Amazing mom n pop experience. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Kiara was the most amazing and patient waitress. We were a big party and she had a constant smile on her face. Every staff member did. We will definitely be returning!

My fiancé and I had a great meal at Mamas Cafe Baci. We were camping in the area and wanted to go out to eat, something that can be very difficult when you treat your pup like a family member who travels everywhere with you! We saw that they had a pooch cafe (same menu and service as the rest of the restaurant, just outside in a dog friendly environment.) This was awesome and so unique. Our dog enjoyed her pup friendly meatballs and our food was delicious as well. The servers were kind, attentive and very friendly. When we are back in the area we will visit again!

Tonight was our first time to Mama’s cafe. We were treated like family from the moment we walked in. The owner took the time to explain the menu to us and gave us samples to try. I have celiac and this is the largest gluten free menu I have seen. The food was great, service amazing and atmosphere was warm and friendly. I can’t wait to go back again!!

We recently visited Mama’s Cafe Baci and have mixed thoughts of this restaurant. The location is nice and we immediately really enjoyed the outside seating. The service and staff are very good and I liked how they display the features on an iPad style screen and that they offer gluten free food. The rigatoni bolognese looked very good so we ordered that as well as the spaghetti with meatballs. I like how they offer a complimentary sample pasta and we also even received a gluten free sample too. All positive so far. The meatballs is where I can’t say I was too pleased with. The meatball texture was very soft a bit mushy. The sauce was ok and the spaghetti was good. As for the rigatoni bolognese that was ok too. It tasted and had more of an appearance of a baked ziti because it had lots of pasta and cheese with very little meat. When we received the bill the rigatoni bolognese was listed as $28 but the menu said $22. After paying I questioned why was it so much and found out i was incorrectly priced and should have been $24 ($2 more dollars than the menu price because it has bacon). Instead of a $4 refund I requested two slices to make things less complicated. Overall, I wanted this to be a good review, however, I was not fond of the soft meatballs, the food didn’t taste as good as it looked and the incorrect price.

My clients picked this spot to get lunch and I got excited when I seen the many vegan options. I called in my order with a very nice man. I ordered pizza for my clients and vegan spaghetti and meatballs for myself. When I arrived I parked in their private parking lot. I walked to the counter and told the nice man my name and everything was ready. I paid and left. When I was able to eat I dug in and the first thing I was disappointed about was there was only 4 small vegan meatballs. I tasted the meal and it was just ok. I had to add salt and some hot pepper to taste a little more to my liking. The service was good but I guess I need to pick something else next time.

The service was amazing and the food was just delicious! Although expensive, the entrees were very filling and it was difficult to even finish a whole plate! Love the fact that it’s very vegetarian and vegan friendly with options ranging from the classics to modern twists! The only slight downside was that all the food we ordered was VERY oily or rich but honestly, there was very little to be desired. We will definitely be back

I have been a Mama’s customer since I was little and still going! I do have to say that Sheri and Tom have always been nothing short than amazing, as well as their entire staff. Most times I call and they know who I am, what my favorites are and the big one is they know my allergy. I have a severe allergy to mushrooms and I feel safest eating here with how careful they are. Also, if anyone stops for dessert, you must try the tiramisu! :)

Italian restaurant with bar, walking in the door I felt a little crowded. Bar was on the left and bathroom was on the right. We were seated on the right side of the restaurant, small room that leads to a outdoor dining area. Not sure what the rest of the place looks like. We had pear purse for apps ( very delicious) little purse like pasta stuffed with pear and cheese. We shared a wedge salad that could have had more dressing, lot of bacon instead. We also shared a gluten free chicken parm plate. The wife liked the sauce but I thought it was lacking a little flavor. Chicken was cooked perfectly, we could cut it with a fork with ease. However being gluten free you could tell with the bread crums. I would love to try a different dish that wasn't gluten free because the appetizers were just that good. We tried the gluten free for out daughter who wants to have a party there and she wasn't available to be with us.

Amazing food! Great drinks! Awesome guitar player! The staff was friendly and welcoming! We will definitely we going back again very soon!

Had my baby shower here, and it was an all around amazing venue. The food was fantastic, booking the room for the event was very straightforward, and the pricing was quite reasonable for the level of service, skill, and lovely food we received. They even packed up all the leftovers for us.

Don’t walk but run to Mama’s! Last year, my boyfriend and I came here for our first date due to their extensive vegan options. We loved everything about Mama’s Cafe Baci so much that we decided to come back here for our anniversary celebration. Tom is one of the kindest persons I have ever met. The service and hospitality from the ENTIRE staff is out of this world. It honestly completes the whole experience and makes the food taste that much better. This place truly makes you feel like family. You guys rock !

This was a long pending restaurant to visit, and finally, we made it. They are famous to give you any alternate of an non veg product in veg format. They have all plant based alternatives. Plant chicken or plant meat, etc. If you want a cozy atmosphere, this is the best place. Price is comparable to a lot of restaurants around the town. Servers are really good and caring g, which will elevate your experience in having the food. You should visit this place. The best part is, in a long time, i had not seen any restaurant where rhey explain whT are available for dinner. We ordered veg and cheese pizza, and they were over filling. Really big ones, but the order size is called small. Later, we thought we should have taken personal pizza.

Wow!! What an incredible experience. Tom, Sheri and team have done an incredible job expanding the restaurant and providing such awesome service to patrons. We had a large group and had to wait a while for our table, which allowed us to talk with Tom, try some wines and interact with the staff. Every dish we had was excellent. They have innovative combined dishes allowing you to try two meals on one plate. If we still lived in Hackettstown we’d be here weekly. Congrats Tom on creating an absolutely fantastic establishment all around.

This restaurant is wonderful, particularly the staff! They offer a good selection of food at decent prices and it was all delicious, especially the shrimp crostini! The best part, however, was the staff. The manager gave us a complete tour of the restaurant because it was our first time there. He checked on us throughout the meal and even gave us free food to try. Several people on the waitstaff helped during the meal and they were all very friendly and helpful as well. We will definitely be going back!

Always a very pleasant experience at Mama’s, whether it’s dine in or catered out. I recently used Mama’s to cater a party at my home (one of many). All the guests raved about the food. The gluten free guests were easily accommodated. The young men who set up the buffet were professional and very polite. Sheri, who runs the catering is always so helpful. Any time you are at Mama’s, you can expect friendly service and great food.

What an incredible experience! We drove 2 hours to try this place after reading great reviews about their gluten free options. From apps, to pastas, to entrees, and oh my - the desserts - there is an entire gluten free menu! So many options, it’ll take at least 5 visits to try a little of everything. The staff is super knowledgeable and the fear of cross-contamination was non-existent for my family. We were happily surprised with a visit from the Chef. He is so passionate about the quality of his food and the importance of his customers having a place to eat, both deliciously and safely. For what it’s worth, my husband is not GF so he ordered off their regular menu and loved everything! Always a treat to find a place that can accommodate our whole family. Thank you, Tomaso and Sheri. We already can’t wait to be back!

Dad came into town and wanted a good Italian meal. Food was excellent. I had the chicken toscana $29 and dad had linguine white clam sauce $31.. pricey to say the least but good portions and great taste. Dad ate over half his plate and I polished mine off ... tables inside seemed kind of congested we sat at table for 2 and against the wall and felt like the table of 4 next to us were on top of us. I would've gave 5 stars but prices are little high for type of meals.i will go back with wife for date night and try another dish.

Mama’s has been one of our favorite restaurants for several years and for my Mom’s birthday we ordered a catering package from Mama’s to be delivered. My mother has a severe garlic allergy which can be tricky when ordering Italian food, however with Mama’s there is never a problem. I requested all the food be garlic free so that she could enjoy anything served at her party, and Sheri who took the order ensured that it was. Accommodating allergies and food restrictions comes so naturally at Mama’s that we never have to worry about the food being safe to eat. The food was delivered right on time, in the pouring rain no less and the young man who delivered it was incredibly pleasant and made sure we knew how to set it up, where the extra sauces were and so on. The food was all very delicious, even the pickiest of eaters at the party agreed. We had ordered the package for 10-15 people and with 15 guests we had plenty of leftovers. I have never had a bad meal at Mama’s and I am so glad we chose them to cater this event. They provided chafing dishes, sternos, serving utensils, plates, utensils, napkins, bread, salad dressing extra sauce but most importantly the peace of mind that everything was safe for my mother to eat. We enjoyed some of the leftovers tonight!

The food was great. The menu selection was also great. And someone came over and sat with us for a few minutes , I think Tom. He went over the menu. I ordered a duet. It's a combo of 2 things. The eggplant dish with artichokes and sun dried tomatoes was great as was the pasta. All the wait staff were really nice. Would go back for sure. Oh... the drinks were also really good.

Absolutely amazing vegan options. My husband and I were in heaven. Had no idea this gem was near us. THANK YOU for catering to people with special diets ❤️❤️ We had options for appetizers, entrees AND dessert! So rare for us vegans. We will be back for more! 🥰

Pretty regular customer and the food and service is normally great. However, got quick take out last night. 5 slices. 3 Sicilian and 2 regular. Pizza was in box taped shut upon pickup, and didn't think to open to check. Had I done that before driving 20min home I would've said something. Pics explain it all. The Sicilian slices were thin and smaller than acceptable from such a normally great establishment. I'll chalk it up to being a Wednesday evening anomaly, but several eyes had to see this before it went out door.

I booked the Coach Room for my 60th Birthday on October 21st. I corresponded with Sheri, from Mama's, for a number of weeks before the event and she was amazing and listening to and dealing with all my concerns, especially in regards to my guests' dietary needs as well as my own. She went above and beyond to make my party perfect. The staff at the Coach Room were so attentive and the service fantastic. The food was fabulous and the space beautifully decorated.

Along with my wife, we stopped here for dinner on our way home to Pennsylvania. Right off the bat, we go in and they say 40 minute wait, which is expected on a Saturday night. A family with extra seats at their table off us their seats so speed up our dinner. That just shows the type of clientele they have here. It really spoke volumes. The host and manager/owner were very involved with the entire dinner experience, and very pleasant to have around. They work in teams so different servers bring you different items, but all work very well together. My wife has multiple dietary restrictions, and for a place to have a menu for just about every restriction known, they are so far ahead of the game in the restaurant industry. To have that type of freedom with a menu and not worry about what is an option to eat, they make just about everything an option to suit your needs. The food was absolutely amazing, so much that we ordered food as take out for the next nights dinner. If you can’t decide on what to eat because of all the amazing options, they offer “duets,” which is a smaller portion of 2 different entrees. It was a very nice touch for a menu. Noticing people waiting for their tables, they make sure they are comfortable and interact with the guests to help that wait not feel so dry and dull. I definitely see this being a place we stop at for dinner each time we are in the area.

Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful staff, amazing gluten free menu!! The flavors were incredible and portion sizes were very generous!

mamas catered for my sweet 16th birthday, everything was perfect about it. no one could stop talking about how delicious the food was at my party, my brother came home from collage just to have the left over white champagne chicken. process was smooth like butter, just talk to sheri!! mamas is always the place to go when you don’t know what you want to eat but you want something comforting and yummy. portions are always big as well. all staff always has a smile on there face and happy to help. they are all so personable. speaking of personable, talk to the owner, he’s the best!!! confused on what to get? good thing they give you samples for todays special!!

I went there with my staff for our Christmas dinner, the drinks were right on point, the food presentation was excellent and delicious. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is amazing with live music. The tiramisou remind me of Milan.
