Amazing drinks, the server was so patient and charismatic. The drinks are not placed on the Menu, I had to ask the server where I can take a look at the drink menu, he stated it's an open bar and we could ask for any drinks and he would make sure we get them. Very fast service, and the food was delicious.

If you go to Pio Pio you have to go to the main restaurant on Northern Blvd and 84th St. You’ll feel safe eating indoors because the space is open and airy. They’ve made sure the tables are at a safe distance apart. My two favorite dinners are the roast chicken dinner with saffron rice. It’s the best roast chicken dinner in New York City! The side of herb cream sauce is delicious. My second favorite is the shrimp in cream sauce with a side of avocado salad. Their white wine sangria is a nice compliment. Yum!!!

We are waiting there at least 30 mins until we have to ask if our food ready , then they bring all once together . Later on the waiter force us to leave the high rate tips . The food is average nothing special . In the neighborhood has so many to offer no need back again.

I’m new in the area and was told that Pio Pio was a bit pricey, however the food was great. So I tried the steak with French fries, rice and beans and an avocado salad 🥗 the total was approx $54.00 🤦🏻‍♀️ the beans were an extra charge and the salad was $11.00, I honestly didn’t think the price was bad because my expectations were high. Needless to say I was so disappointed I wanted to throw the food away, however, I paid way to much and was way to hungry lol. For one, they put the rice, French fries and steak in the same plate. The portion of steak was unbelievably small and the French fries were soaked in gravy so they were super soggy. For the price I was expecting everything packed separately. I will never eat here again 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thanks but no thanks! The steak and rice didn’t taste bad, but it couldn’t enjoy it due to the messy presentation. Count your days Pio Pio 😡 If you want: 1. Very Small Portions 2. Over priced food 3. Messy/Soggy food Eat here ☺️

I had my sisters baby shower on Saturday and I was so happy with the service. First off I was able to decorate they set up a separate table where I was able to put the cake and presents and decorate with my own theme. We were not rush and the service was amazing and the pre fix menu was great. My family had such a great experience and my sister was so happy with everything. If you ever want to plan an event I recommend pío pío!!

Pio Pio never disappoints... always the best service, warm welcome, amazingly delicious meals, great flavors, choices for everyone, customize your meal the way you love it. And enough portions to bring some home. Though pricing is higher everywhere you go these days, you still get a ton of value with the portions here. They make everything so well, especially that salsa verde, the maduros, and the surgical way they slice those avocados 🥑 😋 Super clean, great vibe, clean bathrooms downstairs, wonderful Latin music vibes piped throughout. 🕺🏾💃🏼 #LocalGem #theresthatfoodie #chickenspot

It's my favorite place from now on. First time visited this location today and feeling that they have the best kitchen on earth. Service was exceptional as well, and my biggest thanks go to those who warmed up milk for my coffee without even my asking. 🍨 are incredible! Lomo saltado is number 1 for me personally, but I highly recommend trying everything on the menu. Keep up the great work, guys. We appreciate you!

Have not been to this place since the pandemic started. It was great to be back and the food was as good as ever. They are very clean and I felt safe. The staff was very attentive as always. Glad nothing changed. Met up with an old friend here and spent 2 hours there for a late lunch. Very comfortable as always! Can't wait to go back!

Went there for my birthday and had such a great experience. I have been there many times before but our server 'Quique' really made a huge difference by making the experience special. He was so helpful and pleasant and really provided the best service! evenif the portions had gone down a little, I will definitely come back!!!

Food was so good but service was horrible!!!!! Our server Jorge had such a nasty attitude. We asked to be moved because their chairs are so incredibly uncomfortable and my husband has back problems so that wasn’t going to work for us. They first said no they can’t move us to the booth because those were big tables but the restaurant was 60% empty. I told them we would move if they really needed the table, of course turns out they never did. They had many large tables still available at the end of our meal. But if someone is coming to a nice restaurant they should be accommodated especially if they have a health concern that they share with you! He didn’t come to check up on us one single time! We had to flag him down to tell him that my rice was so dry and to the point of being crunchy. I can confirm this was wrong because my husband and I got the same dish and his rice was fresh and mine was old and dry as hell. This can be seen in the photo attached, our rice are literally two completely different colors. We asked him for new rice for my dish which he rolled his eyes to. He brought plain white rice out 10 minutes later when I was basically done with my food. We had a horrible service experience. We have been to the Hell’s Kitchen location and the service there is much much better! We never be back to this location. Not sure if we were being treated badly because we don’t look like the average consumer at this restaurant or if our server just really dislikes his job. Two starts off for service. Other than the rice being dry, the food was really good, we will just not come to this location where for the same price as the Manhattan location you get horrible service.

Food is pretty great. The lomo salteado is one of the best I have had. The service was a little slow for me, maybe because I went there on a busy Saturday evening. The other food we ordered such as the salchipapas and something that was like seafood paella tasted ok. Will come back for the lomo.

I came here to celebrate my bestfriends 30th bday on a Friday night & it went great! Their hostess was very understanding with our time changes and we had a great time. The restaurant wasn’t packed that night and their customer service was great! The food tasted soo good and their sangria was a hit! Even their live mariachi and music was fun to jam out to. Even though this location doesn’t serve steak with basil pasta (my fav meal) & they could have put more French fries inside their lomo dish I would definitely come here again.

We had a party over there. They have a moderate space for 75-100 people. The food was delicious and the drinks were crisp. The servers were professional. Great place to throw a party for any occasion or just have some good time with your loved ones and friends.

This place was great. We went there for a friends gathering. The food there was awesome especially their chicken. The price of the combo was reasonable compared to others. It was a great experience. Definitely going back if there's a chance.

I don't have any pics as I was a tag along with my sister from some business earlier in the day that ran into her friends' monthly meet-up. However, the food was delicious. Very clean, atmosphere was great. Can't remember the name of what we ordered, but it was from the right side of the menu, sharable seafood platter, and chicken. Everything was good to me. No complaints.

A great restaurant with a variety of delicious food the cocktails are delightful and the service is friendly. The only thing I didn’t like on my last visit was that the cup was having a horrible smell like they didn’t wash it well that disgusting smell like stinky egg . besides that everything was wonderful

Food was super delicious, probably the best chicken i think I've had. OH! And the Sangria was ON Point!! water was being refilled 247.. waiters paid great attention to our requests. They work fast and hard in there. Parking was ehhhh.... spent about 30mns looking for a spot and finally got lucky right in front. Definitely worth it.

Pio Pio is a classic spot in Northern Blvd for Peruvian chicken a la brasa. It is great for family, for friends get together and anyone looking to have one of their chicken combos with some sangria. I used to come frequently years ago and the food and service was better back then, this time food was rushed, all servers were busy, and the chicken was not hot, just warm. It was a busy Saturday night, parking is very hard to find.

This is the second time i have been to this Peruvian restaurant. Both times, the event was in a private section of the restaurant. The food was delicious. We ordered a 6 matador combo and 4 jaleas. This was enough for a party of 30, and we had left over. The service was great. We were not rushed out. Many guests ordered individual drinks but sangria pitcher.

I was there this afternoon with my family, the ceviche was smelling bad, chaufa to much ginger, salchipapas the potatoes tasted like reheated. too expensive for small portion.
