For a beer store, it's a pretty good bar. As just a beer store specializing in harder to find craft beer, and good ones at that, it deserves a high rating. Add in a bar with about a dozen good beers on tap, including a nitro line, and it's a great place to try some new brews. The staff is very knowledgeable about the beer both on tap and in bottles through the store. There is most definitely a style to suit any taste here.

Didn’t really feel welcome here after visiting twice. Decent, though unrefridgerated, can selection.

What a wonderful place to hangout, watch the crowds go by, and guzzle some awesome beer all at the same time! Too bad it’s a BYOH (bring your own ‘hors d’œuvres’) otherwise so pleasantly pleasant. Highly recommended for anytime dates, and get togethers between friends and more. Maybe that meeting place for the blind date online or dating-something app!!

This is a great place that I pass by almost everyday. I had to buy a Christmas gift for my boss yesterday who happens to love craft beer so I decided to give them a try. I’m not a beer drinker at all so I had no idea what to ask for. The man behind the counter was incredibly knowledgeable and so helpful. He was able to give me a selection of 6 different craft beers that made my boss very happy. I really wish I knew his name because he should be recognized for doing such good work! The environment there is really great and i just can’t get over how helpful this man was. Just a terrific experience overall. Thanks so much!

Been coming here since the opening of the brick and mortar at Orchard Stree(always in my heart!), and stayed a customer even at the move in Essex Market. Lauren is the best, knows my palette from my requests and could even tell me what my taste profile is! I live in Queens and work in City Hall area and always pass through whenever Lauren is working, my outpost in Manhattan!

The best craft beer spot in the neighborhood. 20 taps, with a focus on American breweries. Bottles and cans to stay or go. Growler and crowler fills to go. Regularly hosting events such as tap takeovers and beer classes. They have a few wines available by the glass, and free pretzel crumbs!

Good beer selection and atmosphere. Very good bartenders. Love this place and have been flogging for years. Pardon my French is next door if you want food.

Awesome place for some genuinely interesting beers in the Lower East Side. It's a good balance of bar (plenty of space to sit and drink) and shop (lots if choices to buy and leave with). Plus they stock Trooper from Robinsons, so that's a bonus.

Fantastic selection and a great set of taps. Bottle or can service fee is a bit steep but not a big deal. Drink there or take away. The NY case in the back is fun and full of great local things. Low key atmosphere and also not snobby. It’s perfect for someone new to good beer or someone experienced. All will feel comfortable here.

One of my fav local spots to grab a beer and enjoy the market! They always have a fun variety of beers cycling through, and Lauren is the absolute BEST! If you're hungry, you can always grab food at one of the many awesome vendors nearby and enjoy it at the bar with your beer 🍻

The owner is rude and his staff are also very unhelpful. He also hasn’t updated his google pictures because he does not own the bar on Orchard street anymore but a little coffee stand in LeS probably because karma knocked on his door.

There are lot of beers, ciders and other beverages available on tap, cans, and bottles. The COVID19 countermeasures and restroom are excellent.

Great selection of beers. I would suggest getting the beers on tap if you want to stay and drink as there’s a $3 per bottle surcharge which can bite your wallet. But you can always take them home without the surcharge!

This place is a beer (and cider) lover's paradise. A mashup of a bar and a convenience store, or bodega if you're a New Yorker. If you can't find what you want on tap, it's likely in the back. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. You can even purchase beer to go. Highly recommended it.

I swung by Top Hops after a super stressful day and it was fantastic! I wanted a juicy IPA and Lauren recommended life changing selections. New favorite spot for sure- Lauren is genius!
