This bar is a National Treasure. I admire the owner for preserving this perfect dive bar for New York and the rest of us who get to visit whenever we get the chance. For those reviewers who pick at its flaws, you are missing the point. I can only say it’s eccentricities is what makes the bar so great. When you step in this bar, You have no doubt that you are among friends and like-minded individuals from all walks of life. It’s not for everyone and maybe that’s why I like it so much. I just wish my favorite bartender Kat was still there! And finally, I watched tens of thousands of costumed New Yorkers of all ages parade through the Village last night safely and happily. NYC is still the greatest city! Long may she run!

Great burger 🍔! Wings were eh ok. We ordered a few items pulled pork with onion rings, a bacon cheese burger with fries, and some buffalo wings. The prices were reasonable and the spot is a bit of a hole in wall. The Burger was the beat I have tasted in a very long while. The fries and onion rings were tasty and crunchy 😋 I will definitely be back and bring my daughter shes such a foodie and this place has burgers that will hit the spot!

Stopped by with friends. A cool, chill bar with a trace of history. A place for fun, drinking, not for talk. Surprisingly the baked chicken wings were delicious! And my friend recommended grilled cheese.

Had two very different experiences. First was a great female bartender who served us some delicious whiskey then a few hours later we came back to sit outside and get some more whiskey and a male bartender came out as soon as we sat down, yelled at us because we’d bought sushi from the Japanese restaurant next door, and made us leave! We definitely won’t be back.

Cool bar in Tribeca. It seemed to have a lot of regulars, so I would say it's a neighborhood bar. The crowd was diverse. Melissa, the bartender was very nice and welcoming. The prices are very good here. They also have a Shuffleboard table. I had the Jalapeño Poppers. The breading was too thick so I ended up eating the Jalapeño and some of the cheese with the sauce that comes on the side. Melissa was nice enough to not charge me for them, which wasn't my intention, when I mentioned how thick the breading was. The people at the bar were friendly. It's a comfortable atmosphere. If you happen to be in Tribeca, I recommend that you stop by. I might go back and try their 🍤 Shrimp Basket.

I wanted a spot to watch the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. New York Rangers playoff game while I was in NYC for business. This location was listed as being open late and convenient to my hotel. All I really needed was a cheap spot where I could watch the game and have a beer. It turns out that this location was ideal for that. I was able to secure a seat in a corner despite the interior being extremely full for a Monday night. There are a few TVs inside, so it was simple to select one with a good viewing angle. Given the high volume of patrons, the service was surprisingly speedy with only two bartenders. Can speak to the food but not the food.

One of the highlights of my New York experience. 6 years and counting and they still nail it. The food, service and environment are 5 stars. By the price??? Unbeatable.

I am reluctantly reviewing as I love this pub and don’t want to spoil it 😂 great atmosphere in this real soho haunt. Great tunes, shuffleboard, great beers including a very clean and well poured pint of Guinness.

Good ole fashion dive bar where the bartender knows your name and can also serve you a great dirty Martini.

Great little dive bar, run by a lovely last who was most accommodating. Huge food portions at decent prices, good beer, and shuffleboard table. She even shouted us a free beer!

Nancy's is a unique experience. The bartenders are awesome. This is a very, very small bar and it tends to get extremely crowded but if you are lucky enough to grab a seat, have a drink and order some food then you will definitely not be disappointed.... You know what they say.."It's not the destination, it's the trip"

Solid local bar. Very friendly. Nice alternative to much of the area. Draft selection limited - usual distributor stuff, but they properly poor Guinness and there’s Yuengling - notable. Excellent whiskey selection for a small bar. Really enjoy this place.

A total dive bar. Great culture and atmosphere among locals. Love the bartenders. Check out the booths upstairs too. They also decorate seasonally.

A wonderful spot to stop by and have a drink on a night walk and talk with my long time salsa dancing partner. Both bartenders were so pleasant and the music level was just right.

In the photo is the double Pork Chop Special with mushrooms, sausage and asparagus. They accidentally added the mashed potatoes.

Idk what these reviews are talking about this place is great. I’m 22 and my boyfriend is 24 we had a great time here amazing food, great service, cheap beer. Idk what kind of bars y’all have been too but that’s all I look for when I go to a bar. Definitely will be coming back here in the future!

Fabulous neighborhood bar that is affordable and a great time. Everyone was welcoming. Not only are the drinks inexpensive but a nice heavy pour too. The bartenders during the day and then again the 2nd time 'round at night were super friendly.

Want an intimate bar to hang out after a long day in New York, this is definitely the place to unwind. Small. cozy, very friendly staff, perfect for a drink. The music is reasonably set so you can have a conversation without yelling. Best part, the bartender doesn't cheat you out your alcohol 😉

Great little corner bar! Cold Beer and Friendly Service.

  • 4/5 Matthew W. 3 months ago on Google New
Incredibly affordable watering hole with a little treehouse style second floor (low ceilings). The place is narrow so you're gonna be elbowing your way past people playing games to order a drink, and getting it to your table isn't a small task , but if you get a good spot you'll be rewarded with a low bar tab and a nice hang. Just be warned that for whiskey fans , the name is slightly misleading as you can't even order a Manhattan! That's the quintessential whiskey cocktail. I hope they remedy this in the future, but for the time being, go see a movie at the Roxy down the street and debrief at Nancy Whiskey afterwards.

Perfect corner pub! Friendly folks, both staff and guests. Bring a friend and pull up a chair.

Last of the Mohicans!!! One of the last standing rustic bars with decent food in Manhattan. The upstairs dining is an experience you can embellish later on. 🤭🍻

If you want a real Manhattan/NYC bar experience with a nice side of food then this is a joint with soul! Enjoy the low prices and NYC high experience at Nancy Whiskeys! If you want room, space and nice bathrooms then go somewhere else. This bar is %100 New York City!

Great place for a drink before going out or the place to end the night. Be careful of the frozen Margaritas. They are stronger then they seem and one too many you will have a hangover. Also drink water and eat if you want to be walking tomorrow!

This is my first time writing a review. We came here after a disappointing night at the Papatzul down the street. This bar has affordable drinks and the bartenders are very welcoming. This pub is so cozy and homey. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town!!

Great little spot for a cocktail. Friendly bar staff and they have an old school shuffleboard table! Wandered in while visiting the other day. Would definitely stop back in on our next trip. Perfect dive bar!

I appreciated the space note smelling like puke. Clean spacious and friendly. Alcohol from various parts of the world too, I've been hunting Jack Daniel's Cinnamon fireball Whiskey, for the two weeks I've been here and it's the only stop from 20 that I had that satisfaction of engaging in that crave. If you're in the area check it out, and form your own opinion.

Good dive bar with decently priced drinks and outdoor seating. Their happy hour is pretty dope. Bring your friends, bring your coworkers. Have a blast. I believe they serve food, but we didn't have it. The bathroom was pretty gnarly and gross. Will definitely be back.

Best hole in the wall dive bar! Cheapest drinks in Tribeca, lively crowd, shuffle board, jukebox, the BEST bartenders, and cheap delicious fried barfood that hits that 3am spot

Been coming here for years. The food is yummy, the staff is amazing and the drinks are reasonable! We love the hot wings, they're the best in the city!

Soo much fun playing shuffle board here ! Bartenders were quick, and the have an awesome setup! It was the Lunar New Year so it wasn't really busy which was nice to spend time with friends and play the game. The cornmeal was very slippery that night so it took some focuse to hone our skills.

Cute little Irish pub! Stopped in to warm up with an Irish coffee. Friendly staff and fun, environment!

The place itself is decent. The appetizers we ordered were delicious as well. The only real complaint I have is about the bartender. I ordered a drink and waited patiently as she attended other customers. After a few minutes, she asks me again what I would like. She forgot what my drink was and when she finally got around to attending me, she took another 5 minutes to charge me and get my card back to me. She seems very distracted. My cousin wanted to close his tab after we finished and that took another 5 minutes 🙄

Great prices. Had a good time chatting with one of the bartenders. She made a drink for me that is not well known and it was fantastic.

Fun place, reasonable priced drinks (low for NYC), met lots of interesting people (your experience may vary) - - perfect old school bar. Very glad we found this place - will return.

This is a simple pub, with simple liquor and simple finger food. We had onion rings and fries which were great. I don't have much to say except that I had fun and I'd go back if I was in the area.
