Pretty nice little green space to hang out. Kinda loud with the roads right next to the park. Grab a bite at Zabar’s a couple blocks away, and sit down for a nice picnic here. You’ll have a good time.

Surprisingly serene cycling and walking area along the Hudson River and Upper Westside of Manhattan ... The pathways are flat and in relatively good condition - there are restrooms & a few great Riverside cafes nearby ... Well worth a wander or picnic if you have an hour or two to spare 👌

Hidden gem in the city. I biked from Brooklyn to Harlem and took this route north from the 72nd st entrance, I believe. It was a while ago; forgive me. This was the most relaxing stretch of the route. Beautiful sunsets behind Weehawken, Cliffside, West New York etc. Great place to picnic with a date.

Bucolic, peaceful. Very good views of the Hudson River in New Jersey. Lots of children playing games.

A very underrated park next to the Hudson River. You can enjoy a relaxing stroll along the riverside and get some nice views of New Jersey. There is plenty of bird life to see and overall it’s a quiet sanctuary away from the usual hustle and bustle of Manhattan.

WHAT THEHEEBEE SAYS ABOUT HUDSON RIVER WATERFRONT GREENWAY I stayed at Newyork for a week in February - 2019. I would say that I was blessed to have my hotel at a walking distance from Hudson River Waterfront Greenway. It was my daily ritual to walk from Pier 40 to Battery Park and back. I used to tease myself that daily evening I walk so much for my daily date with the Lady Liberty. I used to walk and then reach Battery Park and spend some time watching all the wonders of the mother nature. Hudson River Waterfront Greenway is that amazing place where one can spend that precious 'me time' with one's own self and with the mother nature. The walkway is constructed very nicely with many options to sit, jog, play, cycle and grab something to eat. One can spend time here watching the river, boats, joggers, cyclists, small children having fun and the adorable pets who enjoy the time with their masters. The walkway is beautiful without any obstacles. Parks are enjoyable. The playgrounds are well maintained. The adjoining restaurants offer good food. The best is the amazing view it gives of New Jersey both during the day and at the night. Signing Off Hiral Amodia (TheHeeBee)

Mein neuer Lieblingspark in New York. Schön grün, kaum Touristen, tolle Wege, mega Radweg, super Aussicht auf den Sonnenuntergang und es gibt dort auch ein schönes Restaurant/Café.

100x better than Eastside Greenway NYC. Separate Bike and Pedestrian walkways. Separated by lush median. The dedicated lanes are amazing. West Side Piers are beautiful. Approaching downtown the skyscrapers take your breath away. Crosswalks are clearly marked, even still, unaware pedestrians will stumble across without looking with the potential for serious injury. It doesn't even feel like NYC. Too nice.

Nice greenery, number of runners, walkers, and bike riders and frequently the site for volunteers to clean up the park(s)

Fairly nice place for a walk along the Hudson River. Would be nice if the bikers were cognizant that people walk here too. Some areas along the way smell terrible. 3 stars at most.
