Beautiful Church nearby the Time Square. Joined the Christmas Mass there for the first time. The choir was great. The decorations were simple yet very nice! they really follow social distancing and Covid protocol 👍

Very impressive church in the heart of the big apple. Huge space, very tranquil with light, soothing music, and many religious sculptures, as expected from a church this size. Super high ceiling, hundreds of seats and a very quiet timeout from the noisiest per of the city - you don’t need to be religious to enjoy that.

Beautiful Episcopal Anglo-Catholic church, located near Times Square. So, if you are at Times Square you can’t leave NYC without visiting St Mary the Virgin Church. Take pictures of this magnificent Catholic Church. Enjoy the gorgeous interior decoration of one of the finest churches in NYC.

It's a glorious space, with music to match! This parish is particularly well-known for processions in Times Square on Palm Sunday and Corpus Christi (transferred to Sunday.) Their commitment to remaining open daily for prayer is a laudable and worthy intention. A note to asthmatics, though: this place is affectionately referred to as "Smoky Mary's" with good reason, so it may be prudent to sit near an exit if one is susceptible to billowing clouds of incense.

It is a very beautiful Church, the masses are beautiful, especially Christmas Eve. They also have a choir that sings super beautifully. And the Priests very eloquent.

This church is all about love, people, and home, inspiring those who come here to feel welcomed. they clearly frame their mission as fulfilling “your” destiny. Visitors to this Church will likely feel connected right away to continue searching for a path to their destinies, as well. Thanks, everybody for your time and reading.

I'm an atheist, but what a quiet place in the middle of Babylon.

I went on Friday Jan 6th for the Solemn service for "Epiphany". There was a wonderful Organ Recital played by Dr. Gail Archer prior to the beginning of the service. Such beautiful music. I was really moved by the service itself, the chanting and singing during the Solemn Mass felt so meaniful. Thank you Dr.David Hurd & choir! The sermon given by Brother Jim Woodrum, SSJE was thoughtful, comforting and helpfully resonated with these days & times. I certainly plan to attend another service at Saint Mary's in the near future.

A quiet rest in Times Square and sometimes messages of encouragement are given. Stunning. Doors have been open daily since 1873

Very beautiful architecture, 13th-century French Gothic style, modeled on the saint chapelle church

St. Mary's church was breathtaking - the organ playing was beautifully haunting when we walked in. Such a vibe in here, I loved it.💖

Beautiful place, I love that this is my church. I just wish that the tourists would respect it more.. like take your pictures before or after the sermon NO DURING.

This treasure of an Anglican Church is hidden on mid block, on the northside of West 46th Street, between 6th & 7th Avenue. Not easily visible until you're quite close, the doors are usually open for visitors during regular daytime hours. We'll worth a visit for quite time, away from the hustle and bustle of the Times Square neighborhood.

The church can be seen in the movie Fame from 1980. However was depicted as a hotel! See photo and Hotel Remington in the background!

Lovely church. Open during the day and always nearly empty to sit and be quiet for a while.

A beautiful historic church that is full of incredible art, peace, and comfort. We accidentally stumbled upon it in the midst of a long and exhausting day. It was the perfect atmosphere to recharge spiritually and physically.

Beautiful church with open visiting hours for locals and tourists alike. Classic and traditional architectural design. Worship schedule is available on their website. But, I enjoy ducking in for my own self styled meditation and quiet time when I'm in the area. On the North side of 46th Street in the middle of the block just East of Times Square. A truly beautiful place.
