Everything was AMAZING. Very fresh, amazing and innovative cocktails. Order the shrimp cavatelli and the ribeye. “The left behind” is a fabulous cocktail for those who love Japanese whiskey. The ambiance and service were great—look for a special spot behind the bookcase!

We are traveling for the holidays and stumbled across this hideaway restaurant. It wowed us from the stair way entry to the cuisine served. I ordered the Artic Char and it was so balanced. For dessert, we ordered the Baked Alaska and the Chocolate Mousse Espresso and, without a doubt in my mind, the chocolate mousse was off the charts. Everything was beautifully presented and wonderfully made! Thank you, Pomona!

Pomona is exceptional. We were greeted at the door by attentive and friendly hostesses, who led us to coat check and then downstairs under dramatic stone arches. We emerged in the bar/dining room that was both modern and classic with touches of the namesake Pomona, Roman goddess of the harvest. Our dinner was exquisite (lobster, mackerel, black truffle escarole and mushroom “Diane”), and our cocktails were unique. My friend and I kept stopping mid-sentence to exclaim about the flavors. (Prometheus, GunSlinger, and Clover Club are must try.) It’s not easy to wow in this city of creative cocktails! Alex, who we learned used to be head bartender at speakeasy Gibson + Luce, made our night particularly memorable. Terrific service. Can’t wait to come back and see the adjacent lounge!!

Amazing food, great ambiance and service. The Savage Lounge is a great place to dance and have drinks with friends. Had my birthday party there this year. Also must try the truffle fries and the desserts!

Great food, the night we were there they had a menu presented by the chef of Le Circ. Savage Lounge is in the back and a fun place, Snoop Dogg was a guest DJ when we were there.

Wow! Not that I really Follow the whole Trendroid Celebuloid Star studded venues in NYC (I can always get in on any night, ahem...) BUT... The food here is something whacky! How do they offer such an amazing menu and afford Billionaires Row's sky high rents? It don't make sense! What does make sense is your bill at the end of a decadent meal! I work in the area and this is downright cheap (even the Halal Carts are pricey) come for lunch because dinner stacks up quickly... Speaking of quickly, after a few drinks we found ourselves in the depths of the restaurant in their Secret speakeasy (Remember the Celebs comment? Well...) Called Savage. It was Fierce! The bartender made certain I could only recall snippets of the night and Crowd (Bravo. Well played).. I plan on returning, hopefully to leave with more of a story (too many spots and fuzzy memories) than "I saw that guy from that show. Or lady from that song"... I shall keep my wits and update this review soon... Shhhh!!!

Pomona is absolutely fabulous! The atmosphere is hip and modern, but also perfect for those seeking an intimate dining experience. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating. Every dish our server recommended exceeded our expectations. The cocktails were wonderful as well. I highly recommend dining at Pomona!

-EDIT- after venue's reply below: No William, It's actually not typical for venue staff to upcharge patrons an arbitrary amount, and you’ll have a hard time convincing me otherwise. Consider the slim odds of your supposed percentage gratuity amount coming to exactly $1.00 even; highly unlikely when prices are seldom whole numbers and everything gets taxed. Your reply is well-packaged but logically deficient. Remember what happened to the piggy who built the straw house? There weren’t any notifications of auto-gratuity on receipt or elsewhere, and I clearly mentioned tip was left in cash, so I don’t see Pomona making an effort to be transparent. Loved the “be vigilant when signing your bill” and “your accidental generosity”; those are great spins, but you lost me at “Sometimes I find myself double tipping”. Surely you jest? Take your middle management fable back to kindergarten and include your job title next time when signing your name since you’re representing a business. Hugs, Artem -ORIGINAL- I have a strong dislike of places that weasel money out of you by overcharging your credit card more than what you signed off on. I find it disgusting. Just noticed my credit card charge came in at a dollar more, after I clearly put a different number on the check total. And this is after I left a 20% cash tip. I won't be calling my credit card company over a dollar, but you just lost a rating. Hope it was worth it.

Could go on and on about this place. Everything is well executed. The food was remarkable and cooked to perfection and the decor is incredibly tasteful. All in all a wonderful experience.

The service and food were exceptional! I recommend sampling many starters and entree’s. The oysters were amazing with a celery sorbet and the Mackerel Terrine with jalapeño broth wow! Then the entree’s slow cooked Halibut and Seared A-5 Miyazaki Wagyu absolutely crazy good! Then to end the Baked Alaska was the best dessert ever! Great music and service made Pomona a regular stop for me! Excellent!
