The staff is very nice. The place is clean and organized. Price is pretty affordable for Manhattan and the localization is amazing. The rooms are small, but it’s not bad

Excellent service, family atmosphere, we feel "at home"! Giovanny, Máximo, Wanda and Kate make the stay wonderful. Many thanks for everything!

I was there for one week in January. Convenience location, nice people and cheap. The shared bathroom were very clean and nice staff. Rooms are really small but it is Manhattan. There are youth people living there for several months.

The food is gross, the rent is affordable, the rooms are small. The place is filled with young interns, mostly from germany. The position is fantastic and you get a good place to stay. Everything is clean.

A really great place to stay in NYC. Weather you're traveling and need a resting area in the city or your getting your footing, Kolping house takes great care of you.

I've spent a month there, the accommodations are simple. I, for one, enjoyed the food. Although it is curious that they offer lunch or dinner and not breakfast. The location is amazing, since it's pretty cheap I think it's a good bang for your buck.

Great location, small room but & shared bathroom - probably the best you will find for that price.

I stayed here for a week when I visited New York and had a great experience! It’s a perfect place to meet lots of people from different backgrounds. The rooms are very decent, the showers/sanitary facilities are shared and there is a free meal on weekday evenings (really good food and generous portions!) In the heart of upper east Manhattan, 300 meters from 2 subway stations, 10 minutes walk from Central Park and close to all amenities (Whole Foods, Levain Bakery! A bookstore and other cafes and restaurants) I recommend 100%, you won't find cheaper in NYC!

The Staff is very kind moreover I am available to reach the Central Park just taking 5 mins on foot. I remember this place is nice and helpful when I had lived in NYC Life.

Stayed here for a month in 2022. I had an amazing time! It is one of the few affordable places for interns and students in Manhattan. Good food and facilities, and ever warmer staff members! Co-residents are mostly young crowd from all over the world, so it is a great place to meet new people and learn about their culture. The location is amazing too- you can walk to central park and the Metropolitan museum of art in less than 5-10 mins!

Its an old house in a great location on the Upper East Side, so close to the Central Park. Could be better managed, but rent includes free meals. Mostly young people, but a few old ones. Met some of my best friends here. It feels a bit like a fraternity if you stay long enough. Since this is only for up to a few months, this is perfect. Plus you can't beat the location.
