8/15/21, The Best RIBS!!! 5/8/21, They make the BEST SPARE RIBS. 11/11/20, large store compared to outside appearance. The full array of cooked foods, soups and baked pastries tickled my taste buds. I was told the had Pathmark affiliations. I went to to get cat food and ended up with my Foods! Great experience!!

Love shopping for my food here but its been already 4 times i reach the point to pay and some cash register ladies have disgusting attitudes . Rolling theyre eyes , i told one of them i want a bag she wasnt listening so she did not give me one i told her excuse me i need a bag she tells me you didnt say you wanted a bag i told her i did she says no u didnt and flings the bag and rolls her eyes .. second lady rolls her eyes because i didnt hurry to give her the number for my card . If you dont like your job Find Another One !!!!! Why be miserable and treat customers like that . Manager needs to speak to people about treating customer right or hire new people because its disgusting .

Horrible customer service. You're better off at Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. Over-priced for stuff that Whole Foods offers at a discount for Amazon Prime members, minus the attitude.

I've been shopping here for quite some time, contributing thousands of dollars, and I was recently shown that my loyalty to this company meant little to nothing. I returned to the store about a day after a representative from customer service informed me that I may make an exchange for the correct coffee creamer that I purchased after I admitted to opening the product. The day I returned, I spoke with a different sales representative who eventually directed me to the manager, Felix. Felix told her to tell me (even though I was standing right there) that he would not allow me to exchange the item because it was opened. Faithfully, the representative echoed his words and walked away. I approached Felix and asked if he may grant me this one-time exception, reasoning that I've been a faithful customer, have invested plenty of money into the establishment, had no intent on cheating the company, and that if anyone can bear the burden of waste, it would be Foodtown, based on my patronage. Without recognizing my loyalty to the company, Felix subjected me to a crude interrogation seeking to undermine me. I couldn't help but feel as though Felix's condescending tone and his presumption that I was a crook stemmed from racial microaggressions. I was met with disregard, disrespect, and disappointment, and after being interrogated and having my card scanned to determine my customer-spending / loyalty card level, I was permitted to make the exchange. No one should have to go through the process I went through. My faith in this company dropped exponentially, and a warning to all patrons of this store: Seemingly, we are simply a financial resource, our "customer loyalty cards" are a means to get us to spend more on already over-priced items, and the moment you cost the company a few dollars, they will shun you away. Further, most of the cashiers are ill-mannered, unprofessional, and always sizing people up. This not an establishment worthy of longevity.

This supermarket is appalling & ran by a joke of staff. Every-time, I have shopped here and checked out items rang up for the incorrect price and this is outside of a sale price! Then, a cashier will proceed to bicker about the pricing. Instead of just confirming and selling it for the advertised price. It’s truly disgusting, how these employees handle customers. Secondly, every time I pay cash here, I am shorted. Specifically by Delmarr! A complete and utter thief. It’s no coincidence because It’s happened on multiple occasions. This place needs a clean up ASAP! However, I won’t be shopping here anymore. Thanks for NOTHING!

Just had to walk out they have about 4 registers open and about 5 workers standing near customer service looking around. It makes no sense. Some of us are not tryna be in there for two hours just standing in line. And then they won’t help you check out at customer service even though there are 5 of them standing there. Do better!

The quality of the produce, such as tomatoes, lemons, cucumbers, etc., has depreciated. I remember the grand opening of Foodtown. Everything, including the produce, was top quality. What happened??? It seems as though the owners have become lax. However, your prices continue to increase. Could you prove me wrong moving forward? Our community deserves better.

Prices too damn high! I'd rather pay $6 round trip for a subway/bus ride to Costco, Lidl, or Dollar Tree. It's simply not worth it, especially the meats. The cashiers are wonderful -even their supervisors, but it's not worth it to me.

I love this supermarket. Fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and seafood. There's a little bakery with fresh bread, pastries and goodies to satisfy your craving. Don't forget to get a club card for the awesome savings.

It's great because it is open till midnight and just that is the latest open grocery store in the near vicinity, but it sucks cause their prices are way more than Target that is just a half mile(15 minute) walk from them. Plus, Target price matches almost every name brand item with just adds a finishing blow to FoodTown.

Great bodega in Manhattan. Great also. Eva use it’s the last bodega I see before my turn to city college. They have ice coffe there which I love. A little pricey but like the guy said at least I get my coffee with a smile.

If it wasn’t for my physic abilities, of go here or there’, I would not have realized the people who work here are extremely rude! They act like they know you just because you shop in their store. Always in your business, keeping your account information on prints that shouldn’t been mixed with other information anyway? They don’t want your money. They don’t own Foodtown Inc. They’re simply Workers to pay their own way in life and stay stagnant. No logic. Always arguing with their customers as if it doesn’t reflect on Them. You live there day and night yet the hospitality/parental is disgusting, police are always in the area, as the avenue is ALWAYS being stolen from every time I stop at this train stop. This place needs to be replaced or a new management system. Be aware that unconscious people can take your exquisite future potentials away if you’re not empowered or hasty. Why invest energy into a misery box 🏠 when I can support farmers markets or a live as if breakfast at Tiffany’s strolling 5th Avenue or better train line.

Pros: they have a lot of stuff from American, Latin, Caribbean cuisines. Always well-stocked. Cons: so expensive and slow you want to cry. Once TJs opens on 125th it's over for this place. Even the rice is too expensive. Overall, it's there if you need one thing and don't have time to go to a more affordable store but do have time to wait on the slowest lines ever with like 2 checkers total.

The place is awesome cleaned usually stocked with everything you try to buy there, as far as food is concerned. One issue me and some other members, loyal food town customers have is food town at 145th Street in Hamilton heights seems to always be short of staff.. there is always a line..

the best sugar cane in Manhattan, New York City well I only know of the very few few other places, despite of massive search online and research from the streets here is why this one is the best 1. they are open 24/7 although there was few times I came and they were not open. from what I got it it's not even because of a snow or any kind of incline weather but it's seems it just due to staff shortage 2. they keep their sugar canes outside of the refrigerator or freezer. a place in Chinatown for reference keeps there sugar canes almost always in the refrigerator except maybe during busy time in summer. why is this important 1-by keeping it at the room temperature the freshly squeeze sugar cane juice is not as cold and you can drink it faster, which is imperative to get the most benefits of the all the nutrients it provides you really want to finish it within 2 minutes but don't chug it. 2-you can actually taste the full spectrum of its flavor, however as the time passes all the beautiful flavors and tastes deteriorate fast and you are left with basically a dream that tastes like sugar water. wants insurance completely the ground which is usually around 15-20 minutes or sooner depending on the size and the plants it actually might become bad for you according to some articles online. what I can tell you in my experience, it is so bad once it's brown that I would rather throw it away then drink it. once when I was sick and since they don't have any delivery options I end up hiring Uber package delivery with there stand as a pickup location in my home as a drop of location and called them and pay them over the phone. it work out great except you want to do this 1-where there is no traffic or with the route from pickup location to drop off location with a minimal traffic. 2-you only want to order a quantity that you are ready to consume at a time of delivery. these are my take aways from my personal experience so for example when i go there I just order one small size and then get second one after 30 minutes, and so forth. if I order a second one anytime sooner and if I do drink it fast then I have a stomach ache. however if I wait for those 30 minutes another one and so forth. The most I drink was 4 small sizes one again 30 minutes apart. but in this case I ordered two large sizes which is about one quart each first delivery was during the middle of the day and driver arrived fairly quickly and they didn't start making the juice until the driver show up there. I was able to drink almost whole one quart pretty fast and that was the best I got. as the rest of it got brown by the time I was able to drink more. on the same day at night I again order two quarts but the traffic was worst meaning slower moving and they actually made a juices before the driver arrived so by the time the driver arrived to my location both of juices were already brown and when I try them there was no flavor no nutrition value of any kind. because it taste it so bad yo me that i had to spot it out and discard the remaining. in this case i would rather just drink water. after doing some research online they are some who suggest that it can even be poisonous once it sits for too long. That's exactly how I felt. 3. the staff are very hardworking people

This place is another level- it might as well be in SoHo with the prices and selection they have. Adding in the cast of characters in this place you might as well order from Fresh Direct. You could have groceries delivered by the time you check out in this place! There's guaranteed to be an altercation or mental breakdown happening at the register at any given time! Its also like a maze so once you're in deep good luck finding your way back out!

Clean, and has decent produce. But prices is moderately high without a club card. Overall a good store if it's close by, just get a club card I guess.

We loved this store 😃 we were visiting from Canada- we had a super friendly Cashier who can tell we were from out of town - I didn't get her name but she was fantastic to us both times were were there 😃 signed us up to the stores discount card program to save us money + coupons. We got some Alc drinks( great selection) , some really good spaghetti&meatballs, cooked chicken & treats there..amazing variety & reasonable prices 👍 highly recommend 💯

This is the best and biggest grocery store I’ve found since I moved here in January. First off. No such thing as going to just one grocery store for everything on your list in NY. Until here. It’s like a Walmart. The staff is very….appropriate, lol and I love them ladies.

It's a fully stocked market that's conveniently located near my son's place ... the staff was friendly.

Good selection, produce is pricey but there are enough deals on other items that make shopping here good for budget minded. I hope they still do catering, their dishes are good for a large casual gathering.

Well kept and stocked always my favorite I don’t go as often as I would like, because I would have to take transit, but I will go every once in a while.

Charged me for items I didn’t get, I was busy and rushing and didn’t notice until I got back and now I feel really stressed and bothered. The grocery store itself is nice though and has good items
