Mount Sinai is an old tired healthcare provider. It seems like they have been around for so long they are just too tired to care for anyone. You will Not get top notch healthcare at this facility. I had an appointment for an Ultrasound at 12 noon, I’m still sitting in an empty waiting room. The administration staff attitude is nonchalant, it’s like you are at some government office, they don’t really care you are there let aside you are sick or in pain. If I walk out of here northern they would notice nor they would care. It’s 1:15 pm. I’m still waiting here for someone to say something to me. They also have some ridiculous form for you to fill out that basically tells you you will be billed TWICE! You will get a bill for the physicians and a separate bill for the facility. I have never seen this double Practice anywhere, in nyc or anywhere in the world. This is definitely my last visit at Mount Sinai

Referred here for an X-ray. Had to wait an hour after my appointment time to be seen (why even have appointments?), the radiologist was very unfriendly and unhelpful and they charged so much. And they never delviered my results to my primary care physician, so I had to get another xray somewhere else! At least the front desk staff was nice. Update:

Be careul. They mess up the paperwork, lose insurance information and make up stuff to get you to pay, then have to the nerve to not accept their own info on the app as proof of payment. They want your receipt from your bank records and credit card records to prove that you actually payed your co-pay. They had the audacity to call me on the holiday weekend while I was recovering from an respiratory illness to took me out for about 6 days around Christmas Time .. If I was Tiny Tim I'd be in trouble. I thought I was in Albert Finney's SCROOGE as the soup guy, because they tried to pinch me like Philadelphian Welsh loan sharks.

I am a Mount Sinai regular. I like them but I think there is something fundamentally wrong with this location. Every healthcare worker I have interacted with at this location is off. They all seem abrasive, annoyed, and complacent. Thanks to my sparkling health, I have had to see specialists at different departments. They all seem annoyed. In contrast, all the other Mount Sinai locations are great. Friendly staff and decent doctors. I am not sure what is going on here. I am perplexed.

How dare they say they have a transparent pricing system? I am being followed at MS Union Square for a treatment that is supposed to cost nothing more than a copay under the Affordable Care Act. (And every single other person I know pays exactly just that). Instead I end up receiving uncovered $250+ facility fees for each visits. If you try to call, MS just sends you back to your insurance and vice versa. The only thing they are really good at is sending you notice reminders and hiring collection agencies to make sure they will drain every single penny from you. I go in every 3 months, and every time the service charged and reimbursements are a complete lottery, although I am getting the exact same service. (The doctor I am seeing is the only highlight here and my review is not about her).

Facility is nice, doctors are great. At the time of this review, Mt. Sinai practices split billing at this location and you may receive a "facilities fee" coded as a HOSPITAL facility fee. Even for annual checkups and regular doctor's office visits. This fee can be exorbitant and is different every visit. Insurance may only cover a portion of it because it is coded as a hospital facility and not a standard doctor's office even though it is considered In Network. Contact your NY state senator to pass a law to make it illegal.

I’ve had two apts with the same dr here (orthopedics dept) - first one I was seen about 45 min to an hour after my appointment time and the second appointment I came early as instructed and have been waiting over an hour and a half to be seen. Maybe I’ll update this if I’m seen soon. I filled out paperwork online ahead of time so I wouldn’t have to do much at the office which was nice but clearly not helpful. Their appointment system needs to be overhauled - the staff is nice enough but I don’t want to wait for 90 min to be seen.

I'm sitting in a room now and I just finished seeing the doctor. I didn't want to leave the building until I write this review. I love this facility, the staff are the best!!! My doctor really displays he loves his job. He treats me like a patient and not just a number. He listens to me. The nurses have the greatest sense of humor. ❤❤

I saw DR Mary LeeWong today for my allergies. She is such an amazing doctor. She listens to all your questions and give you the best answers. She defiantly really cares about her patients. She explained everything to me in detail so that I understood what’s going on with me. I highly recommend Dr Mary lee wong. I wouldn’t change her for no one else.

A 5 minute pulmonologist visit = $455. A standard blood test = $537. The doctor never called in the prescription and then ghosts me. The lab never sent me the results and says I have to go in person to get them. FAIL!

Called and told them that we will be running late and the reception told us that it's fine and the doctor will still see us. Came to the appt and was told to wait for 10 mins, and then the reception cancelled the appt because the doctor was no longer available. They did not give a reason for why the doctor was suddenly unavailable and told us to reschedule with the next available appt in a month. Reception did not seem to care at all and did not give any reason why appt was suddenly cancelled. Wasted our time and day. Stay away from this place.

The earliest appointment that I could get from them in June to see the specialist was on 11/9 9:30am. Did an online check-in as per their recommendations and arrived 20 minutes before an appointment - also as per their instructions. It was past 10am when i told them about the situation and that I had to go back to work but there was absolutely no sense of urgency from them. Not even an apology. They told me I could leave and return in March. Shameless.

I had an GYN appointment today with Dr. Abraham who was very condescending and very nonchalant. She went straight to telling me, that the pain I was having on my side wasn't from me having a cyst on my ovaries because it's impossible for me to be in that much pain when the cyst are very small. When I advised Dr. Abraham that 2 other doctors told me something different, she got quite and then she says if its fibroids, it can be taken out but doesn't mean your not going to be in pain and when I asked her take what out?? (she was talking by about my uterus)when I explained to Dr A that two others doctors told me and showed me why I was in so much pain and what option I had but I must go see a GYN...this Dr stands up and tell me she has to go check on some thing, so I tell I'm her okay then let me speak to a supervisor, this Dr turns around and says what happen you can talk to me. A MA said she'll get the Supervising nurse and long and behold the supervising nurse is as just as worst as the Dr Abraham the supervisor nursing wasn't any help and had no resolution she sat there listen to what I had to say and then Tells me I can see another doctor there but it will not be today because they're booked and the sad thing part is it was her physician that was not professional Or medically helpful. So that left me to leave the clinic and go outside and call other hospitals and clinics to get the services and the help that I need while I'm still in pain. I would not advise no woman to go to this clinic for GYN services..... UPDATE: Dr Abraham only texted me for nothing but HPV so do not ordering no other tests and she told me she was doing a Pap smear not a HPV test. Please stay away from this Dr she's dangerous for the African American community

Had an appointment at 1 with an emergency tag in my referral. However, waited for more than 1 hour. My question is if it is so delayed why don’t we schedule for 2 instead of keeping me waiting for no reason. Terrible operation.

All their slick advertising (TV, Online & mail) is a joke! Their luxury appointed facility at the crossroads of top Manhattan locations, Greenwich Village & Gramercy Park is a deceptive front. Their sign affixed to the entrance at the Union Square Facility states, "Walk-ins Welcome". That's a bigger Joke. I walked in on Sept. 23, 2023 to inquire about getting Allergy treatment/tests. I had to wait 25 minutes just to ask the question. The answer i finally got is proof that instead of spending hundreds of thousands of $$ on what's mentioned above, the money should be used to actually serve patients. I was told i could make an appointment with their SINGLE doctor dealing with Allergies for mid FEBRUARY.....4 & 1/2 months from the day i "walked-in". Give me a break!

Had out-patient surgery today. Been waiting over an hour for an on-call provider to call me back. They’re always in a hurry to get my credit card but definitely not in a rush to provide care.

Worst place ever to have an outpatient visit, because what they don't tell you is that they bill a "facility" fee in addition to the "provider" fee that inexplicably for a simple outpatient visit can run thousands of dollars. I'm supposed to have a co-pay of $40 for a visit but ONLY with Mt. Sinai Beth Israel do I also have to pay a "facility" fee. It is sort some of scam they have going here, and I'm a doctor saying this.

Doesn't look big from the outside, but it's pretty grand. Very clean and the staff I did encounter were all very nice. It got a bit confusing looking for the elevators & even the stairs. When attempting to leave, I walked out of radiology and followed the sign for elevators. Ended up making a damn full circle 🤭. Turns out I could've just made a right after exiting radiolody, but I didn't know & went straight till I saw the elevator direction arrow. Homer Simpson moment!

My allergy clinic with Mary Lee Wong continues for the past ten years to be awesome. Each appointment is always excellent. I am always seen in a timely manner. The doctor and staff are very helpful and efficient. They attend to all my needs. All my questions and concerns are always patiently addressed by the doctor. Staff is professional and courteous. Not only is the allergist the best doctor I’ve ever had. But also the staff make my visit enjoyable to come every time I make an appointment. I have been coming to this allergy clinic for almost a decade. I highly recommend Dr. Mary Lee Wong’s team because I trust this clinic to give me outstanding and competent care and service.

I find Dr Mary lee wong to be perfect. She is kind and helpful and has been my allergist for about 10 years. She is an awesome doctor and I want to see no one else. I saw someone else at Mount Sinai because she is leaving but I did not like the new allergist. Dr Lee wong cares about me and works with me. I will hunt her down to follow Dr lee wong to wherever she is going to because she is the best allergist and an outstanding person and doctor.

Visited the ENT group here after my 3 year old daughter was run over by a bike and they were excellent. Great staff. Super informative medical doctors and residents. I asked a lot of questions and they patiently answered all of them. They were very thorough in taking care of my kid. Highly recommend the ENT group here.

Caring and dedicated physician. Dr Mary has been my doctor for over 20 years and she always returns my calls and will see me when I am sick squeezing me in during her lunch hour or staying late so she is truly very dedicated unlike other doctors. Dr Mary Lee Wong is loved by me and all her patients

FYI this location charges $400 facility fees for visits to doctors at this location, which is billed separately from the bill from your doctor. (This may or may not be covered by your insurance.) The doctors are great though.

Tuesday September 05,2023 I was a patient of the urgent care located on 14st in New York. While being seen by the female nurse, she offered me a rapid HIV test. In her statement while offering me the test she stated that she didn’t want to tell me the information and she only telling or offering me the test because her job requires her to. After these statements she showed a sign in the office that stated mount Siani offers rapid test. I informed her that I wasn’t opposed to taking the test and I would like to. Her response was that she didn’t want to do that and she didn’t do the test in which she offered. After a couple days I thought of this interaction between the nurse and myself as the patient. The nurse made me very uncomfortable and if she did this to me, how many other patients have experienced this same thing.

How disappointing. The doctors and nurses are great and friendly, but it takes so long to receive my prescription. When i wanted my prescription refill, they said they will send it to my pharmacy in 24 hours but they couldn’t because my doctor was not working there anymore. But they didn’t tell me that they can’t send it because the doctor is not here, so i called them again because i didn’t received it. But they just replied that they will send it within 24 hours. So i waited about 2 months for that refill. And mind you, i have asthma and was without my inhaler for 2 months. After my appointment with the new doctor, they sent out the prescription but my pharmacy rejected because they said she was still a student and not a doctor. So then the hospital said they will send the prescription from her supervisor. But they ended up sending it to a random pharmacy and not mine, even though i already told them my pharmacy address. They keep going back and forth and it’s been like another 2 weeks. I have asthma and i have not been in my medication for almost 3 months because of this. Honestly so sick of it.

They are so professional, I think this hospital is the best in New York, recommended. They give spectacular treatment and even more so with the LGBT community.
