Tonight,
I
had
an
unfortunate
dining
experience
where
I
ordered
only
a
wine
and
a
cocktail
without
food,
as
a
couple.
I
had
tried
the
food
on
previous
visits.
Sadly,
the
wine
did
not
meet
my
expectations
and
the
portion
served
was
disappointingly
small,
to
the
extent
where
I
only
managed
two
sips.
I
asked
for
a
replacement,
which
was
a
beer,
and
to
my
surprise,
it
was
served
in
the
same
glass
as
the
wine.
I
find
it
unusual
and
inappropriate
for
a
beer
to
be
served
in
a
wine
glass.
My
aggravation
continued
when
I
was
charged
for
what
the
establishment
deemed
as
'half
of
my
drink,’
which
was
actually
just
the
two
sips
of
wine
I
had.
Although
they
removed
it
from
my
bill
after
I
complained,
the
misunderstanding
was
rather
upsetting.
The
server's
assistant
asserted
that
I
had
consumed
'half
of
my
drink',
which
was
plainly
inaccurate.
What
tipped
me
over
the
edge
was
the
tipping
incident.
Due
to
the
less
than
satisfactory
service,
I
refrained
from
leaving
a
tip.
To
my
astonishment,
the
server's
assistant
went
out
of
his
way
to
follow
me
a
whole
building
away
from
the
restaurant's
property,
confronting
me
to
inquire
about
my
decision
to
not
leave
a
tip.
I
provided
my
reasons,
which
caused
him
to
abruptly
leave.
This
experience
was
altogether
exasperating.
