The staff here is fantastic! Everyone is very nice and welcoming. The rooms are also very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are on the older side but very clean and very well maintained! We will be back! We would’ve given it 4 stars because we paid extra for a specific room and it wasn’t exactly as described. We will sort this out at a later time but a place where we’d definitely stay again. 5 stars as Lenny (doorman) is always smiling and welcoming folks!

This hotel was just okay. I paid nearly $600 a day but I feel that it's mostly for the location which is relatively close to time square. For some reason the rooms have a weird smell that will not air out. I'm a really hot person and there's barely any circulation in the room with the air conditioning on. Personally I wouldn't stay here again.

The entire Omni Berkshire experience this past weekend was nothing short of magical. It actually started just after I made the reservation. Jennifer, Loyalty Ambassador, provided clear communication and a truly memorable weekend for my wife and me. Kevin, in concierge, was amazing. He was able to get us reservations to a comedy club I had no luck getting. Lenny the doorman and his counterparts were extremely nice and provided a great service. Oh, the room, the room was beautiful. We honestly can't say a single negative thing about our Omni stay. We really appreciate everything you did for our stay. The Omni Berkshire provided customer service that SHINE: Sociability-were friendly and open, compassionate and watched out for non-verbal communication. Honest-telling the truth, saying “I don’t know-let me find out,” and building trust for long-term relationships. Individual-shared your personal story, treated people with respect, and used uncommon common sense. Needs-based-addressed the immediate need and avoided “interpretorture.” Excellence-exceeded visitor’s expectations, little touches that make a difference, and making customers say “wow.”

We’ve been to NYC plenty of times but stayed here because of another great stay at Omni in Boston. The location is perfect…close to Central Park, Grand Central, 5th, Rockefeller Center, and Bryant Park. The hotel staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel special and welcome. Got a suite upgrade for a minimal up-charge and it was spectacular-beautiful suite! I don’t think I’d even consider another hotel in the future. Loved it!

5 stars all around. I chose to stay here because even the very few bad reviews talked about the clean rooms and nice staff, and the Omni definitely delivered on that. Extremely clean room with probably the nicest staff I've ever had in a hotel. We got room service and the food was excellent as well. When we were leaving, their infamous door man Lenny ran a quarter block full speed to hail a cab down for us.

Such a nice place. The hotel employees are lovely: thank you so much to Alexia (the sweetest), Vitali, the bellhop from Boston whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, and Kevin the Concierge--they made our stay very calm and relaxing. You have truly not lived life until you've worn an Omni bathrobe. The lobby is beautiful! Our room was clean and impressively quiet for being in the middle of Rockefeller Center--you couldn't ask for a better place to repose. I loved the marble bathroom! I'm so happy we got to stay here.

We expected more from this stay. The room was a good size and clean but the amenities were sparse. There was no refrigerator, no coffee maker, no extra blankets. Little plastic containers of travel size toiletries. Only towels for two people (three registered), only one robe. Streaming services required a complicated process with WIfi, and installation of an app. We gave up. Room service was a single page of items from the bar. Nothing simple or late night snack able. The bathroom has no fan so you're left with a steamy room for much of your stay. On the plus side the location is great.

Very courteous staff, bellhop was super friendly, the room was immaculate and well laid out with pleasing decorations. I appreciate that the hotel took the time to invest in decent chairs in the hotel rooms. They had a very nice Valentine’s Day mini celebration with complimentary drinks and baked goods. I’d recommend staying here.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and property. We were floored by the friendliness and professionalism of every staff member we encountered. The accommodations were fantastic - much more spacious than other nearby hotels and shockingly quiet! Excellent location as well. We will absolutely be returning. I wish we could experience this level of welcome everywhere we travel.

Amazing anniversary weekend made possible by the Omni Berkshire Hotel New York. This hotel is a beautiful gem located in upper midtown. The staff went far and beyond not make sure our stay was a memorable one. Clean room, great guest services and walking distance to major points of interest. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. I had a weekend in NY to myself and could not have picked a better hotel. My room was spacious, cozy and impeccably clean. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful. Location is ideal. It is in the heart of everything but also very quiet. Everytime I choose Midtown I do not regret it. Never heard any street noise and the lobby was never congested. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. If you are looking for a respite from the hustle and bustle but want to have it right outside your door this is a perfect place.

Great location! For Times Square, Central Park, Grand Central etc. this is a great place to start your day. There are some things that could be improved upon in the rooms. Size of the bathrooms, drawer space and no coffee maker. For the price of the room these could be better.

Stayed her for about 3 nights and 4 days. Honestly, one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at and it was extremely clean. The door men were nice and opened the doors for the building and our car service. The gentlemen at the counter was great and welcoming. I am very picky of the places I choose to stay and I have to say when I come back to visit NYC I will stay here again. Thank you to all of the staff here at The Omni Berkshire Place!

Great location. Close to multiple subway stations, but also close enough to walk to many attractions, including multiple Broadway theatres. We were celebrating our daughters’ birthdays, and Krystle left a sweet birthday note and special treats for our girls on our first night (Thank you!). The concierge and doormen were extremely helpful and friendly, and the front desk was always willing to answer questions with a smile. Comfortable beds, clean room, and nice, adequately sized bathroom for multiple girls to get ready in the mornings. Would stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Omni, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The ambiance of the hotel is imbued with a unique charm that transports you to a different era, merging the allure of the past with the comforts of the present. What truly stood out during my stay, apart from the hotel's intrinsic beauty, was the commendable service I received from the staff. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine warmth made me feel valued and well-taken care of. Rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and well-appointed. The amenities provided were top-notch, reflecting the hotel's commitment to ensuring a luxurious stay for its guests.

Simply perfect! We will definitely be coming back for another stay. It was so convenient and a close walk to everything we had on our list of places to go. (Made our trip so easy!) We checked in a tad earlier than expected, and the staff were kind enough to check us in earlier. (Complete life saver with a toddler and after a 2½hr drive) Literally a perfect stay, and we can't wait to come back!

The Omni experience was wonderful! Quick check-in. Beautiful spacious and clean room. The location was walking distance to Fifth Avenue and all of the NYC Christmas extravaganza. Service to park and retrieve our car was amazingly fast. Considering the busy location, it was so quiet in the room while sleeping. Everything about this place is beyond good!

Stayed for about 4 weeks there. Great location and clean rooms, but not great amenities (the gym is pretty poor, not a lot of weights, pelotons are broken, the lifts are often broken). The staff are quite rude, they make you feel like you’re wasting their time while you’re there - especially in the restaurant.

The "Berk" delivers yet again! Fantastic team with great management. We stayed while New York was experiencing massive floods due to a tropical storm, yet the hotel staff didn't miss a beat. Our stay was 4 nights with two separate rooms and everything was executed flawlessly for us and friends. The hotel even went above and beyond with little "extras"...coffee delivered to our room every morning for free and and complimentary beverage coupons. The location is always fantastic and we sincerely enjoyed the stay...hope to be back soon!

Great value in January. We loved the daily beverage and free wifi for signing up as an Omni member. Room (king) was spacious, really spacious. Bathroom well appointed. Location very convenient to shopping, theater, park. Will stay at Omni again in the future.

Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This website will compare countless hotel sites and usually will have prices much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you won't be let down. Spent the Valentine weekend here and found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. I cannot say enough about Lenny the doorman. He was amazing and gets 5 stars!! Mary the concierge also stood out as a rock star. Friendly and sweet. My only constructive comment is the toilet water pressure isn’t great but typical of stately old NYC hotels. Bravo Berkshire!!

This place was so nice and accommodating. Spent the weekend in NYC with my mom and we booked this place last minute because the place we originally booked had terrible reviews. But this place was amazing and a close walk to central park which is why we came. The staff was so kind. And gave us amazing restaurant recommendations, the valet/dorr man was so so sweet and They had fresh ice cold citrus water in a big glass jar by the elevators and it was delicious. Very classy and a nice touch. I will be staying here in my future visits.

Omni Berkshire Place is very conveniently located - very close to MoMA, Rockefeller, Central Park, and Times Square. Rooms are clean, but small (typical of NYC small). Bathrooms are not vented. Omni beds are always so comfortable, and this hotel was no different. Service is great. I'm so glad the door hangers are back, though the hot chocolate was more milk than chocolate. We did not use any other services during our stay. The hotel offers valet service for $85 per night - no in/out access. We were charged for 3 nights of valet on our 2 night stay, but a call to the hotel fixed the extra charge. Give the valet about 20-30 minutes to bring your car out. Lenny the doorman is very friendly and fun. Stayed October 2023

Such a beautiful hotel, with a chill, relaxed, understanding, yet professional staff. The suite was large and the balcony just as large. Was definitely worth the price and the roar of construction outside in front of the building. Will definitely be staying again in the near future.

A well situated hotel in the center of Manhattan. Rooms are large and comfortably furnished and the staffs helpful. The only watch out is the gym. It is well appointed with a variety of machines, however the cleanliness left much to be desired and some of the equipment needs to be modernised. But overall a nice but expensive stay

We are thrilled to be able to stay at our home away from home again. The hotel and city are less busy due to the pandemic but still greatly accomdated. We are glad that many of the "old" staff were called back. It's nice to be welcomed by a friendly staff that remembers your name. Highest recommendation

Very courteous staff. Impressed with the server Andrew who was always ready to help. Didn't miss the room service but definitely missed a refrigerator and coffee machine in the room. Having one would surely be appreciated. Overall a very satisfying and pleasant stay.

The hotel lobby is really nice and had amazing decoration for Christmas. The concierge service were a great source of knowledge on how to navigate the sub way so that was great to. We went to bobs bar for a few drinks and the bartender Sonny K was first class and was also a great source of info about the city he was the best bartender in New York

I recently stayed at the Omni Berkshire Hotel, and it was a memorable experience. The rooms were spacious and clean. Its location in the heart of Manhattan meant I was just a stroll away from numerous venues, adding to the convenience of my stay. A noteworthy mention goes to the doormen and concierge, who were fantastic and always ready to assist. I do wish the rooms had a small fridge, and a minibar would be a nice addition. Despite that, the Omni Berkshire delivered an exceptional stay, and I would absolutely stay again.

Wonderful hotel and great value for NYC! The room was comfortable and quiet and the staff were friendly. Can't beat the location and it was great to have a room with big windows that was spacious - not always easy to find in the city. One of the nights they surprised us with wine and cheese in the lobby. We also met the General Manager, David, and he was very kind and welcoming of his guests.

The Google reviews live up to the hype of the Omni. So happy that we stayed here. The location is perfect; Central to walking around to all major attractions, shopping, and subways. All the staff is kind and considerate; we were even helped by off duty staff on the street as we tried to get our bearings. What type of review would this be if I didn’t mention Lenny; what a dream, what a delight. This will be our permanent location whenever we are in Manhattan.

Overall a very good stay. We stayed Friday night though Sunday morning rhe third weekend of November and had no real issues. The rooms were clean and nice. The location was very good. We came to see a show just off time Square and that was about a 15 minute walk. Central Park was about a 10 minute walk. Room service was a little slower and the walls could have had a little more insulation ( you could hear when someone took a shower). Check in and out was fairly quick and the price was very reasonable for the area. After check out we did have to wait 45 minutes for our . But overall very good stay

It was great to see the Omni Berkshire open again. It's very convenient for activities in mid-town without the headache of staying closer to Times Square. The rooms, staff, and service were as great as they were before the pandemic. The bar/restaurant menu was limited, but still good. Hopefully, they'll be able to open the full restaurant sometime in the future.

The Berkshire is my favorite hotel in NYC. My family and I have been staying there since 1962. The location is perfect, the rooms are very nice, and the staff is just wonderful. We stayed there recently because my daughter ran the NYC Marathon. The staff--reception, concierge, doormen, and housekeeping--provided extra ice buckets and towels, answered many questions, and asked my daughter about her running experience. They couldn't have been nicer! I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodations in Midtown. It's the best!

After my previous hotel screwed up my reservation, I booked a room here & showed up 15 minutes later to check in. They already had my room ready for me (!) and I realized that I was finally dealing with a hotel that was run by true professionals. Room was clean & very classic feeling while still being comfortable & inviting. Bathrooms are luxurious, a bit dated, but clean. Location was perfect and I felt totally safe & in good hands as a woman traveling alone. Ps- had the chicken dish at their restaurant/bar and it was delicious & the service impeccable. I joined the Omni loyalty program after this experience because this hotel made me so impressed with the brand & salvaged my trip to NYC.

Nice team. Michael was excellent. Renovated rooms are nice. Food at restaurant is excellent and fast with good service. Only issue is beds are very cheap with very low spring count and no edge guard. Suspect they got cheated by mattress supplier. Mattresses need to be replaced and upgraded.

Stayed for one night the week before Christmas. Great location, clean rooms and lobby, and the housekeeping and doormen were excellent, however the service from front desk lacking. One of our rooms was not ready for over an hour after the promised check-in time of three PM, despite them repeatedly telling me they would call me when it was finally ready, they didn't. Wouldn't have been a huge problem if we didn't have pre-show dinner reservations at 5. We got the key for the third room on the way out for the evening, after checking again for its status. It was 4:15 PM. Also, paid the extra $150 per room for late check-out, and of course each key stopped working at noon, after they assured us that wouldn't happen. Easy fix I know, but after the check-in debacle, the dismissive attitude of the front desk wasn't appreciated. Also, although I was aware of this when booked, no fridges/mini bars, coffee maker in the rooms and there where blocks of time where there was no room service available and the restaurant in the hotel was closed. We had to call a number just to receive water and no one answered, luckily I ran into a nice guy delivering some to another room next door so we were able to get some water bottles. Just a warning to maybe view this spot as more three star for the service (except the doormen and housekeepers we encountered who were very helpful). Hotel was clean and room was comfortable, location was perfect for what we were doing. Also, the dispatcher who scheduled car service was excellent.
