What a great Friday night! We were two families (four adults and two fifth-grade girls) and it was the other family that booked it for all of us a gift. What a nice gift. We did The Agency and it was great 007-style heart-pounding excitement. Robert was our man in the shadows and was fantastic. Thank you to him and the others for making it so much fun for us all.

This escape room is absolutely amazing. My group went in for one together and the game master, D, was one of the kindest and most amazing game masters ever. We felt safe with sanitation and was easily able to be helped if the game messed up or if we were a little bit behind. We beat our first game of Jurassic Escape in 59:40, by the skin of our teeth and are going back to do Cartman's Escape tomorrow! I would recommend this place to anybody trying to do something fun in Manhattan but wanting to stay clean with no concerns.

We did the submarine with 5 people and Ana was our host and it was a really fun experience! The puzzles are really fun and creative. We finished with a minute to spare and it was awesome. Ana was truly great!!! I definitely recommend the submarine. 10/10 will definitely try out other rooms :)

Always a great time here. Have done multiple rooms and they’ve all been executed amazingly. Our clue host Drea was amazing!

Great props, good pacing, helpful hints without giving too much away. 6 of us did the Cartman (South Park) escape room on a Thursday evening. The room was spacious with lots to do for everyone. The puzzles fit the South Park theme very well with a few great surprises and inside jokes for fans of the show. The puzzles made general sense although we needed a few hints for some of the harder to solve ones. We’ll definitely be back to try some of the other rooms!

We completed the Clock Tower yesterday and we had a blast. We were a group of 4 who don't typically do escape rooms. The puzzles were fun and the set was stunning. Would recommend others to come and give this place a try!

Great team and fun escape room! We got out with 8 minutes left! They were able to accommodate our group on short notice, it was a ton of fun, and CJ was a fantastic host. Highly recommend!

I had a blast doing the Jurassic room with my 13 year old son! Thankfully Ash was an incredible game master who helped us along so that we could still save the day! In fact, we had so much fun that we decided to add on another couple of rooms. Andrea helped us book and did a great job helping us decide and when Ash ended her shift Xavier took over as game master and also did a great job paying attention and helping us feel successful. The customer service here was top notch! I played my 159, 160, and 161st games here and can say with confidence that the quality was incredible. Out of the three we played, The clock tower was our favorite, but all were great!!

Amazing, Vee is the best. Made the experience so enjoyable for me and my group. Would 100 percent go back if I have the chance.

This was a ton of fun. The room was a cleaver set up and it really took some brain power to solve the puzzles. Highly recommend doing this with at least a group of four.

This was an awesome experience. We did the home and it was fantastic. Dylan was an excellent guide. He dropped us a lot of well timed cues which made the experience really fun without making us feel dumb. Highly recommended.

I went with my family of 8, to “the home” it was super fun and perfectly challenging! they were flexible with booking an extra person, and the the room we were in was very spacious! Thank you Xavier (hopefully I spelled your name correctly:) our clue master! He was very helpful and gave us some needed clues! We escaped the room with 6 minutes and 16 seconds to spare and afterwards there was a setup for pics with props which was so cute! Overall my experience with Escape the Room NYC was a lot of fun for a large group and we all had a phenomenal time! I would definitely recommend and we would love to come back in the future!

A few of my buddies got together for a little fun to start off my bachelor party and we were totally impressed. While the room for the dig started off small and seemingly simple there were a lot of hidden moments that opened up to us as we completed the clues. The staff was very helpful, especially our host Renee who answered all our questions and encouraged us right after we escaped!

We went to do the clock tower and we wanted redemption from our first experience because we needed a bit more time to solve it. The first clue master was amazing and I unfortunately forgot her name. Our most recent clue master, Anna, was phenomenal! We told her it was our 2nd attempt so she kept in mind the time limit for us. We were so happy to have her as a clue master and I recommend asking for Anna.

It was our first time doing an escape room. It was a very good experience. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to others. It was good for both my 8 yr old and 16 year old. They have pretty cool choices of rooms to choose from. We will be visiting again for sure. Looking forward to trying a new room.

We had so much fun in the South Park themed room, which apparently was put together by the South Park team themselves. Pretty cool to have the real thing and not a knock off. Nia was an excellent game master. She was friendly, welcoming, and her hints were appropriately timed and helpful. If you try this room, do not dilly dally at all!!! You need to move really fast if you want to get to the end and get the full experience. So fun!!

Great fun! Successfully got out of a submarine. Ana had to help us couple of times to stay on track with small clues. Solved the last clue with just seconds to spare.

V fun + interactive. Made us feel like we were in the sub. The last bit tripped me up, but Violet was great! Would recommend! Edit: we went again the day for the time clock. Was fun until the end. Apparently you had to pump 5 times but there were no indications we had to do it that number of times. It was frustrating enough for me to change my rating from 5->4.

my friends and I had the best time doing “The Dig” with Violet as our clue master. the room itself was incredible and we loved that we were able to really challenge ourselves before receiving clues! it made our escape worthwhile.

My son and I had so much fun with The Agency that we returned 2 days later to play The Dig. Both rooms were nicely done with interesting and challenging puzzles. The clue masters for both rooms were wonderful! Teresa was our clue master for The Dig and she was super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back again to try the other rooms.

Jesse was an awesome game master. The agency room was super creative and quite fun. Highly recommend.

We had a great time in THE DIG escape room, it was fun for everyone included!!! Violet was our clue helper and she couldn’t have been better- not only did she explain everything perfectly before we started, she helped us when we needed it most and that made our experience 10x better. Highly recommend for big groups!!

I had a wonderful experience in new york city's escape the room. My boyfriend, friend and I did The Agency and we were grouped up in a public game with 4 others, it was a very fun experience. I would definitely go back when I'm back in the city to try their other rooms! The Agency's puzzles were very satisfying to solve. And the employees were kind. The only suggestion I have would be to ask if everyone in the room is okay with a clue before giving them but besides that I loved the experience so much!

It was great! Everyone was friendly when we went (early morning / afternoon Sunday on 11/12/2023). JT was great and had a super cool vibe - made the experience all the more fun for us. It was quite interesting and I'll definitely have to go back to check out some other rooms now that I know how it all works.

I completed "The Home" room last Friday with a few friends. It was a great time! Compared to other escape rooms I've done there was a good variety of puzzles and even the locks were done in a pretty interesting way. Guido was our game master and gave us clues at the right times and answered all of our questions afterwards. He was lovely! Would definitely do another room here in the future

Highly recommended! This is one of the best escape rooms in the country! They have puzzles that make sense and are very satisfying. Christian is the best game master, and he provided us with clues at the exact time that we need them. We will definitely come back to finish all the room!

I had a great time, we did the Jurassic room. It was challenging but fun. Guido was our clue giver and he was very helpful. Definitely would do this again.

Me and 2 friends went and did the office. It was only 3 of us which wasn’t bad we had the room to ourselves. It was my first escape room and it was fun. Dylan was very helpful when we asked him for clues. It was a great experience. We are definitely booking another one next week

GREAT EXPERIENCE! My friends and I just spent a day in the city and decided to do a spur of the moment activity, we found this place and gave it a try. Ticket availability was great even with only a few hours notice. We picked The Home and LOVED it! The room was challenging but not frustrating and so enjoyable to solve. Our host/assistant was Mia who was so incredibly nice and helpful and made it such an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. Overall awesome place to go, and we will definitely be coming back!

Terrible customer service, but pretty decent virtual escape room. I made a virtual escape room booking at noon for later that evening. The time came around and i still hadn't received a link. I called to find out that the room had been booked out to another party. We made arrangements for the next evening. The 12 hour mark prior to our game rolled around (the time when I should have received the zoom link by) - no zoom link. I called 3 hours before, was assured I'd get a link within the hour... no link. I called 2 hours before game time. The woman who answered the phone said she'd talk to her manager and then hung up. Still no link. I called again an hour before the game, asked for the manager. Finally I get the link, and some assurance that we'd actually have a game to play. The only person who apologized or explained what was going on this whole time was the woman I spoke to on the first night during the mixup with the booking. The room was fun, but my experience with this customer service was so bad that altogether I'm giving this 2 stars. I was actually surprised when they ended up following through and sending a link.

Great Clue Master and super fun first escape room experience!

Went with my daughter and two grandsons, 11 and 17. Had an absolute blast. It was extremely challenging but I loved watching the kids work out the clues using logic, intuition and sheer brain power. I highly recommend this as an outing. Our guide, Dylan, was terrific. Thanks for a great afternoon.

Staff was amazing. First time we ever did an escape room and we did the clock tower. It was way more fun than we anticipated and we did it on a whim fairly easily so if you have an hour to kill, we highly suggest it. They also let you take a commemorative photo at the end and give it to you for free which is awesome! :)

This is was very fun experience! I’ve been to other escape rooms before and I really enjoyed this one. Our game host was Haze and he was amazing. He helped us when we needed help and made our time here fun and enjoyable! Thank you!!

We had such a great time! We did The Clocktower and the room had a ton of fun puzzles. I’ve done escape rooms in the past that we’re all just simple locks and this was far from that. We were able to escape just in time too. Phillip was our clue master and did a great job. They helped us when needed but gave us time to figure things out on our own.

This was a fun and great experience. The customer service was absolutely amazing! Even though we arrived a bit late after our scheduled time, the staff was very understanding about that and gave us the full 60 minutes. Xavier was a great facilitator for our room (we did the dig) and Aron was a great help as well. Will definitely be coming back here.

Had a great time here celebrating with my father and nephew. We were placed with a huge family and they were very great members of the team. It was a little crowded at times, however, we managed. I would say the clues were pretty decent, although one of them was almost impossible to get which happens occasionally in certain escape rooms. Some of the clues were scratched up due multiple groups trying the same thing which either helped us or threw us off. We were able to escape on time, the mechanics were good enough, and the plot was generic but appropriate. They did not incentivize for a 5 star review if my memory serves me correct otherwise I would remove a star. If you're looking for a more updated escape room make a trip to The Escape Game NYC and you will have a new standard.

Escape the Room has about 8 rooms with different themes. We did the Jurassic Escape room… It was fun and the staff are so helpful! Shoutout to Christian our clue master, he was so helpful and patient!!

Had a great experience here on my birthday.We did the South Park escape room, Luke was our guide and was very helpful throughout. It was the hardest escape room though so we were only able to do about 75-80% of it.Highly recommended!

Great experience! Our cluemaster Aaron was a great guide through "the Dig" room. We didn't make it out in time but we had a lot of fun. The rooms are very intricate and high tech. Best escape room we've been to!

I went with a group of 7 and we had the best time. Majority first timers. Our group had ages that ranged from 13 to 70. “The Dig” puzzle was challenging but we all were able to figure out different clues. It was super fun and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Aaron for his kindness and assistance. 5 stars!!

We had a super fun time doing "The Office" escape room. The room was large enough to accommodate our party of 10. The theme was creative and the clues were fun and challenging. Suitable for Gen Z, Baby Boomers, and everyone in-between.

Ana was a great escape room master as she helped and lead us to finish our escape room. It was fun and hectic as we almost didn’t get out but it was worth it. We saved humanity from the outbreak room and caught ourselves a whale.

This was the most fun we’ve had at an escape room thus far. Loved the dinosaur themed mission. Gido (or Gito - pardon my forgetting how to spell!) was a great host. He’s our boy.

Our escape room was very fun! It was a large group of us (7) and we all had turns to figure things out and find clues. Our Clue Master Alexis was great, funny, and attentive. I would recommend!

This place was great, very fun, entertaining, and challenging aswell. Our director went by the name Danielle if i’m not mistaken. She was lovely !! We did the submarine. Not only was she very outgoing but she also made it easy to understand the challenge.

So so so fun! Luke was an amazing host. Couldn’t have done it without him!

Luke is the absolute best! Completed the Clock Tower room with only a second to spare but couldn't haven't done it without Luke! So much fun! If your still trying to decide rather or not to book your session, do it!
