Great spot to get a picture of the midtown skyline. On a warm sunny day, you’ll also see turtles swimming in the water and people rowing boats on the water. On the walk over, if you pass by Lady’s Pavilion, you might even come across a musical group performance. People often sit on top of the rocks and relax for a while before moving to explore the rest of Central Park.

Best view of midtown! An ideal spot to gather with friends to picnic and still keep social distance. Came here countless times during this summer. It’s an ideal place to unwind and relax while enjoying the marvelous view! 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♂️

Great spot to take photos, and good location to make selfies and group shots. Tip: don’t climb up at the steep southern part directly, instead stick to the left side and safely enter the rocky outcrop from the northern beach side. Can be tricky otherwise in particular getting down. Tip: watch for turtles sunbathing and sticking out of the water.

    ニューヨークの朝は早い。 セントラルパークは朝ジョグの聖地。 途中ここ湖畔の巨石は意外と知られていない。 朝日が昇るのをここで過ごしてはいかがでしょう。心がスッキリします。

This fairly secluded cluster of rocks provides a great view of the skyline in Manhattan! You can lay out on the rocks, or sit and enjoy the view quietly. To get to this, there is a small walk path. You may see people filming here - it seems like a great place to take pictures and enjoy the view in relative quiet. You'll be treated to small boats as they row past (rentals). Looking to feel like you've transported out of the bustle of Manhattan? Then go to The Rock with a View, sit back, and relax!

Absolutely my favorite part of the entire Central Park! It's really chill even during day time; however, being there in the summer at night time is the best. It's a great spot if you just want to slow down in a big city while admiring the beauty skyline of NYC.

Such a nice place to take a break from the hustle and bustle in the city. Pack yourself a picnic, find a nice spot (on a rock, perhaps), relax and enjoy the views. Its a relaxing space that allows you to get in touch with nature.
