What an elegant movie theater. We purchased cocktails at JDs bar which is located inside the threater. Drinks after 4pm i think and food purchased at JDs bar are allowed in the movie theater. The theater had reclining chairs. The theater was clean and great service. We went to the Joker. What a fantastic movie. It was worth the$18.50 ticket. I would recommend this theater if you feeling like splurging.

This cinema is not big. There are four to five screens , and there are not many seats in each auditorium. But the seats are comfortable and big, of course the seats are reclined. So, you can relaxed and spread yourself. I can say it is one of the most comfortable cinema seat I have tried. That is the reason worth to take a long drive to this cinema and their ticket cost a little bit higher than average. They contain a small bar, you can have a small talk with your friends there when you are waiting for the movie or you can take a river-side walk. The night view should be more beautiful than daytime, even I didn't enjoy it before. of course, it must be colder, take more clothes when you are walking outside.

This theater is located kind of away from the city center, not very convenient spot to get to. But, that comes with less crowded theaters, which is nice. They offer is a bit unusual. Very interesting films, like international films and independent films that are not offered at other theaters. With that, it is a bit pricey. We went to see an international film during a normal matinee hours, but that does not matter at this theater, it still is pricey, not matter what day or time you go. The inside was very clean, large, with high quality installation. The screen is not huge, but a good size. The interior design was very simple, modern bur kind of monochromatic and dark. The seats are pre-selected at the time of purchase. The chairs were nice, soft leather, large and comfy. They recline and the foot rest comes up for complete relaxation. BUT, some the chair that I was sitting didn't work so well... Acoustic was really good, and the resolution the screen was good too. A staff came in before the trailers started. He introduces himself with a smile and said to ask any question or concern we might have, which was a nice service. After the movie, as we were leaving the theater, staffs greeted us and thanked us from coming. Very nice service, but not a movie theater that I would frequent, due to location and price. It is good to know that we have a movie theater that offers interesting foreign and independence films.

Aside from being as far west as you can go, this movie theater is great. Yes it costs a couple of bucks more, but there is a bar and a lot of food choices. The theater itself is awesome too. Reclining chairs and some of the theaters have a very intimate feel.

Great theater but small. There are 8 screens. There's a bar in the lobby. You can buy beer and wine while you watch your movie. The down side is that it's in a weird place for a theater. It's on 57th & 12th. It's only 2 years old and very clean. Some may find it a little spooky inside. Very nice place.

Very posh theater. They had comfortable reclining seats before it became a standard in the city. The lobby and restrooms are reminiscent of a very nice hotel. It’s connect to bar but I don’t think you can bring drinks or food from there into the theater. They have their own concession stand and it has the usual junk food most theaters offer at $$. The staff is courteous and professional. The theater is much clear we than most theaters I’ve been too in New York City. They don’t have as many screens or how as many titles as the larger movie chains but their prices are competitive and the experience is elevated.

Absolutely beautiful new movie theater which no one knows about! Come quick and get a private viewing because no one is here yet! Fabulous reclining seats, but no foot rest though. But everything’s clean and smells brand new. Love it!!

Clean, comfortable seats, friendly staff, this was my first visit & was very much enjoyed. The sound was crisp, the back of the chairs reclined & there was ample leg room. The only inconvenience to me was the distance from the train station to the theater. Nonetheless, I would still recommend The Landmark at 57 West for an excellent movie theater experience.

The Landmark was recommended to me by an Oscar Winning Documentarian. It's OK, and on a Friday night was lightly attended. Like many film theatres these days, seats are assigned, the food fare is better than traditional popcorn and Milk Duds, but there is nothing that is spectacular about this place - dare I call it pedestrian. The seats are nice, and large, but don't recline to a bed (iPics style), and there isn't gourmet food fare here. Prices are about $18 per adult ticket, as I recall, there is paid parking relatively nearby, and it boarders the West Side Highway. The vibe was rather lonely though. I can't explain why, but it was. $$$ of $$$$$. Clean. I would recommend this theatre, but not overwhelmingly so.
