The room was small, but perfect for just needing a bed between tourist things. However, the workers were extremely rude. One refused to wait on my girlfriend and I (saying his station is closed, but helped the people behind us. We were charged for 2 nights - when we only booked one night. Usually with any other hotel this is an easy fix, not with them however. They said we couldn’t have our paperwork back until they refunded us and to come back later. When we came back, they had lost our paperwork and claimed we were refunded. WRONG. It has been 2 days since we have been there and they have yet to refund us - and won’t answer there phones. The staff is not worth the stay. I do not recommend.

The bathrooms were so small that I had to turn my body sideways on the toilet because my knees would hit the wall in front of the toilet. Other than that, the rooms were very stylish and comfortable. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They also welcomed us for our anniversary with drink vouchers which was really nice. My favorite part of the hotel was definitely the library bar. It’s really cool to look at and the atmosphere was very laid back and interesting. Warning, drinks are roughly $11 minimum!

Pretty lacking in amenities and we were never compensated for a major disturbance in our room, that we had been promised by the manager Randolph, however we still love this place despite the falls. Lovely front desk staff and doormen, lovely lobby, and generally reasonable prices. The one bedroom suites are apartment style spacious and fun though eccentric and sparse. Larger rooms lack adequate lighting, and the hot water does not always work, but brilliant price for a few nights in your own apartment, one that you can imagine you've JUST moved in to. TV reception is hit or miss and the cleaning staff is really rude and unrelenting even before normal checkout. But I promise,

Nice LITTLE space to sleep if your visiting the city. I feel sure they have larger rooms, mine was fine they just used the SMALL space wisely. Only thing I would not like if I was with family or friends in the same room is the no privacy issue of a clear window in the shower 😂 not my thing, but some people might be into it. The staff have been friendly and courteous. Hotel is decorated very well, nice modern touch on an older building. I would stay again keeping in mind of if I was alone or not.

What a great place to have a party. The lower level used to be a club in the eighties I believe....The still have the lights and sound system, at least when I DJ’ed there and it was thrilling to spin there for me as well as the crowd.

Smallest room I’ve ever stayed in, and I’m a flight attendant so have stayed in 1000’s of hotels. No place to put your suitcase and your knees touch the wall when you sit on the toilet. Im 5ft4 so you’ll have to poo with your knees in the air if you’re taller! The bar however was lovely although expensive. Fabulous location

It's not what you think it is and definitely not worth the price at all!!😡😠 The staff is rude and truly are not polite at all they act like they don't know anything at all and if you ask them a question!!🤔 I have been in better places than this one and was treated with respect and the price wasn't that expensive like the one at this place.

Their rooftop bar is a great location for after work cocktails.

Hotel staff is extremely friendly. The lobby is gorgeous. The rooms, however, could use some improvement. My room was a bit dim, not very bright. The air conditioner is quite loud, and the sink lacks proper drainage, so it fills up very quickly and drains very slowly. The amenities include a library themed bar, which is very nice and staffed by a very polite and knowledgeable bartender. The arcade-like area has a pool table and some basketball hoops for children.

We stayed there in September 2019. Although the hotel is very close to Central Park and the Subway system, that is all it has going for it. The rooms are bloody small for the price you pay, the lobby is dark to the point where staff failed to see a drunk had passed out and been sick in one of the chairs in the coner, the rooms are dark the desk clerk we spoke to on arrival was a little rude and the lifts are very dodgy, no way a 4star hotel

Rooms are so small, dirty sometimes, noisy place ...and the staff attitude is a disaster...not recommended at all

One of the most unique hotel experiences in New York I’ve ever had. Is it a venue? A restaurant? A hot music video shoot? Yes yes and yes.

When I stayed here, it was the single tiniest room I’d ever paid for, and a boiling hot summer. The AC was broken, and the bed had only a heavy winter comforter. They wouldn’t fix the AC or move me, so instead they offered me a continental breakfast to make up for a miserable night that cost me far more than it should. I should have asked for a refund.

We had a great stay! They upgraded us to a king size room for free so our trip was already starting off great. The staff were helpful and the room was clean. The hotel is also in a great location with a great cafe next door (Fluffy's). The only thing which wasn't great was the window to the bathroom in the room which was covered with a curtain but it didn't matter too much. The deposit and fees we knew about before staying there so they didn't bother us too much. But overall a great stay.
