between two other couples. We asked to change our table for the THIRD TIME, we were offered a small table on the ground floor in an almost empty room. But that is not all. Our waiter spoke to us so arrogantly that we got the feeling that he at least earned more than all the people present in the restaurant. We placed an order, but were reproachfully told that they were ready to also write down appetizers, salads and additional dishes. Attempts were made to sell us other dishes, we of course understand that this is his responsibilities, but it sounded like we were too little willing to spend. When I asked for a glass of wine rather than a bottle (since I practically don’t drink alcohol), it was probably taken as an insult. Perhaps we were simply unlucky with the hostess and waiter, but the management should think about it. I give one star to the excellent cook(s) who prepared a wonderful dinner

We stopped by this restaurant/bar as we spotted from the high line earlier today and we were able to get a table on the rooftop. The rooftop has an inside section due to the weather (cold) they won’t served outside but you can come out and take pictures. The food was really good, our steak was on point and the tagliatelle mushroom truffle pasta dish was AMAZING! We were served by Jeffrey who he was very honest and joyful, his recommendations were absolutely on point and he did a great job overall. We will definitely will be back to this place again.

Great sunset views but short and small rooftop dining area. what will also be small is the cash in your wallet after you pay this bill. Wow! Feel like I just paid rent… The views are unobstructed so that’s a good thing. And the cocktails are well made, $21 each. All were good except the watermelon one. They recommend it but it’s actually the worst…maybe they wanted to get rid of it idk. Good times all in all though. I recommend.

Had dinner in the restaurant. I booked rooftop, thought it was nice but wasn't the way it was presented in the picture. The dinning area is nice and feels of a fine dinning restaurant (kudos to management for allowing us to change tables). We had prawn cocktails, NY strip steak, rack of lamb, fries, creamy spinach and chocolate cake. Steak was tasty / juicy but for my taste a lil bit salty and on one corner was charred. Lamb of rack was done well but the taste was average. Chocolate cake really good (recommended by staff - so thanks). Service was good, attentive, friendly but felt perhaps the are overwhelmed or are in low numbers as we had to call to get certain things i.e. tissues, dessert menu.

First off, the service at STK is above and beyond. Our server, Marko, explained everything in the restaurant week menu clearly and concisely. He also gave his recommendations that helped me choose what I wanted. All the dishes came out in good order so that we could finish each one before the next. The only thing that I would recommend is that you think about how much you can eat because I came in pretty hungry, but the app, entree, and desert from the restaurant week menu is really filling.

The atmosphere and service were great. They were very accommodating with our reservation when I booked the wrong section, especially on Thanksgiving day. The temperature of my steak was not correct. It was overcooked. I don't send food back regardless of the cost, just not that trusting. I just sucked it up and ate about half. Everything else we ordered was on point.

Had such an amazing experience here, food was amazing! Drinks were hitting. Dee did such a great job taking care of us. Absolutely one of my top 5 servers I’ve experienced in nyc and I’ve lived here for 15 years. He was attentive, caring, knowledgeable and just overall amazing. We all know New Yorkers don’t write reviews unless we are mad at a service or have an amazing experience and how great is it that it fell under the latter! The staff was so great overall though and we had such an amazing experience. Thank you Dee for being the difference in an industry where customer service can be lacking at times.

Great experience for my friends birthday. We chose to dine on the roof top and just in time for the magic hour. As views goes in NYC it was the GREAT. Although they forgot to bring her drink flight and write happy birthday on her desert plate we still had an amazing time. WOULD definitely choose to eat here again, we hear they have an amazing happy hour. We're looking forward to going back.

So my family and I were shopping in the area. And while on Facebook, we saw an ad about STK. So, the wife and I decided to go. Man, what can I say… my family of 4 was seated at a booth and was served immediately by Dee. He was on point from drink orders to timely with food. Did not experience anything negative. I would definitely come back and ask to be in Dee’s section. Will surely give the service a score of 110%.

Amazing dinner and amazing service! We ordered from the restaurant week menu and everything was delicious. Our waiters Seth and Dee were attentive and made excellent suggestions about the food and drinks. Will definitely return!

Went in to sit by the bar. Ordered the lobster linguini. It was EVERYTHING!!!! And they DO give plenty of lobster! It wasn't just a few little pieces where you felt ripped off. Their pork belly/ bacon was good, too. Had a light sweet glaze, served over some type of slaw (didn't eat the slaw, tho). Also had their watermelon mint martini. That was good, too (not pictured). When coming here, make sure you have a lot of money because their dishes are pricey, and most cocktails start at $22. But soooo worth it

Nick our server was amazing!! He was welcoming and quite knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was delicious I can't wait to come back. Zorey made some tasty drinks and shots to top it all off!

Been to this spot 3 times. Always a big vibe! From the moment you walk in until you leave they make you feel special! Dee was our waiter this time , he did such a good job! Cracked jokes, gave good tips and was on it. My favorite STK restaurant! 3rd time was the charm 🤣 Dee knows what’s up!

Jeffrey took amazing care of us serviced us very kindly and FAST ! Asked him for a few recommendations and all of his recs were amazing ! Very attentive service as well !! Love the mini wagyu burgers !!
