Wonderful spot to stop by and people watch or read a book. Plenty of space to play with children in a beautiful setting. Running along the river park is common and you can also take a stroll for miles should you want to. There are bathrooms along the river park too. Composting area is found at the brown bins at pier 66. Grass area closed for restoration over the winter months. Gets very busy at weekends and after 6pm in the week.

A long walk along the Hudson River. Lots of restaurants and sights to see. Lots of flowers and animals. Also has playgrounds, mini golf, basketball ball courts and beach volleyball court. It has a beautiful carousel with a nautical theme.

A breath of freshness and greens and beauty. One of the great wonders of New York City. Nature amongst the western edge of the island. Looking back at the soaring towers of concrete.

Amazing oasis of greens in the concrete jungle of manhattan. The green areas may be better maintained but overall looks and feels great. This place is popular amongst tourists and health freaks, good for running, exercises and yoga. The view from the river side is breathtaking. Would highly recommend this park

Really like the Hudson River Park. We walked over from the High Line and spent some time on "Little Island" which we had not been to before It is lovely little retreat with great view over the Hudson River. As the name suggests, it is a small island with three main areas which are beautifully set between paths, vegetation beds and trees. There are restrooms, a small food area and then the elevated viewpoint over the river and the "Amph", a small amphitheater with stage.

Beautiful area to walk / run / bike / or hang out. So many unique piers and public artwork enhance the park wherever you venture! The area around Pier 26 is my favorite, but the ones in Chelsea (Piers 55-64) are also lovely! Always good for people watching or an evening stroll, especially on those hot summer nights.

Nice place to ride Citibike over to , there's a dedicated riding path (running both ways) going all the way down towards World Trade Center. There's benches and a fountain here and piers .

Lovely park / path that runs alongside the Hudson River. It is also next to the 9A highway but you don't notice the road as the crickets make enough noise to drown out the traffic noise. It was a great place to run along. We loved the boats moored alongside, not least the enormous Intrepid aircraft carrier!

I love this park, with its beautiful green lawns and breathtaking views of the Hudson River. We visited during Labor Day weekend and started walking at Pier 62 towards the Trade Center. There were some kayakers having fun in the river as well. We stopped at The Carousel with hand carved animals of New York State. Really cool and a little weird! You can ride a unicorn and also a sturgeon or a horseshoe crab! As we walked further downtown we stopped at Brookfield Center and had the best ice cream I ever had at Le District. All in all it was a lovely day filled with sunshine and a cool breeze from the river.

A captivating sanctuary of lush foliage amid the urban expanse of Manhattan, this oasis stands out with its well-maintained green spaces that contribute to an overall splendid ambiance. Embraced by both tourists and fitness enthusiasts, the park offers an ideal setting for running, exercise, and yoga. The breathtaking view from the riverside further enhances the park's allure. I wholeheartedly recommend this enchanting retreat.

A nice park to visit with the family with beautiful views, I little be to crowded, and I didn't like the fact that you need to get tickets in advance to get in for such small park.

Riverside and pathways go along so well. Hudson River and it’s different piers are beautiful. Hire a bike to cover the pathway or treat yourself with an helicopter ride. It’s all worth as the city is so beautiful and amazes you every time.

This a very nice park and huge. It took me 2 hours to walk it all around. You can also walk and take pictures of New York city. Highly recommend it.

It's always been a really nice part of NYC. My Aunt lives in that area so whenever visiting her I love to go, & take a nice walk through. Great look at the water right there, & NJ right across. It's also nice to see The NYC Parks Enforcement Officer's always patrolling making sure people are acting appropriately. No drama is needed. This City is going through a lot of it already. Hudson River Park is a place to enjoy yourself, & your time there. Enjoy your time with friend's or family.

Hudson River Park is the largest riverside park. There is a beautifully New Jersey skyline. Keep your camera ready for the Golden Hours.
