Located in upper west Manhattan. This is a prime location for the arts. You can easily access Central Park, Juliard, metropolitan of Opera, NYC Ballet, and the New York Philharmonic. If you’re into the performing arts.. this is where you should be! Easily accessible by the 1,2, A,C lines and very close to NY staples such as TJs and Levain Bakery.

Lincoln Center is STUNNING. I have only had the privilege, at this time, of viewing the space from the outside, but, you can sense the grandeur of this venue by simply standing at the threshold of this structure. I am so excited to experience a ballet or an opera in this space at some point. The whole complex is absolutely beautiful. If you're in the area, and just want to explore, this space has great walkability and there is so much to see just by being in the outdoor spaces of Lincoln Center. Absolutely incredible!

This is the leading performing arts center in New York and one of the best in the world. Lincoln Center has buildings for the performing arts, jazz, music, cinema, etc. Currently, the Big Apple Circus is in a tent in Lincoln Center. Big Apple Circus is a great little circus. It's definitely worth attending.

Gorgeous opera house, known to be a top 10 in the world. Modern architecture with beautiful light fixtures. Clear view of the stage from any seat in Orchestra. No dress code, but many people are dressed up. Fun night.

The most beautiful opera house in the world. The MET has the best singers. I have been to the MET since my high school years and it was my favorite place ever since. The art works are amazing.

Geffen Hall was gorgeous and much more intimate than I expected for such a renowned venue.

Watching The Nutcracker at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts was fantastic. It wasn’t just the ballet that was great but also the hall and the environment. The event was very well organized and it’s a classy place. We went to see The Nutcracker in December of 2023 and it didn’t disappoint. I would definitely recommend you checking out any events that are taking place .

So many venues in one place. A must see in NYC anytime of year. I was just here for the Magic Flute opera at the Metropolitan Opera. They offer tours, plenty of easy access to facilities inside the locals. Great for people watching during events. Parking below the opera house, many places to eat nearby.

Must visit for everyone who comes to nyc. Been countless times and it honestly never gets old. Even to come to hangout and wall around at night especially with the lights it's beautiful. There are also affordable tickets like 30 for 30. And opera tickets at the met. And the ballet. Love this place :)

It was so chaotic. However, the kept their cool. Impressive. I guess organized chaos. The theater, of course, is impressive. My first time, better than I imagined. I recommend you explore all levels. Lots to see.

When I was in New York with my family, we took a lot of time to visit this famous place. A multi-purpose venue with many distinguished institutions such as the Metropolitan Opera and the New York City Ballet. We were here at just the right time, "Harry Potter" premiere mania drives New York crazy. Fans camped out for days to catch their favorite stars at the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" premiere. We saw it Daniela Radcliffe, who plays the main character in all eight films in the franchise's remarkable run, and other main stars such as Emma Watson and Tom Felton, who diligently greeted the audience. They all walked the red carpet. Nice experience.

The heart of the main cultural events in the city - philharmonic, opera, and ballet... And the movie theaters where they play cool movies.. Outside is pretty cool, too... Even if you don't have a ticket for a performance, you can still visit the plaza and David Geffen center for a drink at the cafe bar, for example...

pressive show and extremely talented actors omg they were all unbelievable😳🙌🏾. The venue was packed and cold but after entering the building honestly you would forget all about that. They had lots of places to take pics and videos and the artwork was very very detailed and very beautifully done. I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to visit whenever they are in town and if the Big Apple Circus 🎪 is open because I believe it’s a seasonal event but I’m not sure, you can Google it just to be sure and for more info. The bathroom was outdoors though and it was freezing in NYC that day so bear in mind that you will need a nice jacket to keep you warm. My daughter is 12 and she was very happy with the show from start to finish. It’s a very kid friendly show that parents along with their children will definitely enjoy watching. There’s also a concession area where you can take pics, buy food and gifts and merchandise from the show. You will also see the actors walking by in the concession area (picnic area) where they would take pics with the kids or anyone who asks for a photo. The actors were very nice and social and the staff were very professional and helpful. Enjoyed every minute of this experience and recommend everyone to go see it especially with the kids. You will enjoy it.

We didn't attend a show, but just stopped by to look at the site. We went into the gift shop and bought a few things. The woman working there was very helpful.

Went to a 2pm ballet in December… The Nutcracker. Nice that there were plenty of restrooms and elevator to reach the 4th floor. Small bars with limited soft drinks, water, beer and wine are located on each floor. Note that you cannot take anything other than water into the theater.

Beautiful buildings. First time seeing a show at the Lincoln center and I saw the New York City ballet. Place was nice and clean and the staff were friendly. They are very strict about not eating and using your phones while inside the theater. The seats however are very narrow so I took a star off for that.

Love Lincoln centers Summer for the city!!! Midsummer nights swing was always a highlight and I’m glad to have this to scratch that itch I’ve been missing for two years! I did prefer the dance floor in Damrosch park, since I feel the fountain breaks up the dance floor and makes it feel more challenging to socialize and find fellow dancers, but the disco ball does look cool in photos 😝

An awesome venue for all performances! Seats r spacious, velvet, and the explanations of the singing on the individual seat screens is just fantastic! It makes opera intelligible 4 the average fan.

High end entertainment comprised of rich culture, lavish architecture, and wonderful performances. From the moment you step foot on premise the grand atmosphere is pervasive. The spacious plaza is buzzing with excitement prior to a performance. Ample photo opportunities exist with the extravagant decor that contribute to the opulent vibe. Wide range of performances cater to the gamut of attendees.

A beautiful place. It’s actually a complex. Several buildings in the same area with green areas between them and a nice plaza with a big fountain in the middle. Absolutely would recommend visiting it. It’s worth visiting. and there is a few restaurants/bars nearby for drinks/food after.

This is such an iconic location to come listen to excellent music. We wanted to see Xian Chang during the Summer for the City event going on these few months. It was absolutely incredible seeing this massive theater and iconic halls. Every seat has a fantastic view of the area and allows for a perfect experience. They do have an outside bar where you can buy drinks and snacks. They don’t do physical programs anymore, however there are QR codes near the doors to allow you to pull up programs for the event going on that night. I highly suggest coming here if you want to experience a once (or more) in a lifetime musical performance that will take your breath away!

Must see if you're in Manhattan. Comfortable seats with personal electronic subtitles. If you want to visit the restaurant - make a reservation, it gets crowded in the intermissions.

The Josie Robertson public space has transformed into one inviting guests to stay even longer. There is a temporary artificial turf around the famous fountain. It’s a great space to picnic on a date or with family. There are two concession stands selling ice cream and small plates. Worth a couple hours of your time as we wait for the traditional high art shows to return.

Stunning architecture. Beautiful opera. Covid protocols very secure. Pro tip: hustle at intermission to get into the line for the bar. Line forms quickly.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is a wonderful place to visit, explore, and enjoy the arts. Summer 2022 sees a special opportunity to disco the night away under the stars and a giant mirror ball. Enjoy the sculptures, rest areas, and just sit back and people watch.

We attended the NYC Ballet Fall Gala! Caught glimpses of some celebrities! Venue is beautiful, a night to see how the other half lives! A protest was going on across the street with the musicians, nothing rowdy

It was such an honor that Fire Shut Up in My Bones was our first Met Opera live performance. The opera was incredibly moving and the theatre was as stunning as I’d imagined. We sat in row F of the Grand Tier and the view/sound balance was just right in my opinion.

As a former New Yorker, the Metropolitan Opera is a perfect venue for Opera. Plan ahead if you make a pilgrimage to see your favorite opera or singers. Reasonable prices if you're willing to sit in the balcony or standing room.

I love Lincoln Center. I am a patron of the NYC Ballet and the NY Philharmonic so I attend many concerts at the David Koch and Geffen Theaters there. I always meet cool people from all over the world in the grand lobby during pre concert and intermission sessions.

It's just like in the movie, " Moonstruck" which is a beautiful collection of theater and nice fountains and lights. It's so pretty at night and nice restaurants close by. We saw a ballet.

Stunning. Stunning. Stunning. I went on a date to go to the New York City Ballet and I was blown away! The architecture and the space is just so impressive! WE found these amazing tickets that are $30 for people who are under 30 years old. If you want an affordable and artsy date in the City this is the spot!

Beautiful, iconic venue for a special night on the town! The Chandelier in the Opera house is spectacular. Bars and restrooms on most floors. Water is also available, to the side of the bars, which is considerate. Fantastic experience at the Metropolitan Opera House.

We were there to watch Shen Yun a Cultural song and dance performance before Communist China. Tickets were super expensive, the show lacked. On a scale from one to ten? I would rate a 6, the Costumes were colorful and the digital screen staged the scenes for each story line. The orchestra was amazing.

Summer for the City was well needed and much appreciated as I caught activities on two different days in the outdoor space in the Lincoln Center complex. The massive disco ball lived up to the hype with multiple performers bringing different vibes to the stage and coaching the audience to get their inner dance bunny out. I didn't miss my opportunity and the shared dance experience outdoors, with plenty of fresh air to enjoy, really was a great stress reliever after a couple years of health crisis. It's a large space, concessions are available, and the wife front staircase (each painted a rainbow color during Pride month) from the 9th avenue/Columbus side are an easy place to meet up friends coming from different locations.
