Early evening we were looking for a place to grab a drink and a bite. We saw this pub and not sure it’s open. We’re glad that we went in. Their fish and chips was so good and delicious. The service was excellent and had a great experience.

My favorite pub in NYC! Great food, drinks, and service! If you’re dining in, you can’t go wrong with the fish and chips, fish tacos or curry fries - I love them all! The bartenders are super friendly and nice, and will remember you after a few visits (yes, guilty of being a regular)! I love that it has a great neighborhood bar vibe while also welcoming anyone inside! Also the Blasket is known to be one of the best places to grab a Guinness in the city 🍻 The bar is two levels, downstairs is very social and upstairs is great for date night, a more chill evening, or private events! Last reason why I love this place is the live music - Friday’s and Saturday’s come alive when the music is playing! See y’all here, next time!

Great irish pub. Grear pour of guiness and a real irish feel to the bar. We also ordered the curry fries which were delicious.

Comfortable place in a refined Irish bar style. They keep it antique but also updated for 21st century taste. Good beer list and interesting menu with quality bartenders. Not cheap but good happy hour specials.

Had dinner and drinks here after noticing the place walking by. The bartender and other staff were super nice and friendly, and the food was great. I had the potato leek soup and my friend had fish and chips. We shared the sausage shared plate which was phenomenal. There is a big risk vs reward equation in place when you pick a spot without any intel on it and the reward in this case is huge. Will go back as often as possible.

Went there twice while visiting NYC from California. Great food for a smallish bar and the owner, Liam, was super nice to me and my sons. Highly recommend.

I always have an amazing time at the Blanket. My coworkers and I will head there after work to de-stress and relax with the help of a great selection of food and alcohol. Great atmosphere, perfect for any time!

Nice joint . Easy going staff . Local spot . Age Diverse . Great live music on Saturday night - classic 70s 80s 90s . Not sure if that’s every Saturday . Might want to call if it’s important to you . And by live music I mean one guy but he’s been around for years and the crowd loves him . Takes requests and friendly . As others have said great Guinness pour . You can hang out /eat upstairs too . A couple tables outside as well .

This is just an awesome neighborhood Irish pub. Always a friendly crew behind the bar, they have a good selection of beers on tap and do an excellent fish & chips.

Very cool bar on the Eastside. It has also an upstairs. Ample space throughout and wonderfully kind bar staff. I would assume it gets busy. You can also have private events upstairs. Looks like a convenient and lovely place to meet or have a gathering. Very clean and unique pictures.

Classy new Irish pub. Warm and friendly staff. Top-notch pint of Guinness, excellent line up of old and new world beers. That... And they have 3 types of Taytos!

Great bar, fantastic food, friendly service. They have beers on tap you’d find in Ireland that aren’t in most Irish pubs in the city.

Great Irish pub with friendly staff. Plus they really know how to pour a pint of Guinness. Still not like having a pint in Dublin, but as good as it gets in New York. The burger was very fresh and decent as were the fries. Prices were on point. The best part was the atmosphere and the live music. Will definitely be back often.

Great little place to grab a bite and drink. The portobello burger was the best I've ever had and the wings were very good. Beer selection was great and they had downeast cider on draft as well. Bartender was quick and professional. The bar had hooks to put our bags after a long day of shopping.

What a hidden gem! I’ve lived nearby for years and today was my first time! Service food and drinks 10/10. Amazing space for private parties too

A cozier and more hipster version of your local Irish pub which I appreciated and the bartenders are great. Liam concocted a delicious cocktail based on another cocktail I enjoyed. Would definitely go back.

Best food you can find in an NYC bar for a reasonable price. Feels authentically Irish. Highly recommend.

The fish and chips are incredible—would 100% rearrange my return trip to NYC to come back and have it again. The shepherd’s pie is also very, very, very delicious. And the Guinness was great.

This is a great pub for a relax Sunday. We went for the fish and chips and it was good, crispy and abundant. The service was super kind and fast. The bartender can make cocktails if you ask him and they are good. Also, it was a clean place. We will definitely come back and recommend 👌
