Back in the day, this medical building was called Saint Vincent’s Hospital. One of the best hospitals in New York City. All my siblings were born there, some cousins, and some nieces and nephews. All the staff were friendly and very nice. Whenever major illness struck, we went to Saint Vincent’s. Glad to see its new name and that this medical facility still exits.

I rushed here around 4 AM on a Friday morning due to severe abdominal pain and other symptoms I'll spare the audience :) I'm guessing I was very lucky because there was no wait whatsoever. The guys at check-in (security/intake) were clowning around. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but being doubled over in pain and having to listen to their BS got on my nerves. But I'm gonna give them a pass because of the actual care I received once admitted. I was taken care of by Natasha Williams (PA) and cannot praise her enough. She ordered me an abdominal CT scan, coupled with several blood tests. She and the team (probably just the radiologist but who knows) were able to identify quickly and precisely what was wrong with me. To be honest, I've never experienced such a precise diagnosis. It's even more impressive because it was in an emergency setting. They gave me IV antibiotics over several hours to clear inflammation. I went from being in some of the most excruciating pain of my life to feeling 100% within 12 hours after discharge. Truly remarkable. I would watch a "House" spin-off starring Natasha

Shante, was very rude at the reception desk on the sixth floor, Orthopedics. She yelled at me aggressively in front of other patients before I took this video. It was so rude, she rolled her eyes at me constantly and called another receptionist or nurse to deal with me, all the while openly talking trash to me to the other reception in front of me and other patients. Another patient who was listening next to me defended me as well. I already have pain from my injury, but She called the supervisor as she pretended to be a victim and she bullied me, ordered me to sit down or that she would cancel my appointment. No wonder this hospital has such bad reviews. I went to Lenox health Greenwich hospital. April.11.2023 8:30am And She couldn't say her name until the end. Why? Because her attitude? She didn't need to be so rude.

The worst place to go for an emergency! 2 hours and they didn't even check on my daughter who was with high fever and throwing up. Citymd said this was an emergency and to go there for an emergency sonogram for my child and they didn't even check in to see if she was okay. They left us sitting for 2 hours, not even to set up registration. I asked for a thermometer to check her because she got even hotter in the 2 hours. We waited and the nurse was extremely nasty and rude when i asked. She explained to me in those two hours that we waited (I'm not even being extra this is really true) the doctors was changing shifts and helping others. When we first came in there was no one there. By the time I spoke up they had gotten busy and explained that was their next excuse, that its busy now. We would have to continue to wait. Granted I understand that NOW it's busy but they couldn't even check on my child. This was the worst mistake ever going there. I had to transfer my child to an actual emergency room Beth Israel to actually get seen by a doctor and diagnosed. Please do not take your children to this ER. They do not take emergencies seriously! Let me end it by after I told them I was leaving I seen the whole Staff talking to each other and hanging out behind the desk. I highly recommend not to waste your time in there, especially if it's an emergency. Highly recommend Beth Israel for Pediatric emergency care.

This has to be the worst ER I have visited in my entire life. From the concierge to the ER intake nurse. Absolutely awful treatment and racist. they threw my mom in a corner while she has suffered a bad Fall to her back. And they did not even care to ask if she was in pain. I would ever come here ever again.

Not a safe place for women. Linda, the physician assistant was caring and compassionate. A few nurses were nice, others looked through you and just ignored any request for help. No blanket in six hours. One male in white top and black pants maligned a woman patient repeatedly. Then he went to the staff desk and they all laughed as he joked and humiliated patients. He came into my room with an angry demeanor and then literally ripped wires off my chest. He was stocky ,aggressive and scary.Misogyny and incompetence is acceptable in that so called healing place. I tried to tell the charge nurse and the assistant manager. No-one cared. SO SAD THAT OUR COMMUNITY HAS ONLY THIS TO REPLACE THE HOSPITAL WE TRIED TO SAVE. Lennox Hill Administration,do you care?

I have been a patient in this ER a few times now. This is my go-to ER as there is never a long wait. They are always very professional. The service is also very fast. The facilities are new and modern. The rooms are clean and spacious. The nurses, techs and doctors help you feel welcome and comfortable.

Besides the somewhat slow attention at times and the need for some non-medical equipment upgrades, I give the ER 5 stars because of the exceptional care provided by their doctors, PAs, nurses, EMTs and more medical staff. I was recently here because of an emergency and all hospital staff were knowledgeable, patient, and attentive despite difficult circumstances.

I had a foreign object embedded in my foot that was making it very hard to walk.. After waiting over an hour to see someone at this facility, I was instantly told that I needed to see a podiatrist instead of recieving treatment at the ER. I called many podiatrists and could not get an urgent appointment. My PCP told me to go back to the ER. I went to a different ER where they completely took care of my issue. My bill for the visit at this facility was $2,000. They did not treat me, and gave me bad medical advice. I would not go here again unless my life depeded on it.

after receiving less than great service, I took care of my bills via insurance and personal payment, and a year later the hospital sent me to collections for the entirety of my bill. they have since acknowledged that my payments were remitted, but have left my account “in review” and are unreachable to provide an update on my account. only posting in hopes that it saves someone else the headache!

The staff is very professional, the hospitality is A1, the doctors and nurses are great. I seen them treat my wife really well. They even have good snacks they give out to the patient and there guests. The only con is that you have to go through metal detectors to go into the Emergency room, lots of security. The front entrance security is not as friendly as the hospital staff. Overall I will start coming here in case of an emergency when I’m in the city.

If I could give zero stars I would, very rude staff and doctors. Was physically dropped off in an ambulance where I suffered a humerus break (which is extremely painful) where they had me wait an hour while I cried in the corner, they did not care and did not believe me. It was truly an unbelievable experience.

The PA was condescending, they couldn’t tell me what was wrong with me, and they made me sit there for 4.5 hours to do routine lab work (normally takes 20 minutes at Quest). The bill for 4.5 hours of waiting and roughly 10 minutes of “care?” $3200+ with a $500 copay.

Horrible hospital they let my cousin who had seizures wander out the room and almost left the hospital Then I asked where she was at every nurse said I don’t know, and didn’t care to find my cousin nurses(lui Jefferson),and a blad headed with black glasses are rude on emergency side of the hospital i’m getting upset and I’m talking loud. The nurses say ignore her and still didn’t look for my cousin I find my cousin brought back to her room. They immediately discharged her before her blood work came back and told her she was fine. Which she was not ok On the way back home. She had another seizure and had to be taken to a different hospital. I really want to give them no stars

My experience at this hospital's emergency room was deeply unsatisfactory. The excessively long wait time, the distressing presence of flies, the lack of communication and updates, and the absence of a conclusive diagnosis all contribute to an overall poor impression of the hospital's emergency care services. Spending a staggering nine hours in such an environment was incredibly distressing and concerning. Despite arriving early in the morning, I was not discharged until late in the afternoon, causing a substantial disruption to my personal and professional commitments. I urge the hospital administration to critically review and address these issues promptly to avoid future instances of substandard patient care.

Witnessed security in the lobby do everything possible to avoid escalating a situation with a discharged mental health patient. Where other hospitals might have brought in police with tasers so personnel could sedate and re-admit him to take control, they spent the extra time to finesse the guy off of the couch and out of the lobby on his own all while keeping other patients safe. This was around 7 am so 1st shift staff. Did a follow up visit on 3rd shift and no complaints. They get ya in, seen, and discharged faster than most. Smaller hospital so the lobby is right next to do doors- there's not a 5k walk to sit when you're injured or sick.

I brought my sister to the emergency room here around 8pm on a Sunday evening. We got checked in straight away and seen by PA within 30 mins of waiting. Everyone medical working here was so helpful and gracious. They attended to treating my sister frequently and we were discharged by 1am. Just to add, my sister and I are tourists from London, UK. We showed proof of our travel insurance and they advised how they can submit a claim. All went so smoothly! It was honestly impressive. You can tell the facilities are all relatively new, modern and clean! Cannot thank the guys in the emergency room enough and to be honest I am very shocked by the current overall rating because Lenox Health really impressed me (coming from someone where we have the NHS in the UK). Would highly recommend.

Never EVER EVER go here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you’re in an ambulance, Absolutely REFUSE to go there !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was picked up by 3 HORRIBLE EMS workers for starters. Walking sooooo slow while I was having a STROKE in the hallway of my apartment building. I climbed out of my apartment on my stomach because I couldn’t stand. I was sweating so much I was dripping wet. The EMS workers were in absolutely no hurry I was was screaming help. They rudely asked why I was outside my apartment. I was so I could be found if I passed out. I asked for water, an IV, anything they didn’t have. They didn’t even have a stretcher. They sat me in a chair, it was a bumpy ride to this sorry excuse of an ER. I was there from 6 am until midnight. They all told me I needed to go home. I told them I was too sick to even stand. They said there was absolutely no reason for this. They wouldn’t let my friend back because I was sleeping and wouldn’t talk to my parents to tell them any information because I was over 18 and sleeping and not available to give permission. By the time I was coherent to speak to my Dad at MIDNIGHT, he instructed them to run a CAT SCAN. They then saw my stroke and transferred me to Lennox Hill. It was absolutely unsafe. NEVER EVER EVER step foot in here

I had been hit by a car a few days before going in because I was feeling off and dizzy. A doctor saw me for about 5 minutes, he told me I was fine after a very light examination (touch your toes) and sent me home without a note or anything, while he did tell me I had suffered a mild concussion which then cost me a lot of grief at work. I’ve had great experiences at this hospital. Great doctors who I felt had my safety and well being at the forefront. My last experience though felt rushed.

I strongly urge anyone reading this review to exercise caution when seeking treatment at Lenox Health Greenwich Village. Due to their negligence and incompetence, I'm now dealing with serious complications from an injury that was initially misdiagnosed by two of their doctors. The primary intent of this review is to shield future patients from substandard and negligent medical care. I was seen by Mr. Jay Diamond, but cannot recall the name of the second doctor. After a sports injury, I visited this facility with a strong suspicion that my wrist was broken. Both doctors I saw assured me it was merely a sprain and would heal quickly. My concerns were dismissively brushed aside. A month later, due to worsening pain, I consulted another medical professional to seek clarity. Upon consulting with a hand surgeon, I learnt that I had a fracture that started healing incorrectly, I have some bone misalignment and will need a surgery. The second opinion and results starkly contrasted with Lenox Health's initial diagnosis. It's deeply disappointing to realize that my current health predicament could have been avoided with accurate and timely medical care. Now, my future holds potential arthritis or a complex surgery. Unfortunately, regardless of the path I take, my hand will never feel the same. I am faced with a lifetime of issues due to this oversight. Before discharging me, their primary concern seemed to be collecting payment. I was approached multiple times to immediately settle my bill, even though the care I received was clearly inadequate. I want others to be aware of my experience, and I urge potential patients to be vigilant. If you're considering seeking treatment here, please be cautious and consider getting a second opinion for any diagnosis or advice. PS: people who're not concerned with the health and well-being of others shouldn't work in the healthcare industry.

I'm not Kevin I'm his wife. Recently went to seek help for my foot which was swollen and painful. They took exrays nothing broke . Did not check foot with hands to see where pain was. No blood work. Sent home with a foot boot take Tylenol. That was a week ago this Sunday. Foot still swollen painful to touch. I am going to NYU tomorrow September. 27th. Maybe they can do a better job than this place. Never will I come here again. Professional 👎 Not taken care of the way it should have been.

I’ve never seen a more negligent front desk of an emergency room in my life. In full view of the waiting room, several doctors were outside - filming a parade on their phones while patients were still waiting in the emergency room endlessly (and were complaining about it). My own compliant was met with aggressive backlash from the staff at the front. I’ve never seen anything like this. Please, please, go somewhere else if you can.

Loved my experience here. I stubbed my foot hard on the ground and my toe was swollen so I came here to check it. They were all so nice and friendly, especially Dr. Hümmel who took care of me, she was really sweet. Felt good knowing I was surrounded by such professionals. Took some radiographs and it wasnt anything serious - just a minor hairline fracture. God bless.

Until my experience last week I would have given five stars or more if possible. Perhaps because I arrived during the change of shift things were different this time. I didn't really mind that everyone was in a hurry. And the front desk was kind and welcoming enough. The technician warmed up to me Although he seemed bothered at the outset. But he was kind when He realized I was in pain. When he looked at the x ray he told me he thought the doctor would order a cat scan. I did not have to wait a long time but one always expects to wait for a while in any emergency room. When the doctor did arrive She was cheerful enough and gave a very simple diagnosis. Telling me others would be in soon. All this time since arriving I was cold and I also had to use the bathroom. Eventually someone brought me a blanket for which I was grateful and when the nurse came she came with discharge papers and ibuprofen. It is possible I suppose that at this location drug addicts come by wanting drugs. I definitely am not 1ofthem. I came with broken bones- that was quite clear. I told the nurse that I had to go to the bathroom since I had arrived which was several hours before. She asked me to please wait until I leave. I told her that might be difficult, but I didn't want to make a scene so I waited. She gave me discharge papers but nothing in the papers referred specifically to me. All the information might be useful for someone who needed it. But I really wanted to know what the x ray had shoWN. NOTHING. I will say I was disappointed by most of the attitudes, the kind of lack of personal care that I was expecting and have received even in far BUSIER settings. Although they are quite efficient I felt the efficiency was as much carelessness this time around and I probably will not go back and I probably will not refer people as I have been doing. This time around there was an air of lackadaisical ness, I am sorry to say. I have Had wonderful Healing experiences here before. I am sorry to write this review because I dislike negativity but it seems as though this emergency room is in trouble. I will say couple people in sideline staff positions were kind & helpful. The nurses & Dr disappointed me.

While several people are responsible for the exceptional care that I received at Lenox Health Greenwich Village on April 20, 2022, I must single out Nurse Amy Liu. She personally conducted my intake interview and then thoughtfully kept me abreast of each step of my care, when the physician step away to deal with other patients. This made it clear to me how much your staff care for patients with serious injuries.

By far the best healthcare experience of my life. I had a pretty scary infection. The facility is immaculate, well-equipped, and every single staff member I interacted with was professional, well-informed, and clearly was glad to be working there. I was even able to call back about a question and they had me on with a doctor within 5 minutes. Unbelievable how well-run this facility is. I would give it 10 stars if I could. If you come here, please treat the staff with respect - they deserve it as it's very obvious they care about their work.

This institution is opaque about the fees it charges for routine procedures like x-rays. I was saddled with significant unexpected costs for routine health checks that I was led to believe would be covered by insurance. Subsequently I was hounded by debt collectors as I tried to argue with my insurance about covering the costs. Further, the billing was unnecessarily confusing. Buyer beware if you go to this health care provider.

This urgent care/emergency room is top notch. I’ve been to it a few times and each time I felt I was cared for in a respectful and kind way by all the staff. Recently I went and the doctor couldn’t have been kinder and had an incredible bedside manner; sitting down right next to me to discuss how I was feeling and what the best treatment he thought would be. It gave a sense of safety and was very validating being I was quite worried before I arrived. The nurses were friendly, humorous and hard working. And the shift managing doctor was direct and caught something in my lab results that required me to receive an IV and stay a few hours longer, which I was happy to do. I felt she had my best interest at heart. I left feeling much better and my heart was ease. I want to thank everyone that worked that shift when I was there. Thank you so much guys! If there’s place I recommend to anyone looking for an urgent care center, I always recommend Lenox Hill in GV on the corner of w13th and 7th Ave south. To me there’s no better place in the city. Thanks again!
