Ardesia Wine Bar is exactly the kind of wine bar I was hoping for tonight when meeting up with a good friend. The wine list is extensive but not exhaustive. The bartenders know more than the average set of attributes about each wine bottle, and are always happy to provide recommendations based on what you're feeling like experiencing. The ambience is intimate and warm, with a great food menu to match your wine selection.

Great, easy spot for after-work drinks. They have a good separation of bar area from a more casual dining spot, and there’s great outdoor seating that is well shaded if it’s far too hot. Wine selection is solid. The food bites are also stellar.

Nice wine bar with varied by the glass options and knowledgeable friendly staff. Nice cocktail options as well. Very comfortable bar seating. Food was tasty but nothing outstanding. I would definitely come back again, its a great solid option if you want some wine or cocktails with some light food. Shrimp was tasty. Lamb skewers were not overly flavorful. Pretzel was a little lacking. Meat/cheese board was a little pricey for the amount but it was all very good.

Tonight, I had an unfortunate dining experience where I ordered only a wine and a cocktail without food, as a couple. I had tried the food on previous visits. Sadly, the wine did not meet my expectations and the portion served was disappointingly small, to the extent where I only managed two sips. I asked for a replacement, which was a beer, and to my surprise, it was served in the same glass as the wine. I find it unusual and inappropriate for a beer to be served in a wine glass. My aggravation continued when I was charged for what the establishment deemed as 'half of my drink,’ which was actually just the two sips of wine I had. Although they removed it from my bill after I complained, the misunderstanding was rather upsetting. The server's assistant asserted that I had consumed 'half of my drink', which was plainly inaccurate. What tipped me over the edge was the tipping incident. Due to the less than satisfactory service, I refrained from leaving a tip. To my astonishment, the server's assistant went out of his way to follow me a whole building away from the restaurant's property, confronting me to inquire about my decision to not leave a tip. I provided my reasons, which caused him to abruptly leave. This experience was altogether exasperating.

Such a cozy, cute place! Met a friend here for a light dinner and drinks on a Friday night. Definitely gets busy so a reservation is recommended. Really nice atmosphere to catch up with a friend or to go on a date due to the dim lighting, candles, etc. It’s beautiful. I’m not a fan of stool seating without backs, and it was a little warm inside. There is also seating at the bar and some couch seating. Other than that, no complaints. The staff was really nice and helped us choose wine and cheese pairings. The heirloom beet salad, shrimp skewer, and cauliflower dishes were delicious and flavorful, as were the wine, cheese, and bread.

My wife took me here for my birthday last month and I really enjoyed it! We were out of town, but the way to show us a great time, shout out to Gabriel for orchestrating everything with my wife! If we go back to New York, I’m definitely going back here!

Just had drinks at 5pm on a Saturday. The shifts were changing so the service was a little haphazard, but friendly. The cocktails are well made but designed for dessert drinker. The wine was well curated and about $16 per glass. The atmosphere has a distinctly hotel bar feel but its attractive and modern.

If you’re around the area this Fall, you must try their dirty pumpkin spice latte. It is perfect. Their wine selection is pretty good as well. I tried their chilled Bojo do Luar, from Portugal. It had a nice fruity and earthy note.

I absolutely love Ardesia. The vibe is so cozy, and the wine selection is so vast. The waitstaff really know their stuff when it comes to the wine, and they have decent food as well. I recently did their wine + cheese board offering as each wine is complemented by an accompanying cheese with a garnish. I also had a post-dinner drinks celebration for my birthday here, and they were able to accommodate all 7 of us. I cannot recommend Ardesia enough.

My wife and I were there last evening. An excellent wine bar at reasonable prices. Varied and tasty appetizers. The staff, and in particular our server, were very attentive and friendly. The place was full and lively, but not too noisy. I was not charged for the draft beer as in their opinion there was a bit of a delay due to a technical issue, and that impressed me.

The wine selection had options that were new to me and staff who gave great explanations and recommendations. We had an excellent cheese/meat board, also thanks to suggestions from our waiter. We were seated in the lounge/side room (not the bar room) which had low velvet benches or stools, so be aware if you have limited mobility/trouble getting up from low chairs.

Fantastic pre-theatre early dinner with friends. Both the choice of food (beet salad and slate of charcuterie/cheese) were simply formidable but the wine pairing suggested by the team was to die for! In top of that, prices and ambiance are great!! If you’re never been, YOU MUST COME TO THIS AMAZING WINR BAR!!

Ardesia had plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, both with a really good decor and vibe. The wine was good, and the charcuterie board we ordered was tasty. The staff were really prompt and attentive the whole time. If you want a somewhat upscale wine bar, Ardesia is a good spot.

Nice place! Good place to go if you're looking to hang out with friends over wine and a light meal. Not a restaurant style structure, so you're not rushed. Good atmosphere and our waitress was great.

10’s across the board for Ardesia. Sexy and unpretentious, industry friendly, great wine selection, and every bite of food was better than the last. My friend and I have no business in deep Hell’s Kitchen but we will be returning!

Rhys was amazing. His wine knowledge is outstanding and I love the fact that he checked on us every 7-10 minutes. I'll definitely be back. Shoutout to the staff at Ardesia!!!!

Great cozy spot for small plates and wine. All the food we ordered arrived quickly and was delicious. Service was friendly and the vibe was low-key and relaxing.

Had a lovely pre-show visit here a few weeks ago. Great space both indoors and out, lovely small plates to nosh on and beautiful wine selection. Friendly staff and patrons (no attitude) top it all off! Great find in HK!

Delicious food, wine, and cocktails, and the staff is THE BEST! Shoutout to Frenchie for the warm welcome and kind hospitality throughout the night, Ryhs for the perfect wine recs, and Chef Amorette for the incredible meal and service. Especially loved the portabello fries and the hanger steak. Can’t wait to return!

Delicious cod fish fritters and sublime cocktail. Definitely worth a second visit ☺️

A decent watering hole but pricey considering it's badly decorated and located practically on 11th Avenue. Good outdoor space, but obviously only when weather permits. Fair but not amazing happy hour, suggest going then.

We came up from Philly on 12/30 for a brief dining and drinks visit and Ardesia wasn’t planned but seemed to be fate! Our WONDERFUL waitress, Francesca, came in the clutch! She expertly detected our Philly accents (hahhh) and In all honesty we landed at Ardesia because we were denied around the corner at Sessamo. We had to push back our reservation around the corner at 10pm and by that time their kitchen was closing. An awesome middle aged local came to our aide walking by us at Seasamo and said, “You guys should walk around the corner to Ardesia. They have great wine, small plates and cocktails and their kitchen closes around 11. We were greeted immediately and the music, ambience and food/drink were exactly what we were looking for. Our kind hostess sat us at one of the two remaining two tops and our super sweet, professional and efficient waitress, Francesca, took excellent care of us. She told the kitchen we were famished and they worked greatly in accommodating us with several small plates and drinks. Ardesia owners and team - keep doing what you’re doing and I strongly believe you’ll strive for many years to come in this location. It was such a fun and pleasant experience all around. Thank you! Be back!

Amazing wine bar. Every wine we had was delicious. The food was also fantastic. Simple but tasty. Pretzels and flank steak were our favs but I have nothing bad to say. Service was also 5 stars. Very impressed.

Has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. Seats are nicely distanced for outdoor dining and service is great. Favorite part is the food is DELICIOUS!

One of my favorite places in Hell's Kitchen. A charming wine bar with wonderful well priced selections and delicious food. The cheese and charcuterie selections are always excellent

Fantastic vibe, knowledgeable staff, and a great set of glass options. Make sure you check out the bottle list. Oh, and order the small batch chocolate chip cookies before you depart.

I have to say that I was so pleasantly surprised at how great the service was at this very popular wine bar. We went in on a Friday night before seeing a play across the street. The staff could not have been nicer, very helpful with our selections and very professional. The manager even remembered us after we stopped back in after the play. The wine selections are nicely curated and the food is delicious. Will definitely stop back again.
