Fun place to walk around. We went on a a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy. The lines for hot cocoa and donuts were super long but lines for vendors were short/none. Nice talking to the local artists

Love shopping from here, there is fresh vegetables and fruits market. During festival there is another market which has specific stores and is open whole season. And during other times the market is during the weekend till 5-6 pm. The fruits are very fresh and juicy also there are fresh breads, flowers and honey selling. Do visit. Happy shopping ;)

Great food, great atmosphere, and just great place to visit during the holiday season. Be prepared to wait in lines for some popular food. We went on the Saturday after thanksgiving and these are the approximate time we waited. Raclette stand - around 10 minutes. It looked long but it was faster than expected Truffleist Truffle fries - around 15 minutes, and you have to wait to pick up too, but that was only about 4 minutes No Chewing Allowed Hot Chocolate - we got lucky and when we are in line, there weren’t so many people, so it was about 8 minutes ( there is only one person making the hot chocolate plus taking order so be prepared for longer waiting time) We saw the excessively long line for liquid s’more so we didn’t get that The jewelry stands are very cute, I highly recommend. Pro tip is to use the bathroom beforehand! We tried to find a bathroom and saw another excessively long line in Whole Foods.

Fantastic Christmas Market with something for everyone - trinkets, toys, pet treats, clothing... plus a liberal dollop of amazing (if not cheap) treats and snacks.

Great place to find fun and unique gifts for the holidays. You can find great stuff here for everyone on your list. They also have drinks and snacks you get while you shop. Close to the movies and restaurants. Fun for the whole family. Just open for the holidays. Union Square does have a farmers markets during the summer you can check out.

This holiday market is adorable. I really liked how it was laid out. The no food items we’re together while the food and beverage vendors were close together. They had a great variety of food vendors. The only draw back were the giant lines. The cheese wheel pasta, the raclette cheese and the boiis mochi desserts were a huge hit. It really gets the holiday spirit going. The Union Square Holiday Market can definitely compete with the one at Bryant Park. To accommodate the long lines, the vendor booths should have more room in between.

The Raclette is a MUST!! Food options were definitely better than the Bryant Park ones. But not a lot of decorations or festive things to do in this market beside eating or shopping at the vendors - no Christmas decor, ice skating and so on.

Some supercool finds! I found a shop that 3-D prints the ornaments/earrings/necklace in biodegradable material. Also found a store that turns old books into clocks. It's a wonderful and festive market. Brings great Holiday cheer. Has some food stalls as well. You can find decor, clothing, jewellery, eco products, sauces/oils, etc. They may be expensive so it is good to also go to the stores website to check the items, unless you are doing last minute shopping.

We love the Holiday Markets and have gone for many years. This year, it felt especially crowded— perhaps because of the number of people not wearing masks. We ended up leaving much faster than in years past, but there was still a lot to see. The artists are great.

Super crowded with lots of stores that sell similar goods. The Bryant park, Union square and Columbus circle holiday market are almost identical, which makes it less surprising as well.

This market just popped up for the year and I visited this afternoon with very little idea of what to get family members. The area is very crowded, with a number of small stalls with creative products. There are a few food stalls but few places to sit down and eat. It was a good opportunity to get some inspiration and I walked away with a few bags in hand.

Quaint setting with amazing access to restaurants and unique shops. Enjoyed the visit very much including the Raclette sandwiches that were easily accessible as opposed to the Bryant Park Street Festival where it was too overcrowded.

We had such a great time browsing through all the little tents and booths! We went for the tik tok viral Liquid S’more at Rubyzaar Baked and it was a solid 20/10!

Great holiday market on 14th Street & Union Square. They have many vendors selling so much from Holiday gifts, fresh fruit, candles, clothing, wreaths, small trees, tea, elixirs, homeopathic remedies, vodka, coffee, Banksy replicas, apple cider, honey & alot more! Definitely check it out!

What a wonderful craft market at Union square! So many local artists with all kinds of wanted to sell. Plus good food options. Take you time to stroll the booths, eat, shop and people watch. Whole Foods is across the street for more food choices and a heavily used bathroom

Super cute and fun little experience. They have probably the best hot chocolate there. And the food was incredible. Definitely recommend the lava bao, the little shops there were super cute. For sure recommend going hungry there’s a lot of food to eat!

The playground for the kids was full of happy young ones running around. The bumps were there but no issues. The birdmen feeding the flying ones. The pets and their owners having a great outdoor day. The sun heating its lovers. The Magnolias were showing off their colors. The NY park staff keeping things clean. Enjoy NY while you visit Union square!

Nice Local market. A lot less intimidating than Bryant Park. Had the Roulette sandwich. It was awesome but get here early because the line gets very long. Could use a couple more food options. But besides that it was great.

Very nice. There is a great selection of food. I was just passing through New York for half a day. Would have loved to do some shopping there. Had hot apple cider, perfect for the Christmas Spirit. Worth the visit

The atmosphere there is the best when the market is at peak. So busy, people walking by. I think this market has pretty good value for its groceries. Nice coffees around and the park to hangout.

it’s a the holiday season, so don’t be a BRAT but do enjoy a BRATWURST at the German Bratwurst stand at the Union Square Holiday Market. the Union Square Holiday Market is an annual event for me to shop at a bunch of local merchants and eat some delicious eats from different restaurants, pop-ups, food trucks, etc. from across the city. the Holiday Market runs from late October to Jan 2, each year. this review is about German food stand on the east side of the Holiday Market. you can smell the German sausages as savory scents waft through the air. there’s a large bbq grill with a variety of German sausages sizzling (brats, bauernwurst, currywurst, etc) as well as German pretzels warming on the side. ordered a Bratwurst—it comes in a roll, topped with sauerkraut and mustard. you can get ketchup (but don’t bc that is sacrilege! lol). the brat’ in a warm roll was so good and hit the spot as an on-the-go meal. the bratwurst is meaty, full of flavor, and good-sized serving. the roll is warm, but is a hard roll…so it has the right amount of chew and is not too soft. sauerkraut and mustard add a nice layer of flavor of sour, sweet, and tart-and-tangy. this is a must-eat for carnivores. the bratwurst is $8 + tax + tip. the brat is filling but leaves enough room to pick up other eats from other stands. tour the world’s foods from Union Square. the staff is friendly and keep the lines moving.

Quality shops, but The PEOPLE who attend these markets are the worst! Besides the fact that they can’t WALK they are rude and brain dead. Then there is the “security” who let rogue vendors harass you while your shopping in someones booth. As well as let fights go on in front of them between vendors and civilians because security is eating and having a conversation… Deff can find some great buys here, but you’ll wanna blow your brains out!
