Not recommended restaurant. The food is too way expensive especially the Dimsum. We waited 20mins for the siumai and it taste terrible. The sticky rice is too small for the price of $8/2

I used to go to the location in Chinatown, which I think is closed now, so I was delighted to see that they have this location on the upper West side. Very friendly team of servers. Everything we had was tasty and similar to what I remember of the downtown location. The only thing I would say is that the prices are a little crazy for dim sum. If you were there for good whether they have a large space outdoors, that is very pleasant.

The food was as good as I remember! It’s definitely not like the all place. This place is tiny and you don’t have the carts being pushed around. I’m Just glad the food is just as delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful! Make sure you make reservations by call not email though and make reservations it gets busy! Highly recommend for the food!

I have been at the Jing Fong downtown many times, and it’s just amazing, but this one in the UWS is awful and a waste of time and money. The food was poorly cooked, we had grease packages, the beef skewers tasted funny, and it needed to be crispier, the veggie dumplings were bland, and the dough was raw. DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION — MAKE THE TRIP TO DOWNTOWN.

One of the many overrated “must visit restaurants” in NYC. Staffs were quite rude and the restaurant is unsanitary. Food is not that special and pricy.

This place is a great dumplings spot! 🥟 Jing Fong on the UWS offers an wide variety of delicious 🤤 dumplings and classic Asian dishes 🍽️ - definitely get the Chicken 🐔 Siu Mai and the BBQ Roast Pork 🐷 Buns! Prices 🏷️ are fair. I wish their service was faster and that their AC 🌬️ worked better!

I was craving for some good dumplings and this place did amazing! I got their siu mai dumplings and chicken pan fried noodles. The food was piping hot. The dumplings were flavorful and the filling was delicious. The pan fried noodles had a lot of veggies and the noodles had an interesting fried texture. I got their lychee soda as well, which was great and perfect for a hot sunny day. The service was quick. They have a very limited menu though, would be nice to see more options. All in all, it was a great experience.

The food here is fabulous - very authentic with carts and a great atmosphere. I brought a school group here. Claudia and her amazing team prepared a delicious meal. It was many of my students' first time having Dim Sum, and they loved it!

Your usual soup dumplings, pork bun and shumai can never go wrong. The scallion pancake is super crispy and good. The shrimp rice wafer roll is tremendous. Highly highly recommended

Dim sum is order style, not cart style like the Chinatown location.

The upper west side location is a great place for dimsum. It is not as crazy crowded as the location in Chinatown and yet the food quality is still excellent. I think this location has a little less variety than Chinatown though. Highly recommended!

Excellent food overall. Was very available for tables on a Tuesday evening. The salt fried pork chop was excellent. The roast pork bun was solid but I wouldn’t get it again. Shumai was excellent as was the soup dumpling. My friend also got the general tsos chicken which was a very good version. Overall a solid dining experience at reasonable prices for nyc.

Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Jing Fong has quick service and tasty dishes. Definitely recommend stopping in to give it a try yourself.

Pretty decent food for the price. Of course you can get better dim sum in Chinatown but this place is good enough to satisfy your cravings. The shrimp dumplings were probably my favorite. The peking duck dumplings were kind of mid (the purpleish dumplings) and the chicken lo mein was kind of bland (nothing a bit of chili paste/chili oil couldn’t fix). Overall, better than average experience.

Very good dim sum!! Thin skin and tasty fillings for shrimp dumplings and duck taro mesh dumplings. Stir fried beef and vegetables are very good too! Would go again next time in NYC.

Had dim sum on a weekend and we had a good meal. Got a seat right away at noon.

Went around 11:30AM, and they didn't have the dim sum carts, just a menu-based system. Food itself was just okay. Some things, although they looked nice, felt like the quality I could've made at home... (why does the duck filling have the consistency of refried beans?)

As always. We usually go to one that it’s in China Town neighborhood, and it was our first visit in UWS location. Compared to China Town Jin Fong, most of the dimsums are made when kitchen has the order. We experienced, what they called, Dim Sum Carts in China Town, and the Dim Sums were sometimes dried so that it was a bit tricky to get it off from the paper that came underneath for plating. However, UWS location had amazing service and fresh cooked Dim Sums. We ordered Shu Mai,Har Gow, Crab Spinach Dim Sum, Pork Bun, Sweet&Sour Soup, Beef fried rice, Prawn Lobster Sauce. We ordered enough to eat for three people and still got the bill under $100 Fast service, great food, fresh and good atmosphere with open kitchen! Highly recommend

All the food we order was very delicious. The restaurant was busy so the servers were in a fast pace and may seem little rushing but it was understandable for us.

Really good DimSum, restaurant was full but luckily we could get a two seats table quickly. Service is fast and delicious

How does a place like this not have wontons? The shrimp chow fun was great. Pork buns, har gow and pan fried shrimp and chive also very good. Pan fried pork were very heavy. I hope to have the wonton noodle soup next time.

Cocktail priced at $14~$16 with mediocre quality in substandard glassware. Servers lack very basic knowledge of wine and liquor. Inside the huge empty bar, a gentleman wearing a big black mask was watching his smart phone. Was he the bartender?
