👍👍 Eleanor and I had a great chat. Somewhat one-sided, but fun none the less. She still has a lot to offer if you listen hard. People often mention park,

Stop by for photos commemorating the famed First Lady if you are in the park.

Anna Eleanor Roosevelt was an amazing woman who accomplished so much in her lifetime. She persevered through her own struggles and fought for others rights as well. She wrote the Declaration of Human Rights for the UN. An inspiring woman, her statue has a powerful aura. Loved the visit and hope to see more motivational statutes in NY!

If you're a fan of Eleanor Roosevelt, and who isn't, this statue is for you. I like it because my 4 year old daughter always says the statue of Mrs. Roosevelt looks like my mom, and that inevitably makes me want to shoot whatever I'm drinking out my nose. Do not visit while drinking hot beverages.

A statue sits on the corner, at the entrance to the park. She has been a singular figure watching over the park, wearing a mask someone placed on her as COVID tore through the city. I found the park to be a necessary place to visit daily to keep myself calm during WFH.

So pretty!! This is such a wonderful area for families and upper west side locals. It is truly a blessing to call this neighborhood home. While Central Park is hustling and bustling with annoying tourists and a million people trying to sell you a million different things, elephant park and river side park generally, is a safe haven. Enjoy.

Beautiful and stress-free. Local residents only for the most part. Dog park is best in city.

The Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial at W. 72nd St. in NYC is a poignant tribute to one of America's most iconic leaders. Nestled in Riverside Park, this memorial invites visitors to reflect on FDR's transformative presidency. The design seamlessly blends natural elements with artistic representations of FDR's legacy, creating a serene atmosphere for contemplation. The memorial's thoughtful layout guides visitors through FDR's four terms in office, capturing the nation's journey through the Great Depression and World War II. Sculptures and inscriptions provide insight into his leadership and compassion, while water features evoke a sense of tranquility. The attention to detail is evident in the meticulous craftsmanship of the artworks and the careful selection of quotes that adorn the walls. The combination of greenery, stone, and water fosters a sense of introspection, making it a peaceful escape from the bustling city. Overall, the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial stands as a testament to FDR's enduring impact on the nation. It's a must-visit for history enthusiasts, offering a unique blend of historical significance and natural beauty.
